Bo-PeepsParticipant
Mr. Darcy. (wistful smile) …hey…is Emma’s powerful magic going to be the one that restores Hook’s hand? And if the lip curse isn’t Emma specific couldn’t he have planted one on Zelena while she was sneeringly invading his personal space with her lip curled venom and killed her wretched power on the spot? Gawd she is hate-able!!! And goofy hats, too. Really silly.
Gnite all.
Happy Angst Killing TLK Dreams 🙂

Bo-PeepsParticipant“Question: why do they even bother putting a shirt on Hook?”
The Tease. 🙂
and it works.

Bo-PeepsParticipantI’m on the side of the gang plank that says save his ship!
SERIOUS (but smiling while I write it) BLUNT RANT follows:
First of all, Ariel is a total stranger who tries to knock his brains out and slit his throat. As if she gives a flying fin for Hook’s welfare except so she can use him to get what she wants. Talk about selfish! HA. His only interest is when she gives him the clue about the Jolly Roger. As, frankly, it should be! He is totally lost without his ship, and though Smee does his anti-pirate best to try and cast a doubt on Hook’s sanity by questioning Hook’s love for his” home” as if it were a woman…(it is the symbolism, you little bilge rat, symbolism!! By the way…loved the * I am dreaming of cheese* line), Hook is desperate for a connection to everything he loved and lost. Liam, Milah…and a way to cross realms to Emma. He is going to give it up for some dude he has never heard of and his bat/knife wielding girlfriend? Give up his a part of his past and soul that he lost??? Not bloody likely with his passionate, sometimes impetuous, temperament.
Oh, and Blackbeard can suddenly be trusted? He’s a scumbag. (a very cool costume, but a total scum) Who’s to say he isn’t lying through his teeth and Eric is long gone anyway? No, get the ship, then with the help of the psssst MERMAID, go find Eric. I’m sure she has under(water)world *connections*.
Harsh? Maybe, I just think quite a few of Disney’s Princesses are hypocrites!! It is OK for her to sneak attack a guy from behind with a brutal bat to the head, but she is all *love, honor, decency* when it comes to what she specifically wants. A.C.C.O.U.N.T.A.B.I.L.I.T.Y. for everyone.
The self-torture and pain of Hook, the man, sometimes seems to be *acceptable* and earned because, after all, he is just *a pirate*. His pain isn’t as noble somehow. Pfffft. Every character in the show is flawed and has a partially violent or criminal past. Including Emma. The righteous can be particularly cruel. Hook is very adept at beating himself up over his bad form very well on his own. Both he and Emma habitually beat themselves up to a pulp emotionally.
Obviously Hook has some very painful demons to conquer. He, like every other character, has things for which to make amends. And should. For the sanity of his own soul AND
for the sake of the now perfectly laid out trail for he and Emma to finally embrace the love, the truth and each other, literally!!!
And by Goddess, Colin has a phenomenal face/talent for smoldering, beautiful tortured angst!
I’m tired of him constantly being dumped on (grin). The other OUAT characters doing it are bad enough. Double standards and all that. But being a scapegoat for the entire non-Hooking, *self-indulging, whiney, wallowing in denial* group of fans who can’t accept that their particular glamorized little dream world never materialized from the creators’ plans is plenty annoying enough, thank-you! heh.
I am more than sure that Hook also gets much of the hate because he is gorgeous, desirable, sexy, edgy, dark and a bit of the forbidden fruit in the minds of many fans entrenched in the Disneyesque lore of what is Sweet and Good and an acceptable, pure Happily Ever After image.
*I am also for him telling all about the curse, no matter how much it may damage his pride. (We’ll see how much the viewers get played by A & E. They can move quite fast when they want to get to a point) Together the rest of them can be formidable and forewarned against the green biaaaatch’s lunacy. She will try to kill them all anyway, yes. They will eventually win, and I think Emma’s ultimate power will be the deciding factor…no matter how we are torn asunder in the mean time! But they can be totally kick butt when they work together. And much more fun.

Bo-PeepsParticipantI’ll share your joy, surayya . Grin. Just finishing up before closing my jewelry making for the weekend!
We love the Captain for his passionate soul, and tonight he showed it full force and from A(riel ) to Z(elena).
GOOD things are coming. And I am glad that Emma is going to have to finally step up to the emotional plate at last and help Killian through this.
she had a strong break-through tonight and she may soon get a solidly heroic chance to earned the love he finally declared for her!
***Always in search of a good flock***
Bo-PeepsParticipantIt’s all good …and showcases Hook’s/Colin’s intensity. He is such a major player now more than ever.
and absolutely this will give Emma quite the…soul searching pause…in her search for herself and love. She truly does need a swift kick and this, though tough for our tortured hero, will give it to her. The shoe is on the other foot( hook on the other hand?) but it will eventually take both of them to a massively emotional connection and climax (of the PLOT!) when they do defeat that biaaaatch.
Emma’s power has strength that impresses even Regina. Imagine the power of her Love When she acknowledges it.
it’s allll good stuff.

Bo-PeepsParticipant“I can either make this painful…or quite painful!”
muhahaha.
I love me some heavy handed Hook! And the shadows behind the sail are such a delightfully superb nod to Errol Flynn ( aye, captain Blood!)
Zelema raises the stakes and oh my is this going to be pure UST and beyond fun!
They made it far more entertaining than anything I had imagined 😉
***Always in search of a good flock***
Bo-PeepsParticipantYup, obisgirl, the Savior’s savior.
Playing on what she said to Cora at the lake, and what Hook reminded her of at the docks, maybe it is Emma who actually teaches Regina that “love is strength” when she conjurs/imagines/magically visualizes just exactly who her heart really feels is her Knight in Shining Armor 🙂 ~ Of course it might be one of those vanishing scenes that are happening now between sneek peek and showtime! We have to be prepared for everything.
fun fun fun.

Bo-PeepsParticipantPriceofMagic said “As for why it’s Hook, Regina may be messing with Emma”
Well, it certainly is A&E messing with us! 🙂
Yeah, I can see that. I actually like the idea of the Knight in Shining Armor being some part of Regina’s training or Emma’s reaction to it during a moment of particular stress. It would certainly force Emma’s hand/stoicism to do something to break out from her protective walls. Her motivation to perform magic has always sprung from her heart and not any hate
But since I can see it, I am probably wrong (snork)
Yes, too, Jenna, as a couple, I second your emotion 🙂 ~Emma and Hook would have to continue to be stand alone, very strong characters. Watering either of them down would just so not serve their adventurous potential.

Bo-PeepsParticipantQuick response to several post:
Robin Hood has “chutzpah” and is a natural man of gutsy adventure. Plus more importantly, Regina saved his son.
Regina doesn’t have much of a leg to stand on in judging the character of someone else close to Henry without being a flaming hypocrite. She knows that Hook is devoted to Emma, ergo he would protect Henry.
All fandoms have killjoys and bullies. It is just a reflection of unpleasant people from their real lives. It is about their own personalities and often their inability to accept any one else’s enjoyment of…anything. They can’t be happy through their own hearts and minds, so they try to bring others down to their own crabby-arsed level. They will never change or go away.
Side-step them and hold on to your own joys 🙂
And yup yup yup about progression in relationships!!
basically and spoken from a very shallow need (ha!) …I want to see SOMEONE who knows what they are doing kiss the dickens out of that gorgeous smoldering pirate! Cannot waste that face. Cannot waste that face. Cannot waste that face!
and yeah, it would be fine if it was Emma. (Wink)
***Always in search of a good flock***
Bo-PeepsParticipantElfish/elven…these fantasy worlds must stick together (any hope for a Legolas cameo? He could give Emma a run for her money in the hair department …and Robin Hood in his shooting prowess…Ahhh Orli!)
Loving Regina and her honest snark, and how this particular student calls her teacher a bully. The showdown, I HOPE, between these two and freaky brain Zelena could be massive fun. The showdown before was a letdown. More like a warm up act.
I had a different take on her “yearning and doe-ey eyed” comment. She was calling out Emma on Emma’s obvious facial (if not vocal) reactions to Hook. Always in stoic denial as if showing emotions are worse than an acute case of leprosy, Emma rejects the yearning label as any good wall builder would~but not the doe-ey eyes! (Grin) they speak for themselves.
Then Regina placates her with a “maybe” but reminds her that her Captain certainly has both. Poke poke poke.
I love their guarded truce camaraderie .
Lots of interesting moments for us to inhale for sure.
