Cora doesn’t not owe Rumple a baby anymore. He only said that she could give him his (Rumple’s) baby. He changed the contract when she wanted to run away with him.

I still think it’s possible that PP looks exactly like Henry so there actually wouldn’t be a casting call for PP. If they said that role didn’t need a casting call then that would be a big spoiler. Just my thought.

Absolutely. He could tell Aurora to tell Snow/Charming where he is. I guess my focus was more on Bae at this point but yes I think we’ll see the Red Room and the dreams a few times in S3.

Yeah, that bothered me. If she had acknowledged NL, then we could basically call Ariel in NL canon. I still think we will see her in Mermaid Lagoon.

Just because Regina is playing nice with the Charmings and Rumple and Hook doesn’t necessarily mean she is going to put all her cards on the table right away. She may reveal later that she has been there and has experience with the mermaids but just because she didn’t acknowledge NL in the finale doesn’t mean she hasn’t been there. At least, not in my mind. 😀

Okay, one more crazy theory. I think some other people have said a similar thing but here’s my take on it.

Maybe Henry isn’t just the kid that will lead to the Dark One’s undoing but maybe he is the child that will lead to eradicating all magic. (And therefore the Dark One’s power as well.) PP has some reason to hate magic himself. Whether it’s because he was taken from his family when he was young by fairies and brought to NL or because he fell in love with a fairy (Tinkerbell) but something happened to her (or she didn’t love him back) and he blames magic or maybe he got cursed and thinks the only way to get rid of his curse is to get rid of all magic.

Okay, I have some ideas but they don’t necessarily go together at least I can’t seem to get them into one cohesive theory. 😉

But what if PP is stuck in NL. Maybe his body can’t leave and that’s why he needs Henry. Not necessarily for his shadow but for him as a whole. But PP wants to stay young forever so he can’t just leave NL he has to have the right body to do so. Maybe Henry is the perfect vessel because he is born of true love and comes from a place with magic (FTL parents) but was conceived and born in the Land Without Magic. Therefore he has the ability to carry magic within himself and perhaps even produce magic where there isn’t any (just like Emma?).

The other thought I had was that PP and Henry looked exactly alike. (That’s how the Lost Ones are able to have a picture of him?)

I don’t think PP needs shadows to power NL. I do think NL is cursed so that people don’t age; however, who came up with the curse, I’m not sure. Maybe the original Dark One or PP himself.

Perhaps PP is the original Dark One (others have had this same idea) or the one that created the first Dark One.

I think the Shadow is PP’s but it kind of works in reverse to a heart in that you can control your shadow to do things and say things to others. PP himself can’t leave NL so the shadow does all his dirty work for him in other realms. I think the glowy eyes means that the shadow is separated and is controlled by someone just like a ripped out heart glows. Also the shadow seems to be drawn to kids like Henry (sweet, innocent, brave, full of hope and goodness) so he lures them back to NL in hopes that it’s the right one.

I think the Lost Ones are different than the boys that cry at night. I think the Lost Ones were orphans or kids that were recruited by PP or the shadow for the sole purpose of staying young and serving PP. The crying boys were the ones that the shadow brought back hoping to match the picture.

I don’t know if any of these ideas make any sense or if they even fit together but just some of my thoughts to add to the mix.

I had a question. If people don’t age in NL, do other animals and plants age? Do plants still grow? Can birds lay eggs and then hatch? How are all those things to be explained? Is it just that people do not grow or age?

I would have actually believed it more if Belle didn’t get her memories back and that’s why Rumple left her. I can see him leaving Lacey behind, I just would never have believed him leaving his Belle behind. But I was thinking, maybe she’ll oversee the new bean crop and then follow the rest of the main cast with some beans in tow?

I don’t know if this is considered a spoiler so just to be safe… Vancity reported that when they were at the shooting of that part of the episode, it was suppose to FTL.
