Will Tamara be let in on the truth? Or does she already know?
Horowitz: Tamara met Neal in the real world. They fell in love and got engaged. Now, Neal is caught up in something that no regular person could possibly conceive of. How is she going to react to that? Or not react to that? Is he going to keep it from her? These are the questions we intend to pose, in addition to the more important emotional question: How does this affect Henry’s family, which is now expanded in many, many ways? Tamara is now a wild card thrown in the mix and we’re really excited to show you how it’s all going to play out.

I think this all but confirms that Tamara is NOT a Neverland character, and most likely not a fictional character at all.

Certainly sounds that way. Now I’m wondering if she might be HER after all.

Well, it does seem to rule out Tink or TigerLily, if she really met Neal in the real world. They could still go with her being some kind of realm jumper unbeknownst to Neal or be Tiana. It’s an interesting quote for my pet theory HER though too, so I’m excited by that one. *does the happy Rumple dance* She’s definitely a wildcard.

I am slightly offended that being an emma/neal shipper (which you already have stated you have a bias against) is the sole reason why there’s hate towards Tamara or that it is exclusive to this group. The hate is natural. It happens. It has nothing to do with intolerance or immaturity. Every fan clique has their moments where they say their piece about characters. There’s no need for the eye roll. (: Personally hate like this a par of the course (maybe you’ve been on different type of boards?) when coming to characters (and ones that are being shipped) honestly I have seen it for celebrities as well.

I didn’t know it was against the rules to include an eye roll smilie when posting a comment. And do you have any other explanation as to why there are many rants and slams against the Tamara or the actress who plays here . . . before anyone has a chance to know her character?

In the previous post and this post I interpreted as very condescending. I was simply saying that the emotional response of the eye roll was unnecessary. However if you feel you need to be so aggressive in your rudeness I suppose you have every right. I will have to then dash any modicum of respect I might have had for you and simply ignore you. If you cannot handle any sort of criticism back towards your specific behavior then that is more an issue with you.

Although I still do assert the possibility that you are unfamiliar as to how protective fans can be of their shipping and even extending to celebrities. Yes it can be overwhelming but generally once the emotional response is over generally it’s peaches and cream. You have people espousing hate over a new character, and you have people leaving the board/hating the show because their favorite character is not featured enough. People are passionate about their characters. Then you have those who will literally take a two second glance to solidify the shipping. They are all shades of the same passion. That’s the driving force behind all the immediate knee-jerk reactions.

I am sure you and I are decent posters I simply believe that passionate responses are par of the course that will usually subside as time goes on. However I’ve added my part and my theories and if they are ignored to focus solely on the negative as a way of pointing out a negative as a group as a whole then so be it.

Well welcome to the boards. I will try to be civil from here on out and suspect that our crossing paths will be limited. (:

playarita, I think you are an absolute sweetheart! I don’t think you need to bother responding to that new poster in future, since they seem to be purposefully trolling on this thread. They start out with post about intolerence that does nothing but spew their own intolerance and ends with an inflammatory comment that is designed to provoke Swanfire/Neal fans. When someone is offended, which was the intention of their first post, the troll attacks them with a condescending response to ensure further replies. It’s textbook troll behavior trying to incite a flame war. It just doesn’t really work around here since this is a friendly community even with our diverse ship tastes. *hugs*

Rumple Love, hope you’re back to full worldliness soon, but you are more than welcome to ramble at me as much as you want in the meantime. I like your posts! They aren’t full of nothingness.

The people inside Storybrooke weren’t the only ones robbed of their happy endings by the curse. Emma and Neal were robbed of their happy ending and their family scattered by the curse just as surely as the Charmings, Cinderella, etc. The people who have been freed from the curse are fighting to take back their happy endings. I want to see Emma and Neal do the same. Anything less is unsatisfying narrative for me in a story about hope for a happy ever after. Emma and Neal are fairytale characters in their own right. Ugly Duckling x probably Baefire Pan. Emma has made the biggest sacrifices and deserves a fantastic ending rather than settling for something less.

If Nealfire is Pan, he won’t call Hook a codfish. He’ll probably call him a bowl of soup.

If Neal is Peter Pan I’d really love to see him commenting, “Where did they come up with this green tights crap?”

He didn’t just knock Emma down. He flung her face first into the wall in his rush to stab Rumple. He earned this particular braining. 😆

Felt bad for Henry when Rumple shot him down. I fear the Tamara reveal will comes at the worst time. I’m really excited for the episode after this promo in particular, and Neal calling Rumple “Papa” got me right in the feels.

Well, Charming actually watched Rumple buy kidnapping supplies in Skin Deep. Not exactly sheriff material from the start.

Loved the promos! Wonder if Emma is taking Rumple up on his advice only to discover about the fiancee thing later.

I wince everytime I see Hook fling Emma into the wall. Love how she comes right back with the umbrella stand. Cora or Regina probably healed Hook’s ribs when he was helping them.

I wonder if the thing Henry does that he’s never done before is as simple as calling Rumple “Grandpa” for the first time.

I loves me some Shang! “You fight good.”

She’s not Disney but Baba Yaga would be freaking amazing. In tales sometimes she’s the villain and other times she helps the hero, so she’d be a terrific grey character.

Aladdin, Tarzan, and Ariel would all be good.

Some great discussions and insights here to comment on later.

Something to pass along real fast. Someone on tumblr mentioned earlier that since Neal and Emma were living in that little yellow car there’s a reasonably high liklihood that Henry was conceived in there. And Emma’s kept it for eleven years. Hadn’t thought of that before, so it made me grin.

I keep remembering the Cinderella episode when Emma passionately said that some people only had the back of a car(in which to raise a baby). In retrospect one has to wonder how many times she’d dreamed about what it would have been like to raise Henry with Neal in even in that little car.
