They spent at least a week on 314. There were a few days of outdoor shoots (including stuff with the base of the tower), then several days of indoor shoots. And it wouldn’t make sense for them to shoot just half an ep before taking a couple of weeks off.
I don’t see why not. It doesn’t NOT make sense to me. An episode takes 7-10 days…….. I’ll see if I can confirm via tweet, but I dont’ want to assume anything.
Bobby was still in Glasgow as of a few days ago; of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything because who’s to say he’s in Belle’s episode (if this is #15 and if it is Belle’s) and even if he is, it doesn’t take days to fly to Vancouver, lol. I’d have thought, though, that if he were filming in the episode (whichever it is) he’d be back in Canada by now.

If it is #15, I’m a bit nervous…….this could be Belle’s episode. I hope at least we’ll see her still grieving and also bonding with Bae)..I wish I had more faith in Kalinda Vasquez.

I know what you’re saying and I also know that we disagree on this but I do think they’re going to be fully reunited by 315. I love that outtake from S2 in the library.
I hope you’re right. I may not be hopeful, but I’m trying very hard to NOT be negative……it’s not a pleasant feeling, lol.
Wasn’t that the best? I’m a big fan of practical jokes for many reasons, one of which is that you don’t bother pulling them on people you don’t like/care about. Emilie got pranked big time….So now when I watch this scene (which is actually one of my all time favoriters), I can’t help thinking about this, lol.
As to the finale FB, Jane confirmed to me that this was before that Skin Deep talk about Bae…..It always seemed like a very early scene to me. Since he did open up to her slightly here, I think it might have been sometime in the Lacey period (but still, he’s very gruff with her at first, so would it be post-library? It would probably have to be, but even though she – inadvertently-interrupted him, seeing him speak to her like that was off-putting). I sort of think that in Skin Deep, when she found the clothes, Belle put two and two together, remembered their earlier talk…..and decided to further broach the matter given they were on closer and better terms.
No one is asking for Rumbelle to have 24/7 fluff or to have their HEA now, but they are just one giant ball of tragedy; there is no balance to their story at all – it’s ALL obstacles. Yeah, Jane says the same thing all the time……….. I really do feel that if they pursue this path with them for the rest of the show, that they actually should not bother giving them a happy ending (it would feel false and untrue to the type of couple they’ve made them: tragic). I don’t want a HEA stuck onto the end of the show if we get zero togetherness from them or zero happiness beforehand; that would be a cop out, IMO, and it would feel like “hey, we never wanted them to be happy at all, but we’ll just give fans the HEA they asked for so they won’t be pissed off and have bad memories of thes how”.
There is simply no reason that Rumbelle can’t be together and face obstacles together. I’ve detailed different ways they can be together and still have angst….Keeping them apart constantly is not only wasting Bobby and Emilie’s rare chemistry (which angers me actually; it bothers me a great deal that they’re doing this), but it’s getting to be manipulative and repetitive

They’ve already proven that they’d fight for each other; why keep pounding that fact into our heads? It’s like the movie Groundhog Day…….over and over and over again.
The only reason I haven’t quit is because I’d punishing myself by doing so; I loved Claire and Charlie on LOST and I quit because I hated how they treated Emilie (Claire), but this is different; I am much more passionate about Rumbelle (that word doesn’t even do it justice) and I’m not sure I’d have the guts to walk away (even though I’d love to show Adam and Eddy the only way I can how upset I am).

I miss my babies, sigh.. I’m in the minority, I suppose, but given how upset I am about the separation and how negative I feel about the 2nd half, I’m glad for the hiatus. It’s allowed me to (somehow) relax a bit (though I’m going to get all frustrated and annoyed by filming spoilers again, I know it, lol) and think about how committed to the show I want to be, now and in the future. Plus, I have time to catch up on my DVRing and possibly some of the Bobby movies I’ve been holding off on watching……

I think the extra push of the dagger was to actually kill Malcolm. Malcolm was still taking when Rumple stabbed him the first time, likewise Rumple. It’s possible the first stab wounded both of them but it was the second push that “killed” them. Rumple will be coming back though.
The first stab to Malcolm undoubtedly did a lot of damage to him, though probably barely grazed Gold…. The 2nd one (and boy, Gold must be so strong) was the one that completed the job on both. I think that’s why the gold light started to flare upon the 2nd thrust – because the dagger truly penetrated Gold’s body (I can’t even say this without crying silent tears) at that moment. Seeing my baby in so much pain, trembling, hurts me still. By the way, who was the one groaning at the end – Gold or Malcolm? I’ve assumed Gold, but I can’t be sure. If it’s him, that just makes the entire scene even more devastating. I’ve written fan fiction where he’s been killed, but seeing it on screen is SO much more painful, sigh
I get what you’re saying Rumple, and excellent points, but I admit I’m done with both Malcolm and Pan, so I don’t want to see either again (well, Pan is dead, so only Malcolm possibly could survive, though I doubt it). I thought Malcolm, though a selfish and unfit parent in FTL, did love his son…ONCE really went out of its way to show how evil and despicable he either was or became. I mean, that scene in Gold’s shop was brutal, one of the most brutal things I’ve ever seen, both in terms of verbal and physical violence. Gold himself said that Pan destroyed his father, so he did separate the two.
I guess I should amend what I said. I think I might be ok seeing Malcolm just for a bit more, telling his son that he did always love him and apologizing for what he said and did…… after that, it would be appropriate for him to die.
I don’t believe that was TLK – Gold’s TL is Belle, we saw that and we’ve always seen that. That was a beautiful kiss and it showed truly how much love this man has in his heart, but his curse started to break the moment he thrust that dagger in further, when it really hit his own body…..that’s when the gold light showed up. Frankly, in my head, Gold was starting to weaken the curse as he continued to change as a man, but as far as breaking it, that really happened because of the enormity of his sacrifice
I think Malcolm is dead because he wasn’t saved. He didn’t deserve to be saved; aside from all his sins as a father back THEN, what he did as Pan to his own son, what he said..and then of course what he was going to do? Nope…..He lived a lot longer (as Pan) than he had a right to, so it’s his time to die.
I don’t think Rumple is more gruff with Belle than you would expect, even if it were later in the story. It’s a very personal subject to him, and as we’ve have seen, it’s hard for him to open up- even later in Storybrooke. He wasn’t being truly mean. She just interrupted his ceremony and he reacted. I agree that it does require you to reach a bit to make that scene work. I think it was intended to be after Lacey but before the conversation in Skin Deep. As far as new form of storytelling- I’m thinking it likely has to do with my prediction that the flashbacks are going to be to that year that we just skipped over.
At first it bothered me, but then it stopped…..Belle didn’t leave and he didn’t ask her to leave again. I sort of think it’s sweet…..and interesting that she’s bringing flowers. My beautiful, sweet Belle trying to brighten up her life and his…I suppose whether it happened before what we saw in Lacey or after isn’t a huge deal, but if it’s after ……is that another room? It can’t be the library he gave her in Lacey……
