I know Grace being a pig was a joke, but it reminds me of the chapter in the original novel in which Alice goes to the Duchess’ house. The cook keeps throwing things and the Duchess is screaming, so the Duchess’ baby is crying. Alice takes the baby and as she’s carrying it away, it actually turns into a pig. 😀
