December 6, 2016 at 12:55 am in reply to: 6 X 10 WISH YOU WERE HERE – What were your favorite and least favorite moments #331349BelleOfTheBallParticipant
The logical inconsistency- If Bae was around to have Henry with Emma (Glad they didn’t forget him) then why would Rumple still need the dark curse? Its original purpose was to get him to the land with out magic so he could find Bae.
So I kind of made up my own theory to go with this since i don’t think we will get an explanation from the writers:
Everything up until the Dark Curse remained the same. So, WISH Bae still took the bean to The Land Without Magic, went to the Darlings, and then went to Neverland. This would lead WISH Rumple to think that his son still traveled to TLWM, which would make him pursue the Dark Curse (as we know he did in real life). Now as far as I can remember we didn’t get an exact date or time that Bae traveled from Neverland to a Land Without Magic. I always assumed he was around the same age as Emma, and he was at least 8 or 9 in Neverland, which means Emma would have had to grow up in TLWM a few years before Bae technically escaped Neverland so they would be closer in “age” (ignoring the fact that Bae is actually centuries old). So, in this theory, that does not put WISH Bae in TLWM at the exact time the curse is supposed to be enacted (he would have still been in Neverland). Meaning, WISH Rumple would still be perusing the dark curse to try to get to the land he believes his son traveled to, just as he did in the real timeline. So even though WISH EQRegina was defeated and the dark curse was never enacted, WISh Rumple was still trying to pursue the idea.
Now, how WISH Bae ended up back in the enchanted forest instead of in TLWM world is just a guessing game. My best guess is that the Shadow just took him anywhere Emma was, since they were fated to be together to produce the Heart of the Truest Believer and we all know Pan was waiting for Henry. And his death in Wish land? Probably died in a battle of some kind before Henry was born? Slaying a dragon or something? I dont know, again a guessing game. And unfortunately, answers we probably wont ever get.
But this is how I explained the whole thing in my head. Of course there are some loopholes, like Rumple being a seer. But what is a Once theory without a few loopholes, right?

LOL yes. Though addressed seems to mostly be “Merida captures Arthur and goes through inexplicable door!” But yeah, sure. It’s being addressed, props for that.
oh yeah, I forgot about Merida too. Thank goodness there are so many ways to travel between worlds these days… -_-

BelleOfTheBallParticipantMy initial reaction was “so are we just redeeming everyone now?”
i think this episode was wonderful. The family bonding was great. And it’s fantastic that Cora reunited her daughters and set things right. However, before this moment I am not sure when the last time this woman did a reasonable thing was! Just because she did one nice thing suddenly she is redeemed? This doesn’t sit right with me. I actually was relieved when I saw the fire coming up, then the light appeared and I think my jaw dropped. I think she deserved to move on, I’m just not sure she deserved a happily ever after because she did one nice thing in the last moments of her evil life.
BelleOfTheBallParticipantPAN IS BACK!! Seriously, since 5b’s premiere I have been waiting to see him again. Pan is my favorite villain! I know that Pan capturing Hades’ sweetheart can’t bode well for him… But I’m just so happy to see Robbie again I just don’t care!
I wonder if Hades can only see what’s going on in town in the moment if he knows where to look. The forest is so large he may have not been able to pin point an area where Robin was hiding. Places like the Charming’s apartment or Zelenas house are specific points he can look into because he knows exactly where they are. Kinda like a gps? So perhaps if Zelina is missing and he doesn’t know where to look for her exactly it won’t be so easy to find her location.
BelleOfTheBallParticipantOkay, that makes more sense. Thank you!
BelleOfTheBallParticipantSo this whole growth and decay thing has me very confused and I would love some help understanding. In the previous episode, Hades said something along the lines of “despite my best efforts I cannot get anything to grow here. Things only decay here”. In this episode, however, Hades finds a flower growing and is determined to make it decay. This seems a bit backwards to me as his statement from last week seems almost ashamed or disappointed that things can only decay in his world; yet when flowers begin to grow there he must stop the “hope”.
It just doesn’t add up for me. I don’t understand Hades, his goal, or his motivations. Any insight would be much appreciated!
BelleOfTheBallParticipantIs it bad that I am sort of excited that next week is the winter finale because I’ll get a break from this nonsense? I love the show, but what even happened to this season? I was very positive about the beginning and it quickly diminished.

There were so many things wrong with it that I just couldn’t get past that seeing the storyline beneath was very difficult.
Liked:
– The first Hook and Emma moment where Emma helped Hook make DO Head Rumple disappear. It was very sweet to see how powerful they can be together. (Note: This is the ONLY Hook and Emma moment I liked this episode… which is very odd for me as I do ship Captain Swan)
– Zelina in the hospital. “You are just doing your job. Poorly, but you are doing it”. They are writing her so much better lately, and I really went from despising her character to not minding her all that much.
– Robin and Regina welcoming Zelina into the family (a little) and not just keeping her from her child. Mainly, thank you writers for not making it a blood battle to see who gets to be mother.
– DO head Rumple’s little “hi…” like he knew Hook would not be happy to see him. I laughed.
– Emma and Henry finally together again. Thank goodness.
– Snow telling Charming to wake up and stop being hypocritical that they would have done the exact same thing as Emma.
Disliked
– So this was a big pet peeve of mine during the episode. Throughout the series (Season 1 especially) Snow and Charming saw the best in everyone. They chose to trust people. They chose to see the good past the evil. Even when EQ Regina was after Snow she chose to see the best in her and remember the woman she was when she rescued her on the horse all those years ago. However, they cannot see the best in their own daughter??? The fact that they so easily agreed not to take the cuff off her just bothered me. That they didn’t trust the darkness in her. This seemed so OOC for them. But I guess it was Mary Margret and David talking – not Snow and Charming. These were my favorite characters in the first season – they believed in hope and goodness and had that Disney air about them while still being B.A. Now, they are so much their Storybrook counterparts its almost like Snow and Charming was just a dream.
– Hook. Hook and all your dirty disgusting lines. The writers took one of my favorite characters and ruined him. I would have loved to see the Pirate I fell in love with in Season 2 who was saucy and smooth. But this Hook was just disgusting. He called a woman soiled. SOILED. On a family show. Essentially announcing he (for lack of a better way of saying it) “had his way with her” and was done. It also made it seem like he cared nothing about Meliah and she was just a toy for him, which (hook fan or not) I think we can all agree he loved that woman and would not have spent centuries trying to get revenge if he hadn’t. Honestly, between the Marian, Robin, Zelina situation, Hook’s soiled line, and Regina and Graham, I think these writers have a really really sick mind. Quite frankly, we have less information about TL “love making” than we do about forced or meaningless “love making”. Would it hurt for them to encourage the young viewership that this should be a bond between two people in love. Not something you do for fun to impress your shipmates and make another man feel belittled. The message they are sending out is disgraceful and they should seriously be ashamed. Honestly, this line and this message may keep me from finishing a series I have been dedicated to for 4 years. It was extremely offensive.
– Sooooo we can just bring people back from the dead now? Let me guess, there is some loophole in which the DO’s can be brought back from the dead because they were once immortal and killed by the power of the dagger, but regular people like Graham and Neal can’t be brought back. Calling it now.
– The whole Hook-kills-Merlin-because-he-has-Nimue-inside-him-as-a-dark-one thing. I feel like Rumple could have cast the dark curse like a looooonnnngggggg time ago with this theory in mind. I mean, why didn’t he just take the thing Zozo loved most and kill it? Problem solved.
– Also, 5 minute dark curse vs 9 month dark curse?
