In Storybrooke, Keith remembers his true identity whereas Belle doesn’t and he’s still sniffing around her. Lacey is more receptive to his advances but she’s not Belle.
In my opinion, Keith is knowingly trying to take advantage of Belle when she is unable to truly give consent.
Keith was only apologising to Rumple because he got caught.
I was going back and forth on this line of thought last night too, but after rewatching I don’t think he knew that she doesn’t have her memories. When he said he’d had his eye on her for a while, he said it to Lacey. He was clearly trying to chat her up, and her response didn’t give away the fact that she didn’t remember their meeting in Sherwood.
Keith: “I’ve had my eye on you for awhile.”
Lacey: “Thank you! Not my type.”
Keith: “Well you never know unless you give it a try.”
We can’t clearly hear the rest of the exchange, but there is no awkward body language as though anything were said that seemed abnormal to either party. So I’d just put that down to a failed pickup attempt at a bar.
He doesn’t know that she’s on a date with Rumple with the makeout session. To say she wasn’t rejecting his advances is a bit of an understatement. Rumple even says to her: “You came out here because you wanted to be with him.” To which Lacey replies, “Yeah.”
Keith tracks Rumple down to apologize for making out with his date and refers to him as Mr. Gold.
Keith: “Mr Gold, I-I’m so sorry about what happened back there. I-I-I didn’t know that you two were still together.”
Rumple: “We’re not.”
Keith: *absorbs info followed by relieved laughter* “So we’re good then. Right?” *offers handshake* “There’s no hard feelings.”
Then Rumple magics out his tongue and goes all cane happy on him.
Keith never acts like he knows that Lacey doesn’t remember her past, because that would be a whole bigger reason for him to fear Rumple’s wrath. Him thinking things are okay between them further suggests that he is clueless. He’s just treating Rumple like the scary ex-boyfriend rather than someone whose ex he was trying to take advantage of. He stupidly thinks Lacey simply picked him over Gold.
Sherwood isn’t EF, so he quite possibly doesn’t associate with folks who knew her as Belle. He doesn’t even learn her real name in the flashback. With everyone using their SB names, there’s plenty of reason to think that he really didn’t know that Lacey didn’t remember anything. She might even have contacted him to get him there to make out with her. Makes more sense than him randomly walking by Granny’s to seduce someone he didn’t know was there on a date.

By bringing out his dark side, Rumple is showing Belle “the man she fell in love with”. Rumple is following Charming’s advice though it’s probably not what Charming was expecting.
Very true. I’m very curious as to what parts of Belle are in Lacey’s personality. It should be interesting to see what Dark One style Rumple brings out in her.
Why am I suddenly having humorous visions of Rumple making deals with folks all over town that if they’ll let him beat them up he’ll owe them a favor? *shakes head*

ParticipantYeah, that scene Neal x Emma scene was all about the Swanfire feels for me too. Very cool that the scene can appeal to other shipping camps as well. Good writing.
And I loved the scene of Rumple giving Belle the library. Like I said before, I loved all of their EF scenes.
Anyhow, here’s a little detail that I noticed that tore my little Rumbeller heart out in a good way:
Rumple is sleeping on Belle’s side of the bed when he has his nightmare! *sigh* It’s the little things that really get me sometimes. Don’t know why, but it just does. Also, her nightmare was in episode 4, and his was in the 4th episode from the end.

There are some showing Whale on the ground, others with Neal, and a transcript of the lines that people heard while they were filming the scene.

ParticipantThe Rumbelle from EF was great and often adorable. (Loved their first hug!) So that was lots of fun to watch. I also loved him and Belle back at the hospital, and I thought the beginning of their date was cute. Granny’s line about raiding Ruby’s closet is classic!
I loved the Swanfire family scenes! Neal and Emma getting to have a bit of heartfelt conversation was lovely, and Henry having a wonderful day with his dad warms my heart to no end. I loved that after finding out about the beans and Charming’s plan to return to the EF, Emma asks how Neal feels about the possibility of returning home. She wants Neal and Henry happy and seperating them would be horrible. Plus, when Charming hinted that maybe back home Emma could have her happy ending, I’m sure Emma’s idea of her happy ending includes Neal. <3
Loved Rumple’s nightmare at the beginning of the episode. It reminded me of Belle’s nightmare in The Crocodile. Set in the shop, sweet moment turns awful when Rumple acts like a monster in front of loved ones, shared fear that Rumple is truly a monster, dreamer jerks awake alone in Rumple’s bed. The scenes make nice bookends to eachother.
The Rumple and Charming moments are great fun for me. It’s moments of the bromance I’ve always wanted between them. Grandpa bromance is the best!
On the not so favorite front:
Lacey loving Rumple’s dark side is sooooooooooooooo disturbing. I give them credit for not shying away from such a dark plotline with such a beloved character (particularly for those of us who LOVE the Disney film). It still scares me to no end to think about where this is headed and how Rumple can possibly avert disaster for both himself and Belle. I think it was meant to be highly disturbing and that it was really well done. Still, that means it’s highly disturbing. While the Sheriff of Nottingham is a pig, I don’t think he deserved such a vicious beating. We have no reason to believe that he knew the facts about Belle/Lacey. The bar owner doesn’t know her true identity. The flashback didn’t show the Sheriff learning Belle’s name, so it’s reasonable that he stupidly believed that she wasn’t with Rumple and just wanted to make out with him. He did try to apologize before Rumple flipped his lid. It’s even worse that the woman who initiated making out with him in the parking lot starts rousing Rumple to beat the guy for her amusement. I fear this is going to become a pattern for Rumple/Lacey.
Regina sure picked a perfect revenge to help Rumple backslide. Neal will be seriously furious. Well done, but very hard to watch. I need chocolate and adorable fics/vids for Rumbelle and Swanfire after tonight’s episode. A couple margaritas might help too. Lacey is going to have us all drinking huge glasses of wine and licking up the drips from the top of the bottle! LOL

ParticipantWhile Henry could become a Pan, I don’t see him as THE Peter Pan. Peter Pan as the boy who never grows up is a long time role. Bae spent potentially a couple centuries there, so that could fit. I don’t see Henry as potentially spending enough time in NL or as Pan to become THE Peter Pan. How long do you think Emma and co. are going to be searching for him? Without someone being in the role at least a couple centuries it will just never fit in my mind.

I thought it was confirmed by the writers that Henry is the boy the seer prophesised about?
Tamara has to have some form of relationship with magic, enough to believe that it is real and exists in a world that considers it to be fiction. Why else would she travel round the world trying to find it?
I think her grandmother is significant somehow because of the picture of Tamara with her grandmother. With all the teases we’ve had about Oz this season, I wonder if Tamara’s grandmother may have some connection to Oz. Perhaps as Dorothy or maybe even one of the wicked witches who could have been banished?
I’ve been thinking there’s an Oz connection too. My first thought was Grandma, but now my thought is that Tamara’s mom was Dorothy (New York, seventies, The Wiz), but something happened to her later because of magic and Grandma had to raise Tamara. Both of them losing her would explain the closeness between Tamara and her grandma to me. I was thinking the significance of the picture might be that there is no mother in it with them. Depending on what happened to Dorothy Tamara could have a real axe to grind.

I had long suspected that Tamara was HER and I thought she was probably playing Greg until I saw their interaction last night. Now I think they’re both devious and up to something.
Yeah. I’ve been saying it since Feb, before she’d even appeared on the show, so we’ve had a pretty good run on that theory. 😆 How weird is it that I really do like her as a villian now that it’s been revealed? I hate love triangles, so it’s a huge relief to me that she’s got more to contribute to the plot than just the other leg of a love triangle. Discovering her agenda seems like it could be really interesting.
Been going over some of the old posts on the Tamara Is… thread, and it’s rather fun to see how theories on her have evolved since she was first announced.

Is Tamara playing both Neal and Greg? I imagine Greg and Tamara found each other due to their fascination with magic. But I do not trust Tamara at all!
LOL No worries! Cone join us! That Barbara Bennet spoiler summery kinda threw a wrench in everyone’s theory base, so lots of folks expected Her to be unimporrant.
Very curious whether Tamara is playing Greg too. I could go eiher way on that one.

Blue who just pops up out of nowhere (seriously, what was that….)
If Tamara was born here OR raised here then it would make sense that Blue didn’t recognize her. We know fairies have helped people escape FTL before (Bae for instance). So maybe Blue or another fairy helped Tamara’s grandmother and an infant Tamara escape FTL.
Kinda like a Grandma can’t bear to stay their after Rumple killed her daughter thing? That would put it around 9 months before the curse was enacted. So if the fairies could do that for Granny and Tamara, we need a reason why only Grandma and Tamara would be sent here instead of saving everyone who was shortly to be cursed. A previous magical tree that Blue could use for a test run? But if she needed Gepetto to carve the wardrobe for Emma’s trip, she’d still need someone to fashion this tree.
