I just can’t shake the feeling that this has something to do with Gold wanting to make amends for the hurt he caused as the DO. We know he wants to make a fresh start – and he’s always felt enormous regret and remorse for his actions.Perhaps he’s purposely bringing everyone together in some way and we’ll see him join them soon; perhaps he’s in his lab (which would mean Bobby filming indoors, which explains why we don’t have a photo of him) conjuring all this up.
This would explain why Belle doesn’t look miserable (perhaps she knows what he’s doing) and why she’s talking to the EQ, as if nothing has ever happened between them……It explains why Hook is here (probably NOT the real Hook, but for Gold that doesn’t matter; perhaps he’s just a part of Hook – the real man being in NY)

There doesn’t seem to be any sort of logic about who is where, is my main issue. If it was those brought to our world by the Curse, then we shouldn’t have reports of Snowing and Rumbelle (both Emilie AND Bobby at various points) on the faux-NYC set. And then Neal SHOULD be in NYC. Which is why I’m starting to think that Regina is the only one who goes to the EF as she was the one who cast the Curse but everyone else is in our world, in NYC.
I don’t think they’re all in NYC -how can they be when the photos show they’re in FTL costumes? I think only Emma, Henry and Hook are there………but god knows how Hook is in FTL as well…

Just went through everyone’s posts about the pics AU theory: maybe but there’d have to be a lot of work around for Nealfire to be there and be grown up. also, didn’t see Henry…does that mean in the AU version Henry isn’t born. (did I miss him? That’s possible. I was a little overwhelmed by “what the heck?!” Maybe it’s Regina’s dream. She is dreaming of what her family life could have been. Except she didn’t know Philora. Emma knows Philora so it could be her dream sequence.
I just want to know why my babies are separated yet AGAIN, lol…..

If there’s a storyline where they’re separated, they ARE writing for them. They’ve been writing for them this season, any time Rumple had a vision of Belle, whether it was real her or the Shadow impersonating her, they were still writing about the depth of love that Rumple has for her. When they showed Belle in SB, a big part of that was about her love for Rumple. They’ve still been writing Rumbelle storyline, even though they’re separated in different worlds. Sure, fans of any couple want to see them together, but it’s the time a couple spends apart, the struggles they have to go through, THAT is where the story suited to TV drama is. It would be like a fresh start, it would be their HOME, that they made together. They could read to each other by the fire, take long walks in the forest, go skinny dipping in the lake……. They could have romantic dinners (at a smaller table in the kitchen, not at this hugely impersona dining room table), dance, and most of all, make love 24/7 in every bedroom. Oh, and they could spend time in Belle’s library, she reading, he making silly explosions with his magic. OH and can they PLEASE recreate the deleted SD scene already? Oh and can they spin together?…and that’s all very well and good for a Rumbelle specific fanfic, but it’d be DEAD BORING on the actual show, because the show needs to show some conflict and some situations the characters need to overcome, and happy home making doesn’t provide for that. So they put Rumbelle through the wringer on the show, because seeing couples, (and families) overcome the obstacles is what tests their love, and ultimately makes that love stronger by the time they DO get around to showing the “happily ever afters” whenever the show ends. Also, Rumbelle don’t exist within their own little bubble, they also affect other storylines and characters, so it’s unreasonable to expect that every scene for either character will just be about them being in love with each other. I honestly don’t understand it when someone watches a show just to see one ship, or even one character, or actor, in isolation, (I know there are a few EvilRegals who swore off the show but plan to watch Save Henry, purely for the flashbacks, then they’re gonna ditch the show and talk crap about it again, and I think that’s completely pointless because if you truly love Regina and/or Lana, you should be interested in her whole story, all of her actions, and how that progresses her as an individual, and the affect she has on other characters). Watching the show with blinders on means you miss so much more wonderful storyline that’s going on, and I also think it provides a skewed interpretation of whatever character is the focus. I especially don’t understand it if someone is only interested in Rumple’s story in relation to Belle, because he’s SUCH a layered, tortured soul, and Bobby portrays him in such a masterful way that he’s one of the most compelling characters I’ve ever seen on TV.
I don’t just watch for Rumbelle, but even if I did (and yes they are the primary reason now), it shouldn’t matter. People can watch for all sorts of reasons….and none of them are wrong or right.
Also, I understand about obstacles and angst and I’m not suggesting 24/7 fluff, but while I agree with you in general (your points about Belle in NL particularly), I want them together as well. You’re not wrong and I’m not right, but neither am I wrong and you right; we just disagree.
The DC stuff? That would not be boring for me…….and I’m not suggesting 24/7 of that., but seeing some or all or part of those things? Not boring to me and not boring to a lot of people. It’s fine if you want 24/ 7 angst where Rumbelle has nothing but problems and tragedy, but that’s not for me and it’s not for many of us. I want balance; I think constant and overpowering tragedy is hard to watch and I don’t think it’s realistic. For me, we have not had balance; we have not had any Rumbelle happy times. I don’t consider a 2 minute burger scene happy..I mean, I want some real happiness that lasts for more than 2 or 3 minutes. Again, balance.
It’s ironic that you mention Rumbelle affecting others since thus far in the show, Belle has hardly been a presence and Rumbelle has had barely more screen time than that. I never said or implied that every scene between them should be about their undying love…..
I completely gree about Bobby’s brilliant acting and his incredible portrayal of Gold; I worship his performance and I adore Gold – he’s my favorite character. I LOVE LOVE LOVE him and I think his arc has been incredibly gorgeous and realistic…….and yes, Belle has had a huge part to play in that. Anyway, I love seeing how he’s truly tried to change and is changing, has changed……..Belle’s presence affected him greatly in S2 and his love for her catapulted him from psychogical morass he was in thanks to Pan. He IS and has been a tortured, tormented soul…..but full of love, needing to love and be loved. Without him, IMO, there is no show….and I wouldn’t watch, even for Belle.

And I’m a pessismisst too. I promise! No matter how much faith I have, I am constantly going “oh man, they’re going to do X Y Z and it’s going to be so bad!” So I’m not trying to hit you with magical happy juice. I get it. Just as a big a Rumbelle fan over here. They’re my OTP. I’ve never really shipped much in my life, but by god I ship them. Oh my god, please DO, please keep giving me magical happy juice – I WISH I were an optimist, lol…
You have no idea how much I ship them – it’s verging on obscene, lol.
It bugs me when people complain about those of us who want more Belle and Rumbelle, as if we’re worse fans. I think the show has wasted Bobby and Emilie. Yes, we have gotten a magnificent love story, but when you are handed a gift like this (and their chemistry is spectacularly unique), the idea that you stuff them is ludicrous. I’m not saying that we need to see them in every episode, the entire time (I agree with those who think Snowing is overdone……), but there’s a middle ground. I MISS them, I want to see them. I don’t care that Snowing is the “core” couple – IMO Rumbelle blows them away in every way. Separating them instead of writing for them is so cliched – and it’s disappointing.
However, as long as I am watching the show, I will try to have hope…….though the 2nd half of S3 is a crossroads for me in terms of determining my future commitment to the show
I honestly do NOT believe that they have separated Rumbelle again. HONESTLY. I think Neal is separated and possibly Regina but not Rumbelle. PLEASE. Don’t panic yet, ok? We have nothing but random pics and NO context. We don’t know anything. We are making leaps in logic.

It’s their show and they have every right to do with it as they see fit, but he didn’t deny a separation. I’m so tired of it. I get that maybe it means Belle/Bae bonding, but why can’t that happen when they are all together?
They obviously don’t want to write for Rumbelle or else they wouldn’t constantly separate them. They’ve been separated in FTL of the past, SB of the past, SB of the present and now FTL of the present. What’s next, Rumbelle is LOST IN SPACE?

Yes. So now, for those who are lost. These actors have been reported in the Fake NYC JMo, Colin, MRJ, Emilie, Bobby, Jared, Ginny, and Josh. All we’re missing is Lana and I get the feeling she’s back in SB (with RH somehow) That tweet from Helga: It looks like Charming’s cloak.
Actually, it appears Bobby and Em (separately) are in the EF………

Nealfire and Belle are in FTL! That PA girl on twitter spoiled it. Said they’re both filming today and before she had posted photos of horses showing they’re filming in FTL today. Nobody asked her if Robert’s there and I don’t have a twitter account to ask.
Then an anon said the same girl reported Bobby not filming today…I didn’t see a tweet like that, but…

The girl posted photos of the men on the horses but she deleted them because she was afraid she was giving too much away. They’re definitely in the Enchanted Forest!
Yup! And she was asked if Rumbelle were separated and she said “just watch and see”……this has me excited! I’ve always wanted them to go back to Dark Castle.
The tweet the girl responded to re: Rumbelle separation was mine.
***All I know is that I’ve had enough separations. I’m tired of it and I’m pissed off that Adam and Eddy might very well do this. Every *** time they reunite, Rumbelle is separated again. Great, so how many more episodes do we have to sit through without them together?

Well we know Jane Espenson only recently wrote 313. I think they write scripts pretty close to before they film.
I’d say this is in reference to 313 and is most likely a Regina/Robin episode. Which makes sense. If they are following traditional outlines of seasons (3.2 being almost its own season) then 312 = no centric; 313= Regina centric; 314= Snow centric; ect ect ect. The only time it changed was for S3 and that was just switching Regina and Snow.
The PA from ONCE who often tweets about filming said Bobby filmed 2nd half yesterday….still NO Emilie. Now I’m concerned Rumbelle is separated again…
Oh and it’s not fair if we don’t get a Belle episode this 2nd half……….
