Like, I know in my head it’s total SQ bait but …. it was very good bait.

I don’t ship SQ romantically, but I like their relationship and I think they bring the best of each other. The season finale was the only time in this season I felt like Emma was really Emma and that’s thanks to Regina, along with Henry and Rumple.

Speaking of the Library: where did the Grail’s twin come from? How did it get into the Library in NYC?

LOL. You already know the answer to that…

I’m also sick of the finale’s having nothing to do with the overarching plot of the season. They have done this like three straight times now and I’m not the biggest fan. It takes away from the season

I agree with this. As much as I liked the season finale (especially the second half…) this is a problem. It’s pretty disconnected from anything that happened in the arc (Hades, the Underworld) that you almost, for a second, forget that we just spend 10 episodes battling the Lord of the Underworld. The finale could have been a great time to have the big showdown between Hades and the SB gang and to flesh out Hades a lot more than what the writers did over the course of the arc.

I agree. It actually felt like a season premiere rather than a season finale.

Season 4 finale had some connection to the arc so it didn’t feel like it was out of context.

Season 3 finale was just a self contained filler movie which added nothing to the the season or even the following season. It was just bad.

I really enjoyed this episode. It was the best finale ever since “Going Home”. What made this episode so great for me is characters dealing with internal conflicts, the dysfunctional family dynamic and I really fell in love with Regina all over again.

My problems with this episode is disregarding Dopey-tree and apparently the twon line is no longer a thing, so what was the point in doing that in 502?! and how Snow and Charming are friends with the woman who kidnapped their baby.

Did the test even say Emma had to be in True Love? Or did it say she had to have a heart filled with true love? Because i agree, you could replace Hook with anyone and it would have had the same outcome. And plus with Emma being True Love incarnate, it really doesnr prove anything. Doea anyone feel like the writers are avoiding an actual TLK?

I have a theory that the writers like the fans wars because those give the show attention, so they’ll keep it as ambiguous as possible so the fans could keep fighting on everything.

They pretty much write the show based on fans’ reaction at this point.

Pointless question: when Henry tried to destroy magic in season 2 Neal was there. Why didn’t he mention anything about this stupid quest?!

I’m actually bracing myself for Henry’s death… His death would further the CS agenda, by getting rid of the last reminder of SF. Then, Belle would name her baby Henry, making him the third Henry on the show. I’m scared.

    Quote

Henry’s death would destroy SF legacy, it will drive Regina further into villain mode and Emma will be broken (because suddenly she will remember she has a son) and Hook will come out good by hugging her or whatever.

Neal was on a….quest? For…what? (also, another hint that MRJ is gonna be in this episode) The Grail has an opposite?

    Quote

To destroy magic because they need to demonize his character even more cause they’re not happy that fans are not on #TeamHook and this is a stupid attempt.

They manage to ruin and retcon his character even when he’s not on the show anymore…
