Remember when Emma tried to kill Belle in 5A?

Bar FarerParticipant“Your son has a death wish which if messes with me one more time, I’m happy to fulfill.”
“And I’m happy to help”
Sweet Christmas.
Are Emma and Snow aware that they talking to Belle about Belle’s child??
Also, Gideon messed with you?? Yeah, he sent your boyfriend to another realm but 1) it’s been proven a few times now that travel between realms is getting easier and more convenient 2) you and Hook keeping telling each other that your survivors and not to worry and 3) Gideon didn’t harm Hook nor has he made any moves to harm anyone and even seems to have moved on from his whole “Kill Emma Swan!” riff.
So the “I’ll kill him if he puts one toe out of line!” thing is fairly eye-roll worthy. Ease up off that throttle, Emma.
Also, Snow? You stole a baby and sent it to another realm. Do shut up.
Yes. I don’t get how someone can write these lines to these characters and still claim that they are heroes.

Bar FarerParticipantGideon uses Hook as a bargaining chip like Emma used Belle in season 5 and Hook used Belle in season 4. Hypocrite.

What are you talking about, she was given that ring on the day she was born and she’s worn it every single day since.
–Pretty sure that’s not actually Jafar’s lamp/bottle from Wonderland!
You’re kidding me, right? You’re — you’re kidding me! I have yet to see these last three episodes (have heard such bad things), but did the writers even watch WL? Or S1, or 2, or 3?
They don’t care. They haven’t for a while now. People should stop expecting anything from the writers.
The saddest thing is that there was a time when I saw that Jane Espenson wrote the episode I thought that the episode must be good. Not anymore."All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantYeah they really are building up the black fairy to be the biggest villain on the show. I hope they deliver.
They won’t.

Bar FarerParticipantWhy couldn’t he have been one of the main threats throughout the entire Season? Why limit him to just 3 random episodes? Did they have limited availability with Oded, or did they reduce their plans for Jafar because of the recasting backlash?
Ultimately, I feel Adam and Eddy bit off more than they can chew this season! Villains this season consisted of Jekyll & Hyde, Evil Queen, Mr. Gold, Jafar, Gideon, & The Black Fairy….it was just too much, and most storylines were dropped/ended before they really ever started.
I think a lot of changes happened in the Writing Room…too many changes.
I don’t think they really planned anything in advance. It feels like they just drew stuff from a hat randomly.
Aladdin and Jasmine were just a way of trying to take advantage of Disney popularity (which didn’t really work out), they didn’t really serve any purpose at all.

"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantThen why wouldn’t he want Henry away as well?
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantWell, here’s the thing. Rumpel had the power to get rid of the ogres, as we know. That means Zoso has that power. The Duke could have ordered him to get rid of the ogres, but instead, he used him to keep his subjects in-check.
I was just thinking that the other day — if Rumple could just blow up the Ogres, then why didn’t the Duke when he had the dagger? I’m guessing the war was politically expedient.
I can’t remember now, but weren’t the Ogre wars about human encroachment / (or, essentially, colonialism) — I have the feeling we learn this in one of the Belle/Gaston episodes? Or is that the 2nd Ogre War, and the first one has other reasons?
I think it was the third war, or the forth.
