I thought this too, but then i thought that he would no longer be Captain Hook because his Hook is important for his character, its pretty much what makes him Captain Hook -unless he just goes back to Killian Jones.
In past fairytale land (i cant remember the episode, its the one where Rumple takes Belle to his castle), you can see in a scene a hand on a table behind Rumple. It could be Hook’s hand. Maybe he kept it for motivation to find Baelfire.
I think though for Hook to drop his revenge would take a much bigger deal, because he has been planning it for years.

Huntsman was able to defie EQ in FTL when he helped Charming escape. Later he fell for Emma and remembered his past life despite not having a heart. I think Aurora can maintain some of her own humanity despite Cora and thus help Snow and Emma. I can only HOPE.

Thats true. But isnt Cora more powerful than Regina? I’m not sure if the amount of power the person has impacts on their control of the person, but it might.
Do you think that maybe Lancelot will come back in this episode? Because we havent heard anything from him and we dont know for sure if hes really dead.

I never thought of that. Didn’t Emma break the curse though because she was the saviour and the ‘product of the magic’? I think it’s possible, but I don’t think the writers will make it as simple as that. They want to drag this out for as long as they can. And once the barrier is broken I think most of the SB residents will probably leave.
But I’m all for King George being the tester, I hate him almost as much as Cora.

I’m really confused with Hook taking Aurora’s heart. Because the producers stated that Hook doesn’t have magic when he was introduced. This is what makes me question that there is something else to it. Unless they’re just contradicting themselves..

I doubt Captain Hook will forget about his revenge. He has worked on this for centuries. Not even Emma could make him forget.

Obviously he wouldnt ‘forget’ about it straight away. But overtime his attraction for Emma will become stronger. And it has already been confirmed she will distract him from his revenge. Im thinking that something will happen to Emma which will make Hook realise his true feelings for her, and that would make him realise that he has to move on. Hook will probably never forget what Rumple did, and would probably never forgive him, but i think that Emma will open up those feelings that he thought he would never feel after Milah.

After all, this is Once Upon a Time, anything is possible!

Don’t worry, because i want him to stay too and im definately not worried. The producers, cast, writers, everyone knows that many fans love Hook and the idea of Hook and Emma. I think the writers will try to throw us off because it is so obvious that he will stay on the show. I agree- Colin has done an amazing job. But just because other characters were killed doesn’t mean he will be.
What i think might happen at the end of the season is they will put Hooks life in danger just before the episode ends, which makes fans question whether or not he has survived (which i think he would). That would be a pretty intense cliff hanger which is what the show is good at. But dont worry because the writers respond to the viewers reactions and opinions, and they ALL know how much we love Hook!
Also there is so much to explore with Hook which would definately take more than half a season.

There was another tweet of hers where someone mentions that the ‘Captain Swan’ is “killing me” and she replies:
“Keep watching on the Swan front, you might be surprised at what happens”

Hook is very unpredictable character, I’m really hoping he does help Emma which, from the tweets and interviews, looks like he will.

When I saw Emma locked in the cell and Hook get up close to her my first thought is that he slipped her something to help her escape

I thought that too, and in the background you can see Cora and it looks like shes watching him intently. This means that she doesnt trust him and she knows of hes feelings towards Emma and knows that he will most likely do something to help her.

also as the bars go down, you can see Hook who looks like he cant even look at Emma. Theres a reason he is looking like that and is fiddling with his Hook. The directors have a purpose for where the charcaters stand and theres a reason he is fiddlng with his Hook, because i have only ever seen him do that once- when Cora controlling Aurora. You may think im stupid and over analysing this, but i think its the small things that really show how the characters are feeling. So the guilt may further motivate him to help Emma.

I think Hook did love Milah, but i think Milah loved Hook’s adventures and thats what made her stay with him. Jane (one of the writers) stated that people ‘have the capacity to love more than once…even in fairytale land”. So im thinking that Milah was never his TRUE love. I think Emma is his true love because they’re the perfect match. In a way, i think they complete each other- Emma keeps Hook in line, and Hook brings Emma out of her shell.

Hook if by far my favourite character! I love how he is unpredictable, and i LOVE the build up between him and Emma. Colin is an amazing actor. Hook has made me love this show even more!

I agree that he will probably go after Belle, however i’m not convinced that his capable of ripping out hearts. We dont know what exactly happened with Auroras heart. Maybe Malificent took Auroras heart and Hook found it- we all know Hook is dishonest, especially with Cora, he would say anything to save his own skin. I just dont think hes capable of that, especially after what happened with Milah. The writers try to throw us off and make us think one thing but then something completely different happens. So i think this is one of those moments.
If he doesn’t go after Belle, i think he will look for the dagger as AntBee said. Because the tattoo does look like the dagger. But i dont think they will kill Rumple or Belle or even Hook because their major charcacters now, and many fans will be dissappointed. It’ll be interesting to see how the writers will do this without killing the characters.
