I’m pretty sure that Bae fell through to Fairytale Land / Enchanted Forrest as this scene was set in that land.

I could also see Mulan just staunching his wound and putting herbs on it–she’s a warrior after all, so we wouldn’t have to question too much how she knows some stuff like that. Neal would then continue to be weak not fully healed.
This could work as well. I just keep on thinking that he’ll be healed but who knows. And yeah, I agree about BF. I’m about fed up with her.

This is very true and I’m hopeful that the creepy magical big bad could be one of the following
1) the Shadow. Already creeped out by this glowy eyed thing.
2) One of the Lost Boys. In the promo stills, the character of Felix seems particularly menacing.
3) Ursula. I’d love it if the second half of the season was about the Mermaid Kingdom and how Ursula has over thrown Trident and cast out Ariel.I think it’s about time we moved on from Rumple and Regina being the bad guys. I was so disappointed in Regina this past season. I just would have never thought that she’d slip completely back. But the finale gives me hope that finally she sees the truth and can really start to redeem herself.
I think with the Home Office and possibly being in NL, we will have our share of baddies. It’s possible that all 3 of your thoughts could be the baddies and maybe even working together. In regards to #2,Felix was cast as a possible reoccurring character, wasn't he? So he could definitely be back in S3.
I so want to see Ursula and Ariel!! I really hope we are going to NL!

What I mean is that the show didn’t vent this possible use of the lake for no reason. Charming tried, it didn’t work, but the fact that Ruth didn’t really drink it leaves it open ended whether or not the waters of the lake can be used to cure wounds.
Like I said, the finale is so event packed that they can’t delve too long in a subplot; if not the waters of the lake, then it’ll be Mulan concocting a magical potion from various herbs, but that’ll be an even bigger stretch, won’t it?
Oh I see. Yes, good point. If the two options are Lake Nostos (which thus far has yet to heal wounds–though Charming seems to believe it can) or Mulan making a potion, I’d rather have it be Lake Nostos. I think if it’s the second option, then suddenly people will start to wonder where Mulan learned it, and want her backstory more than they do now. And sadly, Jamie Chung is heading off to NBC for a show so I don’t know if we’ll ever see her again. At least lake Nostos I can rationalize as “well we didn’t know for sure, but at least now we know Charming was right in his assumption that it could heal.”
I think it makes sense that Lake Nostos could return Neal’s health and return Philip’s soul. If it can return Fredrick’s body back from being turned into gold, I would think it could do the other two. But I suppose we’ll have to see where the E&A go with this.

My guess on that is that Hook may overhear GOAT discussing it and pass the info on to the Charmings. Was Henry visible in the background when Charming punched Hook? Maybe that’s after Henry’s been taken, and Hook goes to tell them about it, and Charming is all, “You knew what they were planning and didn’t tell us sooner?!
That makes sense. I like that Hook will help them out. Maybe this is where Hook finds out about Neal/Bae. They say something about how Tamara shot Neal and now they are after his son Henry. And maybe also tell him to forget about his revenge aganist Rumple since there are more important things and he’s already suffering due to Neal/Bae being gone. I don’t know. Something like that.
