I think it has to do with Gold’s quote about the voices in his head stopping when he’s………dead. I hope, though I honestly don’t think this has a prayer of happening, Belle is involved in quieting those voices…….

What about HER grief and HER pain?This is what Adam calls significant story? Well yeah, for Neal…….NOT for Belle. She’s just an adjunct to Neal like she is to her father….Oh and UGH…,Gold is dead…. let him rest in peace. Now I have to think about Belle being with a dead man for the rest of the series? I’m so close to just giving up…..poor Belle.

I think Belle does play a bigger role in 315 than this release is giving–for the longest time we all thought it was just a Belle episode and then it started to become clear it was Neal as well. So I think it’s really a dual centric but the press release is highlighting Neal more because of what we see in the promos–perhaps being controlled by the WW. Yeah, but he’s all over the place; they couldn’t mention Belle at all, except for her helping him? Belle was in SB…. I just, this just seems really off. It was Belle who thought they could bring him back…,but she never thought he was dead. Now she thinks he’s dead and they can bring him back?
I know Neal loves his papa very much, but I get the idea he wants to bring Gold back so he can help with his finding Emma and Henry. This was supposed to be Belle’s storyline…….

I don’t think Gold would react that way, honestly…….In S2 finale, he was handling Neal’s death relatively well, thanks to Belle. Belle’s death, IMO, would be the one to throw him in a tizzy, making him break down and lose it because his TL would be gone – and as much as he loves his son, Neal is not his rock or anchor or emotional center. Gold can get through Neal’s death with Belle supporting and loving him, but without her…..
I really don’t understand this theory that Gold kills Neal at WW’s behest. For one thing, MRJ was scene filming in SB. For another, while Regina did tear her father’s heart out, at least it was her choic. Forcing Gold to do that to Belle or Bae would be disgustingly brutal and completely cruel….. Lastly, IF he dies, I think he’d die for Emma and Henry. All of his spoilers have really been about them……..It’s Belle who we think is involved in Gold’s story.. I think that if WW were to demand he hurt or kill anyone, it would be Belle. In my fantasy, Gold’s love for Belle overpowers the magic of the dagger and……… That’s just my fantasy though; even if it doesn’t happen, I still don’t think Neal or Belle or whomever will di at Gold’s hands
I still think he’s faking, that we are supposed to think he’s off…….. “tricks up his sleeve” remember?
I’m glad that people didn’t really want him to die, and maybe one day they’ll express that to him…..
That said, it had better be BELLE who saves him…
I’m guessing WW doesn’t let Gold out at all unless she needs him……..hence, Bell has to go find him.
What I want to know is if he is able to talk to Belle at all in that scene from 316 where they are facing each other? WW is focused on everyone else, but she probably has an ear to Rumbelle. I wonder if Gold would give Belle a subtle hint as to where he is……either way, we know she’ll find him!

I just find that little detail amazing. Gold is being imprisoned somewhere that’s just beyond creepy, probably decrepit and with a haunted house feel.
Several things…..
I really thought Gold looked sane when we first saw him glaring at WW and now I think Gold really is, I love this….he’s playing an act to fool WW (remember: tricks up his sleeve)…….. EXCEPT that he truly is helpless and sob, that breaks my heart. Look at his eyes, look at his face…….and he must be thinking of Belle and Bae, worried about what WW will do to them and needing them so much.

I’ll end on a positive note – my baby hasn’t lost ANY of his fire; look at him in the last one…..he almost looks like he’s threatening her (and sh’s laughing it off)

This REALLY annoys me. When Gold returned from NL, he and Belle were all over each other – and that was only 5 days. Now he returns from “death”, they’ve been parted for over a year, and it’s like NO big deal……. UGH
I don’t think Gold/Rumple was her lover at all; just because she might have felt that way once doesn’t mean he did – well clearly he didn’t. Since that’s the case, I concentrate all my hatred on the notion that he’s her father, which he’s also not.
I find it impossible to believe that Rumple would have confided in Zelena about Bae, especially to just an apprentice or student.
Just give me my babies back, lol
