ParticipantGreat promo. Loved how they were telegraphing this in Manhattan tonight. Neal telling Rumple how every night for longer than Rumple could imagine the last thing he’d seen before falling asleep was Rumple abandoning him. Hundreds of years in Neverland fits the bill for the amount of time he was talking about.

ParticipantMaybe the TLK that saves Rumple is from family like when Emma saved Henry with TLK. Henry could come to love Grandpastiltskin or restore Bae’s love. Or Henry could help restore Belle’s memory somehow.

ParticipantFavorite:
Rumple and Bae finally meeting and talking. I love both actors and think they nailed it! Very emotional, and no matter how many times Rumple has rehearsed what he would say it was still difficult and filled with desperate, stumbling attempts from him. Neal’s anger and disbelief felt extremely natural.Emma/Neal/Henry/Rumple interaction. Every combination of those characters together in this ep was brilliant. Even the little touches like Neal telling Emma that she could keep yelling at him in the bar, Gold getting suspicious over the dreamcatcher, Neal putting his arm around his son for the first time… just amazing work.
The Seer. So creepy looking, and the prophecy info was great and filled with plenty to speculate on. And Rumple smashing his leg was cringeworthy in the good way.
Snow and David discussing the family tree and sucky Thanksgivings. lol
Least Favorite:
Greg spying with his phone.
The map location being in Belle’s purse.
I’d have liked something a bit more in the box reveal with August, but it worked well enough to get the job done.

ParticipantThose people on tumblr must not have been paying attention to the grin on Neal’s face when he first saw Emma and called out her name.

ParticipantI also had the impression that Henry could be the one to undo Rumple’s curse. I suppose on the grim side it could also be that Henry is the reason Regina is teaming up with Cora to go after Rumple’s dagger. I can’t imagine that Rumple would still try to kill him knowing tha Henry is Bae’s son. That would permanently destroy his relationship with Bae.

ParticipantLove how Neal noticed the keychain around her neck too. He might believe her line about keeping it to remind herself not to trust, but how will she explain the car? She actually still loves him too. Love how he went to protect her from Rumple, and the ‘bad impression’ that they were talking about in the spoilers was Rumple threatening Emma.

ParticipantAdd another vote for Gold. He’s a fascinating figure who has so many facets to his character. He’s been one of my favorite characters since the series started, and Robert Carlyle is amazing. The man needs no words to convey even the most complex emotions. Plus, I’m a Rumbeller.

ParticipantYeah, they’ve definitely made it sound like we should have a box of tissues on hand. The suspense is killing me here.
I agree that this thread should probably be moved since we’re really more of a Neal and SwanThief thread than a Tallahassee specific thread.

I think it will be the opposite as Emma hasn’t really been good in any relationships, and Snow holds her grounded remember last year when Emma tried to leave town with Henry? MM straightern her out real quick so I think Emma will need more of that since I don’t think Emma can handle both Neil and Henry at the same time plus fighting Cora and Regina. in my humble opinion.
Agreed. Plus, in season 1 Emma told Snow that Henry’s father was no hero and that Henry didn’t need to know the truth. Snow will probably be initially worried on multiple levels. That conversation and Rumple as Neal’s dad are probably both bad starts. When she hears the rest of the story she’ll probably really want to guide Emma to help her daughter and family. Should be interesting to see the Charmings’ first meeting with Neal.
So excited for Sunday. It’s going to be a rollercoaster of an episode, isn’t it?

ParticipantGreat suggestions! Don’t forget:
Phantom of the Opera
or
Hunchback of Notre Dame
Those would both work in LWC too.
