Perhaps Archie should set up a magic anonymous support group.

Rumpel was very interested in a pair of slippers that Jefferson said had already been transported to a land to which Rumpel wanted to go. I believe these were Dorothy’s ruby slippers, which she used to travel between the Land of Oz and our world.
I don’t know why, but I thought of cinderella. 😳 this makes a lot more sense! awesome.

Yeah, I read that book earlier this year. William and Henry Clerval were both killed by the monster, and Ernest was the only one that survived in the novel. Maybe they’re going to take all three of those characters and combine them? Or they could create an entirely new character. Honestly, they could go anywhere with this. I only have one real based-on-the-book theory/question. Are we going to see Dr. Frankenstein’s wife? In the book, they had grown up together and he married her after he created the monster. Then the monster murdered her that very night. I’m kind of hoping that in Once he will have a wife and we’ll get to see her, but whether or not she’s still alive is completely up in the air.
hmmm. I’d do an inner happy jig if we see victor fall in love, and her name happens to be elizabeth. *Correct* myth and book nods always make me happy.
belle-fireParticipantI loved seeing emma and snow co-awesoming. I felt really bad for young regina, rumple seemed particularly cruel, even if it was all for a purpose. I am once again in awe at the sheer length and complexity rumple puts into his plots: teaching cora, ‘saving’ regina from cora, tutoring regina, purposefully dashing her hopes to push her off the edge and keep her reason for hating snow (how many times has he kept regina from satisfying her revenge, by keeping snow charming together etc.) just to have someone to release the curse, ALL to get back to his son. immense. Snarky jefferson was awesome. I celebrated the victor-y of the frankenstein theory. It was just amazing to have all types and people of power- rumple, regina, frankenstein, and jefferson all in the same room. When daniel came back, I really enjoyed their one second of joy, it was one of the least cop-out ways of bringing someone back, and specifically because shows that bring people back from the dead end up jumping the shark, I was (sorry) a bit relieved when he died again. It was important for regina to let go. Rambling, so I’ll stop, but I think this was a good episode.
belle-fireParticipantIn the book, Victor has two brothers. william is more emphasized than ernest. william is killed by the monster (but he’s 5 years old) They could change the tale and make william older, and change his death cause (maybe victor accidentally killed him with his experiments and wants to bring him back?).
Other than that, there’s Henry Clerval, Victor’s best friend. I could see the writers changing it to ‘brother’.
Those are my two based-off-the-book theories. I am curious.belle-fireParticipantMy heart died when: 1. Rumple was an idiot and didn’t tell belle why he needed magic. It’s not like ‘to find my son’ is very incriminating. 2. When belle said ‘i don’t want to see you’, as a hardcore rumbelle shipper, I got seriously scared.
Luckily- one of the best moments- he came clean in the end and they made up.
another great moment- the promo for the next episode!belle-fireParticipantAs of the new promo, the frankenstein is practically confirmed! Victor-y!
belle-fireParticipantVictor-y for the frankenstein theory!

I love your name Belle-Fire! Wish I had thought of it!
Thanks! I wanted to make a pun of rumbelle (favorite pairing) and bealfire, and was thinking ‘rumbellefire’, but for some reason thought that could be misinterpreted. I also nixed just bellefire without the dash, because i didn’t want people assuming i misspelled baelfire. somehow i did not consider people might mistake it for me shipping baelfire and belle. Luckily, it seems no one has, and I like the name.
But, sorry for rambling, my point is i’m glad you like it.belle-fireParticipantIn the story, the gingerbread man escapes all of his pursuers. Since the curse flips everything, He is cursed to be eternally ‘chasing’ in a metaphorical sense, so he constantly tries (and fails) to ‘catch’ himself a date. His pride and arrogant personality (you can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!) remain.
