K&H would be brave to make EvilHook a thing at this point in time. The rather large community of CaptainSwan shippers would be rather unhappy if he was instead paired up with Henry’s other mother.
Scruffy Irishmen are Regina’s type though. 😉
I was drinking my soda and almost choked laughing at the scruffy Irishmen comment. Too true! Everyone loves a scruffy Irishman.
TVLINE | Oh, so she gets a handsome companion as part of the deal. That works out well.
Like I said, some things never change with her.
Hehehe. Yeah, even Lana knows Regina has a thing for scruffy Irishmen.
I don’t expect to see any hookups on either PirateQueen or CaptainSwan just yet. If Hook and Regina happened, I suppose all 5 of us who ship it might have to turn off our anons and pms for a bit. I’m having flashbacks to 300 now. 😆
Enjoyed that interview. Especially the parts about working with Barbara Hershey. Not sure why Regina needs Hook to get the beans. Maybe the ones she got aren’t ripe, and she wants him to infiltrate clan Charmingstiltskin to get ones that are ripe before the field can be destroyed to stop her following or something.

So I find that I’m really confused about this failsafe. What is it, exactly? Did Rumple write it into the Curse. Did Regina adapt the Curse with this fail safe?
Excellent questions. I’m wondering if the failsafe is activated magically, or if there is something physical that must be done. (maybe related to Maleficent) Using Hook to do dangerous physical jobs sounds like a reason Regina would ally with him at least temporarily.

Maybe the spell didn’t work on Henry or maybe Emma see Regina doing this and walks up in the middle of it ❓
I think that Tamara/Greg needed Hook for his ship only, but get the beans instead after shocking Regina so they ditch Hook because they don’t need him now.
In regards to Regina perhaps her deal was the same thing using the beans but plays Hook telling him how she can get rid of everyone including Gold with her plan but forgets to tell him that she will be getting rid of him too at the same time. 😉
In the clip it looked like Regina was already done casting the spell on Henry. She waved her hand in front of his face. His eyes went glazed. Regina was tucking the spellbook away. There is the chance that Emma could walk up next, but most likely she’d just be angry at Regina for being around Henry without knowing what Regina had just done. It went really fast.

ParticipantI also enjoyed the bit where Henry asked, “Why would you even tell me this?” (As we all have.) And Regina basically tells him that she has no one else to talk to. 😆

ParticipantVery interesring. Looks like Regina’s taken a page out of Cora’s book on parenting. Thanks for posting the extended clip!

ParticipantLike I said. My problem isn’t with David’s options. There aren’t lots of great answers for how to deal with Regina. I know his choices kinda suck. It’s the fact that he wants to basically TELL Regina, “Here’s your choices, a rock and a hard place.” He’s giving her a choice of two prisons. Literally. And either choice plays into her fear of having her “son” taken away from her. When you back any human into a desperate situation, they do dangerous and crazy things to get out of that situation. No matter what the eventual outcome is, this is just not a smart way of dealing with anyone.
If somebody told Rumple, “You can either spend your life in prison in the EF, where Bae can visit you when we let him, or in prison in SB alone forever,” they shouldn’t be too surprised if he turns them into a pig, or a snail, or beats them with his cane.

Adam and Eddy said on the ABC Podcast (this week) that Henry was cursed! I was shocked because I hadn’t heard that at all! I’ve been operating on the assumption that Henry grew up the only “normal” kid in Storybrooke. They said he was under a haze just like everyone else. So the book must have been what startled him out of it. WOW- would Regina wipe out Henry’s real memories? That would be so cruel and awful. But it would accomplish what she wants – to have everything: Henry all to herself. This is pretty scary.
I wonder how the book exactly startled him out of it. It didn’t affect Emma until she already believed. Mary Margaret would have to handle the book to give it to him, and she handled it plenty after that. Obviously she wasn’t ready to believe. I wonder what specifically made Henry ready to believe. They could take that somewhere interesting in the show.

The problem isn’t David wanting to neutralize her threat. It’s that he thinks giving her those particular options as a choice is going to work instead of just inciting her. I’d be more down with him just planning to leave SB with everyone and not telling her.
The problem with this is Regina will find a way to get back to FL if left behind, what is that saying keep your enemies closer 🙂
Knocking her out and sticking her in Rumple’s cell before she wakes works too. It’s just giving her two bad choices and thinking she won’t go into Evil Queen mode is not well thought out. That’s the part that I keep having trouble with. David just isn’t the brightest bulb in the box, imo.

Greg I can understand his need for wanting to go after Regina but to want to harm peaceful people who has never done anything to him makes no sense to me at all.
Greg could conceivably blame the whole town. He knew that Regina and Graham were the individuals who took Kurt, but he could easily extend that blame to the townsfolk and magic in general. Since he’s been there the town has kinda closed ranks around him, such as Ruby’s reaction to him. He could view it as a conspiracy or just believe that magic itself corrupts and leads to misery. Thus he wants to eradicate all traces of it.
Every one is kind of down on David but what would you do abourt Regina? They have given her a lot of chances and each time Regina wants to kill them besides in another 8 or 7 years Henry will be grown up so what will Regina do then?
