Bo-PeepsParticipant
My daughter would OWN Lily’s Turban (grin) while her mother would definitely * be one with* the felt cloche for casual tilted-over-one-eyebrow wear (grin)
What a blast you must have!!!

Bo-PeepsParticipantMany of these polling sites are notorious for freezing out selections they don’t want to advance. When irratic check marking (recognized votes) is happening, even clearing out your cache isn’t necessarily going to help. There have also been instances of fixed voting, so that whenever one selection is chosen, the other selection automatically gets a hit as well, to keep the percentages the same.
It brings people back to the site repeatedly and benefits the hit count of the site, but does not keep the integrity of the voting process.
I have no idea how reputable Zimbio is regarding polling practices. But if whoever you are voting for continually is not showing up with a check mark once you have cleared your cache and the vote is *fresh*, you are dealing with a website *issue*.

Bo-PeepsParticipantUmmm, I will see if I can figure out how to upload a few 🙂 without totally screwing it up!
textbookone: Oh, now I would LOVE to see photos of your art. Please? Hats, I miss them. I used to wear lots of berets and felt floppy versions with big flowers in my college years. (I always wanted to fashion some miniatures for my antique-style teddies.)
BRING BACK HATS!!!!

Bo-PeepsParticipantI am totally envious of knitters!! My mother used to make gorgeous Scandanavian style sweaters with intricate designs. I can handle…knitting stripes (heh)
My sister is a master quilter and does amazing applique.
Me? Jewelry designer here. My passion for rings and pendants and bracelets made of silver flatwear with wireworks accents is my current obsession.
I’ve also, on the other end of the spectrum have been a Teddy Bear artist for *cough cough* years. I create my own designs, mostly jointed, hand-stitched, using mohair, alpaca and luxury faux furs.
Enjoy all these pictures! Very talented ladies.

Bo-PeepsParticipantThose are great 🙂 Ah, we Oncers love those extra creative minds!
(Not a visual but in the pilot, when Archie runs into him and Emma on the street in Storybrooke, Henry says he was on a field trip. In 3-12, he asks for his permission slip to go on a field trip from Emma.)

Bo-PeepsParticipantThank you for going to all that trouble obisgirl 🙂 I did try to listen to that broadcast and what I could hear was quite entertaining! This made it much easier.
And Stelio, your graphics and those you bring here show a great loyalty and positive energy to the fandom. Thanks so much.

Bo-PeepsParticipantI’m dropping this off while I have a break from the day job, but will be back this evening for more *dalliances* with message board camaraderie!
Favorite line because I got the biggest sass smile *Why are YOU wearing THAT?*
Yup, also delighted in the little knowing smile that David had plastered on his face as Hook took off to *find her* (Jolly Roger? …and Emma. And David knew it.)
Emma makes some pretty disastrous moves when she picks men to declare her love for. Neal is…a beige, shallow dullard (I still don’t see passionate Bae in him at all) and Walsh is…an equally shallow, fanged flapping primate. When she finally gets the courage to take down her walls and deeply love someone who has her best interests at heart and knows her like the back of his hook (grin)…Killian will be there for *the fun to start*.
He is back to his swaggering self, even though we know the man has a very deep soul, and the eye emoting between these two, plus the clinking of their drinking glasses, wellll, it’s pretty potent.
Lots of trust proving points between them. All is gooooood.
Not sure if other character comments are supposed to go here, but I will be back just in case I can drop them off.

Bo-PeepsParticipantChiming back in briefly. Thank-you for the welcoming hellos.
Well, that was fun! Good to see the troops back in new action~ no matter if everyone pretty much knew the plotline anyway. :)…and they managed to jam a lot in there as always. Sometimes too much, but they are setting up an entire half season, so they had to address tons of stuff. Fast. Plot blips and some deja vu dialogue, BUT…
GREAT camera time for the passionate Captain and his *love*. They were true to their characters and then some. So glad to see Hook being eye brow raising ornery still. And Emma as stoically stone faced as ever. Only Emma could shrug off a serious boyfriend turning into a red eyed flying monkey that she just pounds into smithereens with a baseball ball (conveniently located on the rooftop) with such aplomb.
Killian, eh? Yeahhhh, she missed you, you sly…scoundrel. (grin) And fell back into a very familiar and easy affection with you instantly. It’s all good. And she trusts you totally with Henry. HUGE step.
The very special relationsip between Hook and Emma has remained very much intact, with all expected sassiness still alive and more than well. Just some very warm and fuzzy comfort levels introduced, as well as the ever present suggestive, thought provoking *eye acting*. I wouldn’t worry about the missing hug. It’s still here for all Internet eternity
Outside of basically knowing what was going to happen because of three months of frenetic spoilers and pics, film makers(and TV producers) often advertise scenes that never show up in final cuts. Movie trailers are habitually guilty of this annoying tactic all the time. It isn’t honest, but it is a way to generate interest. (Including it in screeners, then perhaps denying it was in the script goes a little beyond *ooops* territory because then the writers are skirting a different, maybe even dangerous, issue) We, as viewers ought to be quite used to being victims of marketing white lies. A&E are no exception, and have mastered the say nothing but imply everything tease (some would call it something else!)
But the scene has been set. Hook and Swan. It’s got great places to go and grow 🙂

Bo-PeepsParticipantHello Swookers, Hookans, CSers, Emillians, etc etc (grin)
First post in this forum but longggg history of fandoms, the Internet and beyond. In fact, I’ve been around since Shipping Wars were nothing but pricing/service differences between USPS, Fed Ex and UPS !!
Just wanting to pop in and say how much I enjoy the passion and positive joy of CaptainSwan here. Other than having an extreme…fondness…separately for the Luscious Leathered Lieutenant and wall- building Empress of Denied Emotions, I believe they are quite the perfect (and destined) pair of lovers. (to be)
I hope that A&E stay true to the path they have laid out so pointedly and carefully for Hook and Swan to be one seriously fun and adventurously tortured couple. They are a kick in the sassy pants to even more mature, (wink) diehard and hopeful Romantics still able to enjoy the journey to find meaningful love.
…As we all wish. (slow smile)
And the visuals are most enjoyable, too, yes?
I’ll be reading and watching, and smiling about your enjoyable forum here with a very affectionate and somewhat nostalgic heart.
Grin
