I’m scared to see the fandom next year. I think it’ll be at its most volatile.
I agree. It’s getting worse every year.

It’s like “The North Remembers” or something…as if the OUAT fandom has turned into a twisted real life version of GoT…

Characters are more interesting when they have flaws. Moreover, they are more interesting when these flaws are acknowledged because then it creates organic conflicts. The problem with Hook and Emma and their relationship and why it feels so forced is because the writers don’t want to acknowledge any flaws with these two, individually and together as a couple, and when they do drop something about Emma making mistakes throughout the season, we have Snow White denying that and talking nonesense about love or hope.

Had Hook not been written at the expense of other characters, he probably could have grown on more people.
Oh he’s grown on plenty of people, just take a gander at Tumblr, shows Twitter, and the shows FB. Hating Hook is a minority opinion in the audience. GA does indeed love him, he tracks well with the audience he’s easily one of the most popular characters on the show.
We all know that, otherwise he would have been gone a long time ago.

Then the Hook and Zeus scene felt very much like the iconic Harry and Dumbledore “Kings Cross” scene.
Oh that was straight up King’s Cross. Like right down to the way the scene was lit and the set dressing.
Cause ripping off Buffy and Game of Thrones is not enough so they did Harry Potter as well. What will be the next film/TV/book/story they rip off?

I’m going to say it again: it doesn’t make sense…..the death of Neal was the downfall. I didn’t believe it, but it’s true. No one learns.
This. 3B used to be my least favorite arc. Now Season 5 is my least favorite SEASON. Season 4 gave us some great villains (Ingrid, Ursula, and Cruella), but that’s it. So, to rank: S1 WL 2A 3A 4B 4A 2B 3B 5A 5B I need a S1 and WL rewatch.
S4 was a masterpiece compared to S5 and I never thought I would say that. How did they go from such a promising start at the beginning of the season to this horrible mess? Why are they more concerned about fanservice (Hook, Zelena, Disney) and less about telling a good coherent story?
