Bo-PeepsParticipant
Nice to see your work again Killian 🙂
The creativity of this fandom continues to impress.
Two more days until we can throw ourselves back into the full-on, fantasy fun. Even with all the spoilers floating around it will be good to have the actual story being told outside of speculations and *they should have*, *how dare they* discussions. Characters I love will most likely remain loved.
I prefer just letting the story they tell lead the way. As long as I am entertained still, there will be no channel hopping, remote throwing and message board defensive uber drama. It is and never will be my story to tell…just going to go along for the ride and escape, or not. I intend to enjoy the heck out of every moment that speaks to me. 🙂 and hope those with the means and expertise to continue to post the lovely visuals and creative clips. Life is truly too brief for continuously pi**ed on Cheerios on the menu.
Happy Weekend to all the CS ers dwelling here! It’s all good.

Bo-PeepsParticipantThe response-“.. I’m happy to debate with rational people of differing opinions- I cant debate with stupidity” is the surefire vapid mantra/supposed insult of someone posting online who has absolutely nothing intelligent to say and can’t handle truth (grin).
Countdownnnnnnn to Adventure!!!Three DAYS more before beloved chaos enters our TV lives again.
This will be one sweet weekend. 🙂

Bo-PeepsParticipant“They” AND what they say, do NOT matter. No one really cares what they think they know.
Why they obsess over dead Neal…does not matter. They mean NOTHING in the scheme of ONCE things. They have NO control over anyone’s joy, even their own.
“They”. aren’t. important.
But boy howdy, those fabulous pretties sure are meaningful. My eyes are overflowing! Me likey the HOT leather dude’s face AND the struggling tortured soul, AND the snark and the wit, and the accent, and the loyalty, and the devotion, and the pain, and the heart and the angst and the deliciously romantic delivery of a splendid vocaulary and the aura and the guyliner and the eyes and the depth and the resilience and the courage, and the faults and the fine, oh so fine determination and conviction of his love…and the unshakable hope he has that he can be a better man, a deserving man, an honorable man. For Emma, but mostly for himself.
Thank yoooouuu (even though that one where Emma and Hook share an eye is kind of spooooky. HEH)

Bo-PeepsParticipantNot too long now, Sportsfans!! The *sport* of angst embracing, leather dude loving, Emma encouraging, laughing, shaking our heads in wonder and talking directly to the TV screen are soon upon us 🙂
Lots to digest and speculate, but as always, an adventure into someone else’s head and heart telling a twisted tale.
Kisses and monsters and mysteries, oh MY. Thanks for the yummy smooch visuals and links. The Hook is back? Hmmm, it sure is extra LONG in those spoiler pics, could be our pirate has to ease his way out of using it by still using it even with a newly returned hand? Wasn’t it hanging in the Sheriff’s office earlier??? The only surefire thing we know is that we don’t really know anything (grin) I miss the pirate coat of course, and the ship, but…we move onward. Looks like Emma is finally going to get herself a BFF in Elsa. What a match!
Fun fun fun, Saturday with Jamie and Claire (talk about serious angst!) ending for the first half and ONCE cranking up on Sunday for the beginning. A good weekend all around 🙂

Bo-PeepsParticipantSo, when we say haters are such a Paine…it won’t be a typo (grin)
***Always in search of a good flock***
Bo-PeepsParticipantOh Baby oh Baby, Pretties out the Wazoo!
One Thousand Years…gotta be in the top (rotating) three favorites. I thank you, surayya from the depths of my visually needy heart 🙂
***Always in search of a good flock***
Bo-PeepsParticipantPoM, surayya…YES, I agree. Anything that brings back the snark and tension b/w Hook and Rumple is great for the show. And with the dagger not being in Rumple’s control… this is a good thing for Hook’s life expectancy! It will give reason for him to stay on Belle’s good side, too…Heh
Thanks for all the links obisgirl. You did a super job on all the premiere updates!
And the pretties posted are, as always, sucked up like a creme brulee milk shake (grin)
***Always in search of a good flock***
Bo-PeepsParticipantHonestly, these Hook detractors are so totally obsessed with him they must have a borderline psychological love disorder- insecure, immature girls who are so afraid of his sensual and sexual attraction that they have to constantly attempt to denigrate him ~and anyone else who CAN “handle” the heat and fun~ so they don’t feel so threatened.
Any excuse will suffice.
If they were secure and mature they would be able to focus on something that brings their life more positivity. They would expend their energy on enjoyment instead of stalker-like, lip-curling and decidedly childish perceived insults. In simpler terms, they are creepy. Kind of like the Westboro Baptists of the fandom.
When people compulsively hang on to something they find distasteful or constantly highlight what they think is ignorant or stupid, when the answer is to concentrate and incorporate something into their life that does makes them happy, it is their own ignorance and stupidity that is on display.
***I fell prey to demon temptation and read the spoiler synopsis :)~ and Sunday will be …enjoyable 🙂

September 21, 2014 at 2:17 pm in reply to: Jamie and Claire~Outlander Fans…watch the Premiere online. #282915Bo-PeepsParticipantThey have stayed so true to the soul of the literary characters. Visually, they’ve hit the jackpot with their actors choices, too.
I remember reading The Thornbirds when I was a young teen and being extremely annoyed when they made it into a miniseries and cast an actor who didn’t look or act a thing like Father Ralph of the novel. Oddly enough, Father Ralph was a sultry, dark haired, blue-eyed Irish hunk (hmmm) and they got a pale, beige, wishy-washy American TV actor to portray him. Grrr. Not so with this series…the portrayals are amazingly true to their creator’s vision.
Dougal is a highly-controlled weapon of mass destruction.
His portrayal is quietly and deeply full on, but in that supremely self-serving, realist passion is the element of deadly treachery. Some honor definitely exists in him, but he is still a very crude, self-indulgent chauvinist beyond the *faux* honor -towards -women illusion of Celtic gallantry.
He fascinates but he is instantly lethal at any second. His honor doesn’t come from a loving soul, as Jamie’s does.
Jamie is starting, now, to think like a man, act like a man and hold his own as a man in Dougal’s world. A dangerous place to be. Both he and Dougal know this as well.

Of course, the written source is already exquisite, but still, the amazing talent and skill of recreating the magic is top quality.
design, acting, execution.
the stuff that art is made of.
today…and probably in a small part of my soul, everything is Gaelic!!!
Even knowing what I know is coming, it is still mesmerizing.
