Bar FarerParticipant
The second sneak peek feels awkward to me. It feels like Belle assumes they tried to help her, and Emma acts like “oh crap, we forgot about her, let’s just not tell her that (cause then she’ll stop babysit my brother and I’ll be the one who has to do it).”.

Bar FarerParticipantWell, isn’t that the thing though? They could. They’ve already gone back on “he was obliterated” and if they really wanted to, they would. Have Zeus snap his fingers or have there be another magical object that can bring him back or have it be a reward for Regina for defeating her evil self.
I just think they can barely get away with bringing someone back from the dead once. If they do it again, death will literally mean nothing on this show. I will bet my life on it that Robin Hood will not be brought back to life.
Archie, Blue Fairy, Rumple, Charming, Zelena, Hook (3 times)…
Sorry to tell you but death already means nothing on this show, especially after we know that they basically live the same life in a red Storybrooke after they die and it doesn’t help that resurrection has no post traumatic effect on them.

Bar FarerParticipantI could be so wrong, but here’s a thought! What if Robin Hood is dead, but there’s a way for him to come back…. We’re delving off into “Untold Stories” this season, and there is definetly one story we haven’t heard yet…Page 23, the Author’s Experiment Writing. What if A & E have Regina somehow transported into the storybook, and she brings out Page 23’s Version of Robin Hood?! Not only would the dead is dead technically stick because it wouldn’t be the Robin we knew, but it’s also a sneaky way to bring back the character….this way, they could technically have their cake and eat it too. And it’d also allow us to really see Henry’s capabilities as an author if he helped his mother reunite with her soul mate this way.
They might bring him back to life it it is the final season, otherwise I don’t see him returning to be a regular cast member.

Bar FarerParticipantThe mirror theory makes sense. I’m very surprised that Sean actually accepted this request. He sounded quite bitter in his exit interviews and spouting dialogue from a mirror doesn’t exactly sound like a rewarding role. Besides, he’s got a new gig lined up in ‘Timeless’, so why return to OUAT when it treated him so badly?
Money.
Also, I think that he didn’t like being obligated to be there all the time and doing nothing while being a reccuring star allows him to do different things as well.

Bar FarerParticipantThe only “evidence” against this theory is that it would be economically unwise when the new B&B is coming out in spring 2017. Killing Rumple off too early and aborting the OUAT_internal BB story might not jive well for promotional purposes for the new Disney product. And it means not capitalizing on the slice of the market/viewership potentially resulting from the film. There’s $$$ to consider here, and as we’ve learned with the Frozen adaptation, OUAT keeps its eye on the prize.
Disney do not need and it has never needed OUAT to promote their products. It’s Beauty and the Beast, the Acadamy Award winner, best picture nominee and one of the most popular Disney films of all times. If it did’t need OUAT back then, it certainly doesn’t need it now.
It’s the other way, OUAT uses Disney franchises to get more ratings.

See I disagree. I could see them killing the Savior if she does so to protect everyone she loves and goes out in true Savior form. And the suspense part of it is who exactly is under the cloak. And I love the idea that every Savior has a villain that is sort of their crutch. Again my bet, is that it’s Rumple.
And if she dies so what? She’ll just live in a red filterred Storybrooke.

Your 9 Most Burning Questions #327688Bar FarerParticipantThe vision showed Emma getting stabbed, but not actually dying. Not that it matters, as death isn’t the end on OUAT. Even obliteration isn’t the end apparently, so I for one am not “clutching my chest and desperate for breath” with worry.
This is exactly the problem that was caused by the previous season. There is no death, there are no stakes, Emma will be fine and we lose interest.

September 21, 2016 at 10:51 am in reply to: Season 6 Viewing Schedule (Season Premiere Date Confirmed!) #327408Bar FarerParticipantJust another thought—608 might not be the winter finale only because A and E didn’t write it and they usually do write any sort of finale/premieres. Of course, this isn’t a hard or fast rule so it’s possible that A and E chose to put more effort into writing 609 (the spring premiere) and let someone else take the winter finale, especially since now that split seasons are gone, the winter finale is not the finale of an entire storyline.
But there are no more “spring” premieres, and they didn’t write the episodes which followed the winter finales in s1-2.

Bar FarerParticipantThat’s an amazing pic of Ginny and Josh as Snow and Charming. Really, lovely. (but like, when does this take place?)
In a deleted scene IMO.
