But honestly Hades sounds like a creeper stalker crazy dude, and ya know what? I think he and Zelena are going to hit it off just fine. Just keep him away from the baby.

Wait, WHAT????????? Rumple doesnt care for Neal in canon??????? Omfg So thats it. They friggin killed his charachter! So in order not to have MRJ in the show, they killed what was once Rumple/Mr Gold. So now, what, they will bring back Baelfire?? As a child? How many ways could you spell rediculous? Reddikulus. Wow I HATE this show now. Why couldnt they leave a great story alone? Why take SUCH a beautiful tale like the one in seasons 1 through 3a, and KILL IT?????? Completely distroy it? For FOOKIO? For heavens sake! I looked on you tube for a copmilation of Rumple/Regina scenes, because this is my only regret for not watching past season 3, I miss those two and their interactions, So I looked on YouTube, thinking, I wont watch season 4,5 but only see my dear Regina again. Interacting with Rumple. And… all they had was a compilation on seasons 1 to 3a. So apparently, ouat is really not worth watching anymore because no more sassy Rumple/Regina scenes either. So why the pull to keep watching this thing, eh?

The only thing that will bother me about the DVD is if the sides of the cover has Colin’s picture while it should be Josh’s turn, it will be so disrespectful for an actor who’s been on the show since day 1.

watching season 1 made me think… I refuse to believe that A&E, who reportedly sat for ten years planning this show, would let a pretty-boy decimate such a beautiful work of art! There is no way an artist would allow anyone to defecate all over his/her artwork. Therefore, I believe that this whole hook situation was a ruse. The authors are stringing us along. No one has ever seen the effects of a strong love potion on this show, YET. There has been talk about it. Regina wanted to use it on Henry during season 2. But the audience were never fooled by one yet. (unless Cora used one on Regina, but I don’t think she needed to) And if the residents of StoryBrooke are going to the dead-land, well, bad dead people are just as dead as good dead people. The underworld can’t possibly be their last stop. Neal is coming back! it’s not as though hook is made into some really good guy with a sad back story. he killed his own father. and, no, I am sorry, but his daddy issues are not anything compared to Cora’s kids’ mommy issues, or Rumple’s daddy issues or Bae’s abandonment story or even Pan’s daddy selling him to a blacksmith. RG said that Hook’s father sold him and his brother to a captain on a ship?? and then they ended up being a respectable captain and lieutenant? doesn’t sound like he sold them to very bad people. maybe he just gave them up, to give them their best chance? the writing is purposely not giving hook a very sympathetic backstory, because they are throwing breadcrumbs of clues for us to see when we go back to watch earlier episodes after his villainy is revealed. ouat likes to repeat story lines. so Tamara and Walsh will simply be repeated but in big this time. they will bring all the good people back, and… neal is coming baaack!!!!! (hope. hope can be very painful. but still, hope.)
A&E and planning don’t go in the same sentence. I think their plan for the show can be summed as “a show about fairytales” and nothing more.
Anything they did since 3B was not for “the art” but for ratings: fanservice, ships driven, Disney cash grab.

so on my rewatch of season 1, i stumbled across episode 4 with cinderella. I will not even go into all the beautiful parallels (henry jumping out of the back seat just like Neal did etc.) but there was another foreshadowing that I didn’t notice the last time: in the EF Rumple tells cinderella that in order for him to help her go to the ball, she will owe him a favor. favor. weird. that’s exsactly what he wanted. not the baby but a favor. (that emma should have Bae talk to him) that whole episode was an obvious foreshadowing. it was almost babyish. it was so obvious that Rumple KNEW he will be imprisoned by snow and charming etc. Bae/Neal is so big in that show, it is just wow. why oh why did Hook ever come to this beautiful story? why? just to ruin it… by the way my last post was from http://oncereflections.com/rumplestilskinmr-gold-the-real-hero/#.VoSiAtBV_fU.tumblr its from the first season but it is SO WORTH THE READ!!!!!!! oh, yeah, and happy new year
and Hook probably poisoned everyone with love potion from his bottle of rum (which Pan gave him – i said it first)I agree with you and it did went that way in 3A.
Hook had nothing to do on the show after 3A, they force him into the story and ruining other characters in the process. Rumple is the character that suffered the most because of it.

Friendly reminder that SOMEBODY sacrificed himself for the town and his love without being the one to have tried to kill everyone in the first place, and while never claiming to be a hero. I’m a villain and villains don’t get happy endings Xso I heard. Hook sacrificed himself. *roll eyes* this is exactly what I was afraid of after watching “quiet minds”. I was terrified that Hook will be the one to bring back Neal or something noble like that. well, this is alot WORSE! you see, I saw the TV show, and HEARD Rumple call himself a coward, a monster and all sorts of unpleasant names, and at the same time, I SAW Rumple giving his last bit of money to a beggar, save his son from the Ogers war, and give cinderella back her baby in exchange of a “favor”. I also saw him love Belle, and ask August for forgiveness thinking it was his son. and all of this in the first season. it was obvious that Rumple was a much bigger character than just a reformed villian like Regina. and, oh, it was soooooo exciting! that’s why when season 3a came along and we found out more about his father and the suffering he has been through, and then seeing him be the exact opposite of his villain father and make what seemed to be his last sacrifice, the show reached a new level of beautiful. Rumpel’s tragic story was as beautiful as Cora’s karma story. I also saw Hook. I HEARD him call himself a man of honor, with “good form” but at the same time, I SAW him kick a beggar to the ground and hurt an invalid just for fun. so when the fandom suddenly convinced me that Hook is the romantic hero and Neal will leave the show forever… at first I did not believe it. I was laughing at all of you thinking that OF COURSE Neal will come back. when I saw you were right, though. I simply STOPPED watching. and ever since then, I try to unwatch what I saw after pan was defeated. because, as sad as that was, at least it was a good wholesome story. Oh, it was such a heartbreakingly beautiful story…
Yes. Once Upon A Time is season 1-3A. Everything after is just poorly planned and poorly executed fanfic. Whenever I rewatch the show, I always end at 311 right before the redundant “One Year Later” scene.

The problem is that professional critics fan pander the show, they are not critic towards it , they praise and about the fans, are seen as haters that dont like a show bc their ships didnt make it, in fact there is a media that actually said that fans were messing with polls about one episode i think was 510, where teh episode got a F note from fans and the media came to say that teh episode was so good that haters were using informatic ways to mess with the poll. That is one of OUAT problems, the Professional critics dont dare critic the show, dont know if is afraid of going against Disney, or afraid of a portion of fans that are bullies and toxic, in the end that is OUAT thing, fans critics are called haters bc of ships, media cater to ouat and ratings are not that bad( even with the huge drop), bc they dont have competition on that day and hour, so yeah, for all means ouat is a hit.
As for critics, There are some who gives negative criticism when it’s due such as Lily from tv.com, Jenn from Bustle, Meredith from IO9, the podcast in here and Shark Jumping podcast. Lindsay Ellis aka Nostalgia chick said she thinks the show is bad as well. The only biased critics I see are the ones who wants to be on A&E’s good side so they would give them scoops about the show and ones who don’t have any knowledge about film or television so they say that anything that is popular is good, which we know it’s not the case (i.e: Twilight, Fifty Shades of Grey).
As for Fans, it really depends where: from what I understand, in Facebook they delete any comment that criticize the show, G+ mostly has fan made art, twitter mostly has the most extreme fans (both hate and love) but they mostly cares about ships and not actually the story, which is a shame cause that is what Adam and co see the most so I guess that is why the show became very ships driven. Tumbler has a bit of twitter and G+ feeling (hate, love and images). Wiki are mostly children that think the show can do no wrong, but sometimes there people that call the show for what it is and they get the usual “why do you even watch the show” comments. IMO, here are the most objective fans of the show.
