Both me and my 12-yr old daughter were in tears! It was everything we’d hoped it would be. It was a beautiful, picture perfect fairy tale wedding. I loved Emma’s dress, Killian’s suit, the terrace venue, the colors, everyone happy and singing/dancing afterwards – it was a true celebration. A celebration of not just their love but how much they accomplished, how far they’ve come as a couple. Which is why I wish the series had ended on that happy note, their “new beginning”. It would have been a perfectly satisfying ending, in my opinion.
[adrotate group="5"]bigredParticipantFirst we asked: who is Henry’s father?
Then, we wondered about Rumple’s dad.
So now, I’m wondering…
WHO IS MALCOM/PETER PAN’S FATHER??? :p
And the family tree gets weirder and weirder…
bigredParticipantWooohooooo! Just scheduled it on my phone so I won’t forget!

Pan is fast becoming the character I LOVE to hate. He such a manipulating, evil boy, and you just wanna KILL him, but he’s SOOOO wonderful in that way…hahaha. It’s great to have a character like that on the show. Nothing is as clear cut or simple with him, and you have NO IDEA what he’ll be up to next.
Least favorite moment: David being stubborn and nasty with Hook. I was like, “Come on, man! Give the pirate a break!” He was so judgmental!
bigredParticipantthe books have a certain popularity, are simple in story and attractive for big mainstream cinema. No matter how bad the script and the movie, people will watch it and be it out of curiosity. The biggest risk for Jamie Doran is, that after it people might be unable to see him beyond this role, that he will be pretty much stuck with it and the type, limiting eventually his creative possibilities. Maybe he doesn’t mind it, maybe it will be different for him, whatever, his decision if to play the role.
That’s true, just like the Twilight books. So let’s look at what happened to Robert Pattinson. He took a lot of heat from the critics for this role, and he will never live down the fact that he was a “sparkly emo vampire” on the big screen. But then he went on to work on some independent films, with most critics praising his performances. So although he will forever be associated to that THAT vampire, I think this has not put that big a dent in his career.
The question remains. Will Jamie be another Robert Pattinson? Who knows? I sincerely hope 50 Shades is a springboard to bigger and better roles, but I’m not holding my breath…
bigredParticipantI know…I know…I agree, it’s rash…but the book is SO BAD. I sincerely hope for Jamie’s sake it isn’t. It’ll probably make tons of money anyway. It’ll probably be another Twilight saga (and don’t get me started on THOSE books!)
bigredParticipantHe’s at 94, 383!!! But after next Sunday’s episode, his number of Twitter followers will l go through the roof! (fingers crossed!)
bigredParticipantCareer maker or breaker? It all depends of whether they manage to make a movie that is infinitely better than the book. About a year ago, I started reading it, just to see what all the hoopla was about, and though there have been repeated attempts, I have not been able to finish it. The characters are beyond exasperating, and the book itself is very poorly written (and I’m not just saying that – I’m a teacher AND a writer). I keep falling asleep. When I do manage to stay awake to read it, I find myself getting increasingly annoyed, particularly by the female protagonist. She’s a little girl who is willing to become submissive to this poor, twisted man just because she thinks he’s hot. I could go on an on about the book, but I won’t bore you with my views and besides, like I said, I haven’t even finished it!
But back to Jamie….sigh…I was very disappointed to hear the news. I sincerely hope he backs out of this project. From what I heard, most other actors won’t touch this role with a ten-foot pole. And what are the odds of them making a movie version that is better than the book? They’d have to basically rewrite the whole thing and I believe the author is involved in the project – no way she’ll let that happen.
Sadly for Jamie….I predict 50 Shades of FAIL.
bigredParticipantSomeone PLEASE nominate this kid for an Emmy! He’s creepy and chilling, and he totally pulls it off in the most convincing way. He’s working those smirks and eyebrows to perfection. We thought Rumple and Regina have been evil at times, but Peter Pan seems to be evil incarnate! And we have Robbie Kay’s mesmerizing acting to thank for that.
