Interesting how Eddy thinks Neal is Gold’s moral center and Bobby repeatedly says it’s Belle. So we still don’t know what Belle’s plan is at all, but it sounds like she and Neal are not going to be looking for him together…… it sounds like she’s on her own, which is ok with me
I don’t think it’s a mutually exclusive thing. I think both Neal and Belle are and have been Rumple’s moral compass at times. Bae urged his father to do the right thing in flashbacks we’ve seen and Belle has urged Rumple to do right. It’s a both-and, not an either-or. I think Neal and Belle’s plans will both converge in Oz, and they’ll both team up in OperationGOLD to save Rumple.
Well I think when they were together and Rumple had cursed himself, yes, but after that, as much as he loved Bae, his boy was not that moral compass for him. Father and son don’t really know each other and I do agree with Bobby on this. I guess maybe what I mean is that Belle is his anchor and rock – and Bobby always says this, always says that she’s his emotional, moral center. This isn’t meant to be a slight on Bae, just a notation that the relationships are very different (aside from the obvious).
Hmm, so you mean they go on separate journeys and end up in Oz? I don’t see how Neal is going to try and find Emma/Henry and still try and find his father…..I read spoilers that said they are on the same side, which I’m sure they are, but they have different plans?
I just need ANY info on Belle – Matt didn’t give us THAT much, lol

I have no idea if this is true, but someone tweeted in French that Bobby and Emilie are on set today……..she could be French Canadian, I suppose, but I wonder how she’d know that given she posted it about 40 minutes ago and it would be around 4:30 am Vancouver time
Ruby is not a regular, she’s not a main character……..and TV Line is very reliable. If Matt says it’s one of 8 characters, then I think you can believe him.
I think the split season has been beneficial in that you’re getting the whole story in one continuous motion rather than constantly stopping and starting every few weeks.
I agree. The frustrating thing about season two, is that we had hiatuses all over the place. It was nice when the show came back for The Cricket Game and a episode after that, but it went on hiatus again. And there other hiatuses after that until, I think it was the last 3-4 episodes where there were none.
The biggest downfall is the long hiatus. Had Wonderland been saved for the hiatus, I think the fandom wouldn’t be so frustrated at times because we would still be getting our Once “fix”. If they do decide to do a split season again for season 4, I hope they give us something to fill the hiatuses especially the winter one because winter is a gloomy season anyway made all the worse without Once.
That was the original plan for Wonderland, that it would air during the break between 3A and B, but for whatever reason, ABC set it to air at the beginning of the season.
I agree with the first quote, but not the second. I don’t thing ONCE’S audience is the same as WONDER, because general FT as the mother show is using has more of an audience than WONDER, which always seemed a niche show to me. I’ve never seen it and even if it aired during the hiatus, I wouldn’t watch it. Not everyone interested in fairy tales is interested in Alice in Wonderland.
Much as 11 and 11 worked in theory, did it in practice ? I loathe the 2 hiatuses- basically 6 months without our show. Yes ABC could have been more creative, perhaps shooting mini segments showing cute character and ship moments, but I don’t think it would have helped that much
One more thing:
Whoever dies is not coming back at all, even in FB, and that’s amazing because whether it’s Belle or Neal, their story as part of Gold’s life is done. Now actually, I think that would lend itself more to Neal dying, because if they wanted to ever show him again, they could use Dylan in FB, not MRJ. In fact, Matt Mitovich, in his article about the death actually said that his/her portrayer is leaving the show (and he meant permanently). They could use DS for FB (because at this point, MRJ is the portrayer, not DS) because Gold would have his memories of Bae as a kid to FB to- he’d have few of Neal. The problem is that DS can’t fool anyone now, and certainly not in the future, that he’s as young as Bae was when he went through the portal.
Since we haven’t seen Bobby and Emilie on set for a couple of days, I think they are in the studio either at their pink house, Enchanted Forest, or Oz. It would be a great twist if Rumple and Belle were in Oz and fighting against the Wicked Witch and her minions.
If I recall, the pink house was actually sold and is no longer available for use. Thus why their 310 romantic moment was actually filmed in Rumple’s shop. (someone confirm or deny)
It’s true, but that really annoys me. They’ve got to build an interior set for Gold’s house because Rumbelle doesn’t deserve to have ALL their scenes in a darn shop…. It’s ridiculous to think they’d want to be all romantic in that setting and to make love on a small bed. Seriously?
