ParticipantFavorite:
Hook. He was amazing during this entire episode. I like him more and more each time.
Emma and Elsa and their relationship and Emma finally embracing who she is.
Snow Queen. She’s been a great villain so far.
Least favorite:
Outlaw Queen. I liked them in the third season, but can’t stand them in this one. I don’t mind them getting together, but the way they are going about it is just awful. “Sure Regina, I’ll help you with finding a book author so you can make him give you a happy ending. It’s not like I have a dying mother of my child to think of”. It’s one thing for him to be cheating on the side while his wife is dying (which is still bad in my opinion), but for him to invest all this effort into the stupid book plot which is definitely something that doesn’t need to be done right this instant, while Marian is lying Frozen and he’d not really doing much to save her….yeah I doubt the writers can do much to salvage this couple for me at this point. Don’t even get me started on Snow being”adultery is totally OK, Regina”….ugh…just no
Rumpel: I am not sure there are any words to express how angry I am with Rumpel in this chapter. He’s done some pretty bad things by now, but this one takes the cake. He’s not even conflicted, he’s a full on villain now. I so wish for Marian and Belle to realize what’s happening with their husbands and kick them to the curb.

ParticipantAm I the only one who’s happy they’re married lol? I’m a little bummed still that Rumple lied but let’s be honest, he’s never going to be COMPLETELY good. Maybe in the very last episode lol. The truth will come out eventually and drama will ensue but for now I’m going to enjoy my favorite couple being married finally! I thought it was perfect that it was just the two of them and that Archie and Moe were there. And I thought the vows were amazing!
No, I am too. And I am still upset at Rumpel and really don’t want Belle to let him off easy for this. But the wedding was perfect. I don’t regret it at all 🙂

ParticipantSo it would be favourable for someone else to have the Dagger instead? The fact of it is that SOMEONE has to have custody of that thing, and whoever that someone is, will have the ability to control him if they so desire. Bobby has said that the farther away from Belle that Rumple is, he more lost he is. If they’re back together, he should be pretty centered, he wouldn’t be a loose cannon, he’d be striving to be the best version of himself, which is what Belle inspires in him. But he’s no angel, and he has his weaknesses, and I daresay he wouldn’t trust himself with the Dagger right now even if they did offer to give it back to him. So it’s gotta go to SOMEONE. Someone Rumple trusts to not abuse the power that comes along with it. Someone the whole town trusts to not abuse the power that comes along with it. I think Belle is the ideal candidate. She wouldn’t actively USE it to stop him from killing Zelena. He’d hold off on killing Zelena of his own accord because he knows that Belle trusts him to not kill Zelena and he’s trying to be a good person because that’s just how Belle inspires him.
No, I don’t believe anyone should have the dagger except Rumpel. I would be beyond disgusted with anyone who would even think of keeping it. He spent a year with a lunatic holding his dagger and now, when finaly her control over him is broken the dagger is once again in the hands of someone else, worse even his family. If they aren’t going to use it at all, why have it in the first place. I wouldn’t like anyone having that kind of power over me. What kind of relationship would Rumpelstiltskin and Belle have if she had the thing that controls him in her hands. And even if he just gave Belle the dagger I don’t believe that would be smart. 1. once again, what kind of relatiohship is that and 2. anyone who wanted to control Rumpel again would go right after her to make her give them the dagger. People are given free will for a reason. If Rumpel just held of on being evil because she had his dagger, how can he really be good. Reminds me of the conversation Regina and Mr. Gold had in “Welcome to Storybrooke” when she was angry that everyone in town is doing everything she wanted. She said: ” They do it because they have to, not because they want to. It’s not real.” That’s how I feel here.

ParticipantBut that would mean she’s controlling him even if she just uses the dagger for stopping him from killing Zelena. He should be able to make his own choice, and honestly I woud never look at Belle the same if she so much as held the dagger out of his reach let alone did anything with it.

ParticipantHa ha. Well in all fairness Little John was a terrible shot, so maybe this was how they were honoring him 🙂
Rumbelle!!!!! I could watch them all day.

ParticipantAs someone who’s been rewatching season 3a I don’t believe for a second that his death was anything but recent development. There were no indications whatsoever that he was going to die. On the contrary, all things were pointing in the opposite direction. For one: he already “died”. First episodes of the season were dedicated to characters mourning his death (which was done million times better than this time around). It seems kind of pointless to mourn a character and then learn he is alive only to kill him again a couple of episodes later. Than there were the small moments: Rumpel telling Bae he can have a happy ending, Bea telling Henry he now has a father till forever! and than when they were saying goodbye in “Going Home” he said he will see Henry again. He never did!
It is clear that whatever happened happened after 3a was finished and they changed there intended plan. Maybe we will never know why they did it. I don’t believe it was story driven for a second. There is literally half of the others they could have killed that would have made more sense. If they killed him when the series ended or if they actually made a sense of killing him than maybe I’d believe it. But they barely showed him in 3b, there were no flashbacks to just Neal’s life and he died in the most ridiculous way. It was so clear they just wanted to rush his death, because there was no build up to that moment where he used dark magic to bring back his father. I could understand the writers wanting to show the story of Neal being so desperate to get back to his family to make the same mistake his father did and that way for him to finaly understand the things his father has done, but the thing is….they didn’t show that. If they had built up to that this entire season and showed Neal having no other way and being desperate to do anything to get to them and than doing what he did could even make sense. But no. He knew it was a trap, he didn’t even try anything else (Belle sugested there could be another way), and just went for the dark magic in a heartbeat when he avoided it his whole life.
What’s even worse is the way he actually died was even less meaningful. He died so Rumpel could tell them who they are up against. What??? Are you really telling me Rumpel couldn’t summon a single moment of lucidity to just say Zelena’s name? And they couldn’t find some way to save him when everyone and their mothers have been revived in this show? Plot driven.Yeah, right…..

ParticipantOK, I’ve gotta say it. I thought it the first time I saw Quiet Minds, and I thought it every episode since. The response to Bealfire’s death was too mild. I’m not even going to talk about the last episode and” I am ready to let go of the past” which is probably the biggest OOC moment for Emma to date…but even in the episode he died it was ….meh for me. My biggest shock was Rumpel. Emma at least had a propper reaction but Rumel’s reaction was too mild for someone who spent 300 years looking for his son. He was just “nothing we can do”… That’s definitely not the Rumpel we know. He gave up too soon, barely even spilled a tear. His reaction to Neal’s death in 2nd season was way more in character. Oh well, why am I shocked? It seems they’ve all moved on. Let’s not dwell on it, right? The awful thing is I really like Hook but the way they are just shoving CS down are throats makes me dislike him every day more.

ParticipantSecond one

ParticipantPoor Rumpel, you can see how awful it is for him to have to do her bidding. But the slap was awesome. 🙂
