Well it’s been like a year since I may have last posted but I found out about the Neal thing and I had to come talk to all of you about it!!!! Well first I think I cried…but then!!! I stopped watching after 4A(?) I think I don’t even remember but I might watch this episode….
Kisses to all of you guys though!!! I missed you all
[adrotate group="5"]Twice Upon A TimeParticipantYesterday was game 5 of the World Series, Football, and a 90 minute episode of Walking Dead so all of this Sunday’s ratings should be taken wth a grain of salt even though that effects Quantico more than OUAT technically -I’m also not only 100% postive about a season 6 renewal but also considering the probable chance of a S7 -> Currently I think all of ABC’s non Thursday shows -that is not Shonda Rhimes shows are not in good shape I think as of a week ago before HTGAWM dropped under Scandal Greys and HTGAWM were the only shows with a 2+ ratings so as a whole ABC is in trouble – currently ABC highest rated show I think is Scandal which last week only pulled a 2.4 so when compared OUAT’s 1.5 is not all that horrible so I don’t think ABC is too keen on losing a show with what is honestly one of the most loyal fanbases they have especially when they are already struggling to replace shows ( There is still a Revenge shaped hole in ABC’s Sunday line up that Blood and Oil cannot fill) but I think next year Sunday will be 8:00 OUAT 9:00 Quantico and 10:00 Whatever new show ABC picks up
Twice Upon A TimeParticipantEpisode 3 almost always sees a drop across almost all shows because you get a surge of voters for the premiere and nearly all of them will stick around for episode 2 but but episode 3 you weed out the people who weren’t intrigued by episodes 1&2 so it’s a semi steepish drop and then the drop should taper off because at that point the show will have its core group of established viewers who will probably stick around for the rest of the season
Also totally agreeing with RG point Blood and Oil is pretty much a guaranteed cancellation Nashville has been in hot water for a long time and Castle’s not looking so great -I’m predicting a short final season pick up for Castle though – but also putting a new show up at Sunday @8 up against the Walking Dead is basically guaranteed DOA – OUAT is an established show with an established audience – I don’t think ABC will be too keen on replacing it because then they’d also have to find a fanbase to back the show
Twice Upon A TimeParticipantTwice Upon A TimeParticipantSo I know that the TGIT line up is the one of the best things to happen to ABC since sliced bread -> but it leaves me emotionally exhausted Greys was emotionally draining- if you watch GA those twins!!!?? and Alex is amazing!!!- And then I skipped Scandal cause I way to sober for the bs of that show – And then I started HTGAWM which can only be described as -> What The Actual F$#% Is Going On?!?
Best part of the Episode-
•Keating 5 in the kitchen talking about their bedroom lives
Worst/Creepiest part of the Episode-
• Annalise talking about *attempts to find a word* tacos and the cut to Wes’ face and his yawn implying that Wes spent the night not sleeping
Episode MVP-
•Total dark horse but Laurel -she was sassy and quick and snarky and her face while she’s talking to the people to testify was top notch ?
Biggest OMG moment-
• The camera pans to Wes in Nates house after Annalise leaves
And Obligatory Coliver moment
•The last scene where Connor tells Oliver he was good
Basically- solid episode but I’m actually missing Bonnie and Asher they were sweet and maybe the only couple that didn’t start in complete deceit (I’m looking at you Conner and Oliver- Poor Oliver thinks his reformed boyfriend is just an ex druggie not an accomplice in murder)
Also starting to like Frank with Laurel but that may just because I wanna find Mr Hot Legal Aid guy for myself
And Eggs is Rebecca’s foster brother….not sure how I feel about that
Twice Upon A TimeParticipantI was thinking it over and I actually do think OUAT will get a season 6 but it will be the last season and might be a shorter season and they’ll advertise as the final season that gives A&E and entire summer to create this epic finale storyline (the final battle maybe?) and they’ll end it on a high itstead of being taken of the air without much resolution
If you think about the last longish running show that ABC ended was Revenge and before a cancellation was announced the show was pulling in 1.0 ratings- OUAT is currently at 1.8 a far cry from a 1.0 and honestly even though I’m not watching the show I can say that OUAT will probably not drop that exponentially that quickly I predict that the show’s season low will be a 1.4 but no lower if social media is any indication people seem to liking the current story arc
The only thing in my mind that could contest this idea is that I think that this is a contract year and that OUAT is a fairly expensive show to create but I think if they are told that the next season will be the end then the actors will stick around and ABC might throw the show some money
But yeah I predict a season 6 renewal
Twice Upon A TimeParticipantMy Coliver heart broke and then was remended and then broke again
Also when did the Keating 5 – Asher become super close like as far as I can remember Michaela and Conner hated each other suddenly Connor is telling her to take the leap???
Eve -PLEASE STAY!!!!!
Evil annoying Prosecuter lady -PLEASE GOOOO
I really hate the siblings – super annoying
Frank and Laurel – gross I hate them so much- what happened to hot legal aid guy?
Who is this Levi person? And can I have 2 unless he’s a murderer in that case keep him
So new Questions
•As of right now who do you think killed evil prosecutor chick and shot Annalise?
•Is Levi eggs911?
•If ABC decided to give HTGAWM a private practice esq spin off show what character should it follow ?
•And do you watch anymore of TGIT?
I think-
•Its Asher or maybe Nate
•Yes
• ummm Frank maybe? Maybe from his hit man days
•Of course -12 seasons of Greys and and I used to watch Scandal but it got to really weird
Twice Upon A TimeParticipantI was wondering if the possible ending of other long running TV shows could save OUAT for another season
For example I know Castle’s been on the rocks for a while and could be seeing its last season also Grey’s Anatomy while having great ratings right now is also uncertain in its renewal because of being a contract year for nearly all of its cast – so if one of these shows ended would that keep OUAT a float for another year so that ABC could focus on a solid smooth ending for the show without having to worry about dealing with another show ending and replacing it
Because that’s another thing replacing TV shows is hard and recreating a fanbase is even harder especially if your doing that twice it could be a blow the channel’s overall standing
Twice Upon A TimeParticipantCould this be the return of FrankenWolf??!??! I might actually watch if it is !!!! But he’s probably just going to be a bit player
Twice Upon A TimeParticipantWell as someone who did stop watching the show -at least live that is I might catch it all at once on Netflix I do still listen to the podcast though- it started with season 4 where watching Once became this chore it was kind of exhausting to watch especially with the repetivness in the storytelling – and maybe that’s what it is OUAT is a genre of TV that doesn’t age well unless you take major risks there just not enough story there it’s not your Law and Order NCIS Grey’s Anatomy type of show that can go on seasons upon seasons and still deliver or maybe it’s the mouse shaped phone that’s in the writers room that causes them to revert to overused tropes and super predictable twists (remember when WR predicted the Wicked Sisters plot line before the actual season aired) but Once just isn’t shiny and new any more and maybe it’s that lack of risky TV that turned off a lot of viewers I know it did me
