ParticipantHook wouldn’t need to yell. There’s lots of science to solve the problem. Like cell phones.

Snow says to disguised Regina that in her mind the Queen was in too much pain and looking for someone to blame. The she sees the bodies and changes her mind. Yet we know she changes her mind back again at the scene in the Cricket Game flashback, where Regina was about to be executed.
So now I wonder this–what made her change her mind back? What good did she see in Regina after the village slaughter?
I think Snow was acting in the passion of the moment when she expressed her horror and anger over the atrocity that Regina had just commited. She had every reason and right to feel sick at the slaughter.
Over time when her initial anger had a chance to cool, I think Snow realized that Regina had been following Snow with every opportunity to plant the sword that Snow had given Regina into Snow’s back… but something had stopped her. For a brief while, Snow had connected with the woman that Regina once was. She’d have realized that the woman Snow had once loved like a mother was actually still in there after the atrocity and had been responding to love.
In a sense it’s like they’ve been playing tag with which one of them thinks Regina is irredeemable. Snow thinks Regina is iredeemable this time. Regina had committed herself to being irredeemable after being spared the arrows. Snow believes Regina isn’t capable of changing back after the curse is broken. The show is in danger of muddying the waters if they go for too much back and forth on this though.
After this episode at least we can understand why Regina thought Snow was going to let her back into her family after the well incident. “Here! I did the right thing! I saved you! Can we go to family dinner now?” LOL Though we can still understand why Snow didn’t as well.
For some fans they may feel this is a slippery slope for these two characters. I have my worries about it. I think the performances were worth the risk in storytelling this time, and I think they could go somewhere good with it all. Especially with Snow trying to fix her own heart. It gives her a whole new perspective about the world. They just have to be really cautious of keeping their morality straight, not villifying Snow to make Regina more redeemable, and getting Regina’s delusional head out of her cute derrier.

ParticipantCursed Apple, I think Regina genuinely wanted to find forgiveness and family with Snow in those moments.

ParticipantSo this is probably our entire week’s worth of sneak peeks all in one go, but what a way to go!
Bae in London stealing bread to eat. 😥 Someone looking Peter like was leading Wendy and Bae to NL in the other promo, so I’m quite curious about that.
Rumple giving Whale the foot until Neal intervenes and the ensuing arguement was fantastic. And if Neal was really only there for Henry, he wouldn’t be angry at Rumple for not seeking him out to spend time with him. He still loves his papa.
Greg and Tamara remind me of two monkeys playing with an A-bomb while holding the trigger gem. That is just all kinds of dangerous.
Regina calling Hook out on not even knowing who he’s working for and how it’s not worth it, and the look on his face says he knows she’s right. He beat it out of there real fast before the torture could start. That’s not his bag baby.
I really do want to know where Kurt is.

ParticipantFavorites:
Swanfire! “Oh, h*** no. I taught her that! Emma!” And Henry wants to go live in a castle with Emma and Neal. I was flailing incoherently.
All the Operation Mantis and stakeout bits, and sneaky Henry is great!
The PirateQueen bits! — They gave me more than I was expecting, and his expressions when Regina and Greg are talking and Greg admits that finding his father isn’t really his mission. Very interesting.
Snow and Regina coming so close to making amends! Snow talking about the rescue and hoping that person comes back, and her saying that there was still good in Regina… until she saw the villagers. So good and so sad. That section was probably my favorite of the night.
Rumple and Regina! Those scenes are just fun to watch.
Maleficent. Oh please don’t be dead… again! She was nicely scary looking.
I have no dislikes this week. It was all good for me.

ParticipantAnd we’re at the 2 hour mark. Why can’t I make the hands on the clock move faster?!

It sounds like he knows her. How is that possible?
Since Maleficent and Regina were sorta friends, Maleficent could have been the one to tell Hook that Regina had Belle. Very few people would know something like that. Maybe that could be the betrayal that caused Regina to trap Maleficent in dragon form.
Interesting theory. I’m excited for this Hook/Regina adventure.
I expect it to be very uneasy alliance at this point. Can’t wait to see this though.
Remembering back Regina told Hook that he was the first person to make it alive past all her defenses. Did he have inside info or magic from Maleficent to help him? The possibilities make my head spin. In a good way. 😉

ParticipantIs it wrong that hearing Hook address Maleficent has me bouncing up and down in my chair? Her dragon form might yet live. Please. Please. Please.

ParticipantHmmm…. so Rumple potentially blocked her magic when he turned her into a peasant? Then Snow sets about nursing the Evil Queen back to health after Regina gets herself lynched? Could be an interesting price involved in all this. Good call on that.
The Hook quote is pretty interesting too. Guess, he’s more of a kill ’em and done rather than a spend 28 years watching them suffer in a small town in Maine kind of guy. ❓
