Am I the only one who was bothered by all the shameless retcons in this episode? They totally ruined the episode for me.
In addition, I really hate that ever since season 4B, the show labels people into “heroes” and “villains” and tells me who I should hate and who I should love and give “redemption” with zero effort cause now we need to feel bad for Zelena and Hades can be redeemed because the writers said so, and once again Rumple does horrible things with no sense, no motivation and no explanation, why can’t they put a sign on his shirt that says “he’s the villain, hate him” and be done with it. What’s with his new relationship woth Pan? What happened to all the psychological issues he had because of his father? What happened to the grey characters without classify them as pure villains or pure heroes? People who do wrong things because they think they have a good reason?

Bar FarerParticipantI believe the rating’s will drop to 0.9 or 1.0 at most.
I don’t think they’ll drop that low. Don’t get me wrong, you could be right, but I think at this point in the game we’re down to the loyal viewers who will tune in regardless of what else is on.
People here said the same thing when the show dropped to 1.6, and it still went lower than that.
I think loyal fans are the ones who watched Wonderland till the end and the lowest ratings it got was 0.7-0.8 IIRC.

Bar FarerParticipantHappy Passover

Bar FarerParticipantI don’t think they’ll get out of the river, I don’t think they’ll ever be mentioned again because the viewers don’t care about them, therfore the writers don’t care about them, therefore the characters don’t care about them. Belle will be fine next season as if nothing happened.
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantNo and I don’t think they remember that the netherworld exist, which is a shame since it was a great concept and a metaphore about post trauma.

Bar FarerParticipantOMG. You’re right, this makes sense and it must have been the thing Jaime was refering in her tweet.

Bar FarerParticipantNext week’s ratings will be more interesting.

Regina is a hypocrite, why the baby is about her and not Robin?!?What is the point of Mulan?! of course she’s not the one in the relationship because SHOCK. also, she’s a POC, they don’t deserve true love, they are only here to serve the white characters.
More flying monkeys = poor innocent people that the audience don’t care about. Hilarious.
Hook, take off your creepy rings.
“Ruby Sleepers” – cause the writers don’t write ships.
Hades didn’t enchant Hook’s hook to carve names, he gave him a tool. Why should they bother with continuity in the SAME season?
Snow left so she can do better things like promoting Zootopia, good for her.
A nice old lady was poured into that river thing, I hope there’s a way to get people out of there and she won’t be forgotten (of course she will cause the viewers don’t care about her).
Belle, a better idea is to get out of the Underworld. Hades can’t take your child away from you if the baby is in the land of the living (Of course, you and the writers and the audience forgot about that inconvenient plot point).
The episode was not good.

Bar FarerParticipantWhy is GoS considered ‘shocking’? I think it’s typical TV story. It reminds me a bit of Law and Order SVU or something. I like the story so far and root for the lawyer and friends to bring down the warden. On a different note, NBC are airing a show called “better late than never” (starring William Shatner among others) and they asked a bunch of random people to watch it in advance and give their honest opinion of the show. (I got $20 for my opinion :-)) Do networks usually do this? Because if they did… if ABC would have asked random people to rate ouat I bet CS would have faded away years ago….
They do it for pilots. I went to Vegas in 2010 and there was a screening of Hawaii Five-0 pilot and a survey afterwards to see what people thought about it.
