Eion Bailey made an appearance in a dream I had last night. Don’t remember if he was himself, or August, but either way, gotta say, it wasn’t an entirely horrible dream.
LOL! I can relate! In the past little girls dreamt of meeting Prince Charming…now they’re going to dream of meeting….Pinocchio!

August is a hot Pinocchio, though Does that make me weird?
Hey, it’s OK to appreciate the fact that the cute little boy grew up into one GOOD-looking man 😀
Now, I wonder what would have happened if little Pinocchio had stayed with Emma throughout her life and not abandoned her…would he have been able to “prep” her for what was to come, i.e, her confrontation with Regina and the ending of the curse?
Can you imagine what THAT would have been like for Emma? Growing up with a little boy who shared with her all of his knowledge of the fairy tale world? WOULD HENRY EVEN HAVE BEEN BORN? That moment when Pinocchio leaves Emma as a baby was one PIVOTAL moment! 😯

Her son’s belief in her I think is gonna get Emma to do what she needs to do
Exactly! August thought all along HE was the key to helping Emma believe, and I agree that was the responsibility he chose to shoulder; he promised his father, Gepetto, he would. But it’s not as simple. Henry is the only one who is truly capable to breaking through Emma’s defenses. I think in this episode August laid down the groundwork…now Emma has her doubts, she’s not entirely sure he’s lying, otherwise she wouldn’t be so panicky. The next logical step would be for Henry to find some way to make her believe. Henry is the one who’ll make the savior believe and understand what she needs to do.

Here is a quote from episode 19 “The Return” where Mr. Gold is talking to Booth after Booth tries to control him with the knife.
Rumple: “That this knife can not harness any magic in this world because there is no magic in this world.”
As we have found out through episode 17 “Hat Trick,” Emma had the power to create a magic hat because she has brought magic into this world because of being unaffected by the curse. Since her arrival, time has begun and Regina is loosing her control (much to Mr. Gold’s benefit).
So the question is, WILL WE SEE EMMA TAKE POSSESSION OF THE KNIFE AND CONTROL THE DARK ONE aka MR. GOLD IN STORYBROOKE BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON!!![/b
That very same thought crossed my mind at the end of the episode…part of me wants to see Emma wield that knife (just out of curiosity) and another part of me doesn’t…too afraid of what it might turn her into…but if there is someone in Storybrooke who can use it, it’s probably Emma.
Question: My mind’s kinda fuzzy this morning…where is the knife now anyway? Who took it after the August/Gold confrontation? Did Gold take it with him?
bigredParticipantI think most of us who voted for Gold/Rumpel are probably just HUGE fans of Robert Carlyle’s AMAZING acting. At least that’s the case for me…when he speaks either as Gold or Rumpel, I hang on his every word…he’s hypnotizing at times…such a complex character, so intriguing…so cruel sometimes, yet we feel for his pain…how can we not love such a fascinating character?
bigredParticipantI can’t say which part was my favorite – I liked the whole episode, though all of the scenes with Gojd/Rumple were priceless.
LEAST FAVORITE:
I would like to officially nominate Sydney Glass for Biggest Doormat of Season One This guy seriously needs to grow a pair. I guess that is essentially his role in Storybrooke – Regina’s personal doormat, but it disgusts me to no end.bigredParticipant@hjbau wrote:
I think that there are going to be two returns. Kathryn in the real world and someone else in the fairytale land.
Oh, absolutely! There could totally be a double meaning to it. And from what I’ve read in the episode description, I’m guessing it'll be Baelfire returning to see his father (supposedly to help his father give up his powers).
bigredParticipantKathryn’s return has to be HUGE!!! First off, it immediately gets Mary Margaret off the hook. Then, they’ll all want to know where in the world she’s been, and lastly, how they found Kathryn’s DNA in that heart. Let’s not forget Mary Margaret was two steps away from a trial. If we follow the story line that began with Kathryn’s disappearance, it stands to reason that The Return has to be about her.
bigredParticipantI’m going to agree with everyone who says The Return refers to Kathryn’s return…her popping up in that alley is going to throw a mean wrench into Regina’s plans, and we’ll probably see how it all plays out…
bigredParticipantThanks, guys! 😀
