And yes I think Regina believed Snow but she may have believed Rumple too, only in his case she would have expected an ulterior motive or some sort of trick. That’s what she didn’t expect with Snow because Snow has never stooped to their level or used their tactics. In that respect, Regina believed Snow was sincere when in fact she wasn’t. So sure, there was an expectation that Snow would be telling the truth but I still think there was more to it. Knowing how Snow has always professed to be pure of heart and seemed to have good intentions, coupled with Regina’s longing for her mother’s love, Regina believed Snow without question this time. I think, Regina wanted to believe Snow in this case as well. She wanted her mother’s love so much that she was willing to believe Snow without thinking their was something fishy going on. It would be easy in Regina’s mind to justify believing Snow since she normally doesn’t lie. But I think there has been times in the past that she hasn’t completely believed or trusted what Snow has said.
I also find it interesting that before all this occurred Regina and Snow had that conversation at Granny’s where Regina basically says that Snow is the one who added “evil” to Regina’s name and Snow responds by saying that good doesn’t do what Regina has done. But now Snow has dabbled in the same pool as Regina. So does Snow think of herself as “evil” now?

It’s easier just to blame someone you already hate and someone you think of as being weaker than you and vulnerable. Regina doesn’t just want Snow to die, she wants her to suffer.

Also it seems like what is eating Snow up isn’t the fact Cora is dead but that she used Regina to kill her own mother.
I agree with this 100%. I don’t think Snow feels badly that Cora is dead. In fact, she knew it would probably be necessary to keep her family and Storybrooke safe. But manipulating Regina and using her need for her mother’s love to trick her into killing her own mother is what Snow can’t seem to deal with. It is completely the opposite of how she normally operates. It’ll be interesting to see how Snow decides to deal with her own actions and what the real repercussions (the price) of what she did will be.

But I would agree with KFChimera that if OUAT is going for Morgan le Fay, then they probably would start with what most audiences are familiar with and that would be her being evil or at least somewhat antagonistic to our main characters. I think the idea of combining the Lady of the Lake and Morgan le Fay’s characters would be interesting as well. I’ve been waiting for more on Lancelot and I think this would tie in nicely to the beginning of this season and give us another avenue to explore for season 3.

Hope they explain how they already have beans almost ready to harvest when it’s meant to take 100 years and they’ve had about a week.

Also, one small peeve: I know “they are both” but I really wish Charming would call her Snow.
This has started to bug me so much, it’s officially become a serious pet peeve.
Same here. Someone had an interesting explanation as to why he was calling her MM this episode but he’s been doing it for a while and frankly it’s driving me crazy!
"We were happy."
"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantIt is true that Snow did it to save her family but she also did it out of vengeance and she used Regina in the same way Regina and Cora used people. If she had killed Cora honorably, I don’t think she would have felt as guilty or even any guilt. But the means by which she killed Cora is what, I believe, is causing Snow so much agony.

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantI really hope that was on purpose. That would be so cool. 😎

As someone who’s read a lot of Arthurian legend, I feel obligated to mention that there are many different versions and Morgan le Fay isn’t always a really bad guy. 🙂 Or girl.
She and Arthur have a sister, Morgause. Now, there’s a piece of work.
I did know that Morgause was really the “bad” one, but I think more people are familiar with Morgan le Fay. But either way, I think it would be really interesting if they decided to go that route for Tamara’s FLT character (if she indeed has one).
