BelleOfTheBallParticipant
I loved the plot twist of Pan being the piper! Also loved seeing that his pipes were a nice little hint to the pipes Disney Pan plays in the movie
I do have to agree with Jeremy in the initial reactions, however. I think Henry being able to hear the pipes by the end of the episode was a bit to quick of a turn around. I understand it was because of Peter’s speech just before that, reminding him that his father was dead. In that moment, Henry felt lost and he could hear the pipes. I just hope this isn’t a permanent thing. After all, he is supposed to be the Truest Believer… you would think he wouldn’t give up hope on his family finding him so quickly.
[adrotate group="5"]BelleOfTheBallParticipantTHAT PHOTO. THIS SHIP. I LOVE THIS SHIP.
BelleOfTheBallParticipantI have been so fighting the theories that Blue is evil…but this episode she really just made me mad. I thought she was sneaky after she lied to Snow about the portal only taking one. But last night added a whole new list of sneaky ordeals our good fairy has been in on.
First off, at this point in time Regina has done nothing to provoke Blue to say that she is hopeless. In fact we can assume the last big thing Regina did was save Snow (based on the timeline as we know it now). Doesnt seem very hopeless to me. She skipped out on lessons with Rumple, showing that she wanted to get away from that life. But did blue care about that? Nope. Yet she has this bad image of Regina in her mind for no reason.
I have read some theories about Blue seeing the future, so maybe she saw what Regina could become. But if you were so good, wouldn’t you do everything in your power to try and stop that fate from coming true?
Not sure how I feel about Pan and Blue working together, though they have obviously each been alive for hundreds of years. But i will finally say that perhaps… just maybe… blue isnt as perfect as Snowing thinks.
BelleOfTheBallParticipantPersonally I am a fan of RegalHood as a ship name, but I am open to RegalArrow as well. =) I was unsure how I would feel about a potential love interest for Regina, but i boarded this ship so fast. I am going to be twiddling my thumbs waiting rather impatiently for the moment where they meet and Regina is all EQ then she sees the tattoo and she gets all school girl giddy and embarrassed around him. *jumps up and down excitedly* its going to be so nice to see that softer side of her again!!
I am just hoping that Regina finding a true love doesnt parallel Snow losing hers….. we know how OUAT loves parallels…
BelleOfTheBallParticipantI love seeing this side of Regina – she is not the sweet and innocent Regina before Daniel was killed, but she hasn’t gone all EQ yet. She has a perfectly good reason for being upset with Snow, yet she hasn’t gone crazy with revenge yet. It was nice seeing that she had an in-between stage, and didn’t just immediately switch to the EQ. She tried other ways of making herself happy before deciding Snows unhappiness would be her only happily ever after.
Im curious to see what kind of Tinkerbell we will see in OUAT. Personally, the only Disney version of Tink I like is the one in the original PP and this is the tink I hope we get to see in NL. However, here Tink seems to be more of the character that we see in the Pixie Hollow series Disney has recently released. A little sassy, but mostly kind and gentle. One thing for sure I hope they stick to is that she can only have one extreme emotion at a time.
BelleOfTheBallParticipantI could not have asked more from Peter. He was the perfect mixture of a cunning and deceiving we had expected from Rumple’s description at the end of last year. And when he said “Let’s Play” at the very end of the episode I think I just about lost it. It was perfect. I am quite content on Neverland for a while so long as he is still here =)
BelleOfTheBallParticipantWith all of the Wizard of Oz red herrings this episode I cant help but wonder if maybe Whale’s brother is the Wizard of Oz. We know that Whale trying to bring his brother back happens after Dorothy goes back to Kansas – hence after the Wizard takes off in the hot air balloon (movie – not sure how the book goes as I haven’t read it). What if he died trying to get back to his home land. I don’t mean Kansas like Dorothy, but his home land with Franky. We know the writers like to change the stories a little, so perhaps he wasn’t from the same land as Dorothy, but they were both just looking to get back to their particular homes.
Just a fun thought – perhaps the Wizard of Oz hints weren’t directed at the character we thought =)
BelleOfTheBallParticipanthaha I am SO glad someone commented on sweaty, near shirtless charming working hard in the mines… 😆 I saw that picture on page 3 (or 4) and have been dreaming about it ever since. I hope that scene lasts more than a couple seconds 😀
Anyway, Phee I really liked your interpretation of the Peter Pan story with Bae and Rumple. We know Rumple meets Hook twice.. once when he steals his wife and then later when he is the dark one. I will still be disappointed if Peter grows up, though I know that is most likely what will happen… but I cant be the only one that hopes he just soars in from the sky with Tink at his side!
Either way, i hope we get a good look at Neverland next week. Or maybe this story happens before Hook goes to Neverland. Maybe, as a punishment for taking his wife, Rumple banishes or casts him away to Neverland so he may never see her again. Perhaps after he becomes the dark one he attempts to take her back and when she refuses he uses his powers to put Hook somewhere she will never see him again.
BelleOfTheBallParticipantOh, I hadn’t thought of the idea that Lancelot is still alive and Cora just lied. I guess I just thought she was heartless enough to kill him so I didn’t think twice about it. I hope Snow is smart enough to quiz Lancelot (if he is alive) to see if it is him or Cora. Something that only he would know – like how charmings mother sacrificed herself for snow’s child.
I like the idea of her just saying she killed him just so they do come off as the “bad guys” when they return to camp.
I am worried about this shape shifting magic Cora has. She could really be anyone… though I hope the writers don’t abuse it. Every once in a while if she shape shifts I will be okay with that, but I hope it is done sparingly.
BelleOfTheBallParticipantI hope to see more of her back story but so far I don’t have much of a problem with her… granted she is not one of favorite characters yet. I think it is important that every character in FTL isnt a hardcore fighter that can protect themselves. I think that was a great twist on Snow White that we all fell in love with, but to make every character like that would get repetitive.
Aurora has been ripped away from her one true love a second time, with only half a day in between to see him. If i were her, I would be just as angry, just as vengeful, and just as frustrated – especially if I thought there was someone to place the blame on (MM and Emma).
