I think it was a mistake.
Hmm, I don’t see why it should be a mistake; I don’t think they’d refer to God as frozen – or anything actually, since A/E are going out of their way not to mention anything about him and saying he’s frozen…….that’s too much of a spoiler for them

ParticipantYeah, the shadow re-entered Gold as he gave him the dagger….
Maybe it’s the fact that he didn’t scream in pain? If he stabbed himself, which he did, he would have felt something. Maybe Belle thinks that because he didn’t express any pain that his act of sacrifice protected him and that he actually wasn’t killed, but sent somewhere?

ParticipantI wonder if Gold will have a centric………it’s getting so close and it seems not, which really would be hard to believe. There’s SO much we need to know, especially if his curse is going to break. If he’s saved and his curse still doesn’t break, lol, then honestly, I wonder if it ever will.

*very undefined headcanon incoming* Belle remembers something Rumple said while frozen that makes more sense to her than anyone else (I like that more than hearing something off screen) and goes off on her own. Maybe she goes back to the DC to find a book in her library? And she meets Lumiere there who has knowledge/information she’s looking for (there’s a cheesy metaphor here about light/illumination/information). Knowledge in hand, Belle goes back to the group to inform them that Rumple’s alive but then the Witch casts her curse and they all get teleported back to SB, without memories.
That would be like Belle, awwww HER library…….(I need to see her just break down when she gets back to the DC). The only thing is, Lumiere would be a candleabra. However, Adam’s whiteboard for this episode said something about “Belle finds..” See below. Maybe Neal tells her about Beauty and the Beast movie and how Lumiere was a person before he was a candle and maybe Belle uses magic to turn him back into a human? LOL I know it makes no sense…… Lumiere/Lawrence is an uppity servant who speaks French (per casting call) and we know that A/E find his story with Belle fun.
I’m SO intrigued, lol

Maybe. And I can see her remembering something. I just think that’s so super lazy in terms of writing. “Something super important was said off screen and you’ve never heard of it before, but now our characters recall it and know it’s important!” Whatever it is, I bet it ties into her meeting Lumiere in the lost year.
Re: Lumiere: could be because Adam said it was as surprisingly big spoiler, lol.
No, I meant that Belle would remember something he said that we heard……..she was frozen, but she could still hear, so maybe something he said gave her a clue. She’s not just smart, she’s clever – and things click with Belle.
POM,yes, she and Em deserve screen time – a LOT of it – and then I want the most epic reunion EVER, lol

ParticipantYeah I know. And yet…there’s Philora in 3×19. I thought they simply give some exposition to how they got Philip’s soul back in 3×12–because obviously we’d never see it–and that’d be that. With regards to “Gold’s clash with Pan,” I think the thing she might realize (and this is going to be obvious) there was no body. She didn’t even say, “he’s dead.” She said, “he’s gone.” Belle was emotionally devastated at the time, but SMART GIRL IS SMART. I think she’s going to realize fairly quickly that there is hope because there is no body. With the Philora/Snowing baby….I have *no* idea what that spoiler means. I thought it would just be Aurora and Snow talking about their pregnancies and fears.
You’re probably right since I think A/E did say we’d hear about that…

Poor Belle – I remember those filming scenes of 316 – she looked so sad, sigh

Participantbetsypaige24 wrote: Well clearly Belle doesn’t necessarily believe Gold is dead, so she wants to know where he went. What could she have realized? Maybe it has to do with what he’s told her about the dagger and/or the curse, maybe it has to do with the gold light that emanated from him…….maybe it has to do with his saying that the only way for Pan Daddy to die was for HIM to die, and she wonders why they disappeared? Maybe she refuses to believe he could be dead after making that sacrifice…….it could be so many things
I *think* Aurora and Philip have something to do with this. Aurora is going to tell Belle how she and Mulan got Philip back (which maybe meant a trip to Oz). We know Philora are coming back for the “Oz” episode 3×19. Maybe it’s the history of Oz which includes seeing Philiora be reunited.
Well Belle is sparked by something she realizes about Gold’s clash with Pan, not anything she hears from A/P. I’m not sure…I’m hesitant to ascribe big things to minor characters like Aurora and Philip, especially since I don’t see how Philip’s soul being taken by a wraith has much in common with Gold’s “exit”, but then again, who knows? I suspect whatever A/P are doing has to do with Snowing, since it was already spoiled that the Snowing baby and A /P are connected (or something like that).

ParticipantObviously this must have to do with the “big plans” in store for Belle; it seems like she’s NOT giving up on her man…
Thanks for answering, Matt!

ParticipantThat’s my Belle question! My baby isn’t going to give up on my other baby!
