ParticipantWhat truly is heartbreaking for me is that Rumpel was there to see Neal die, even worse he closed his eyes. Somehow this was worse for me than when he was just informed of his death. Yeah, he got to say goodbye, but to see your own child die in front of you…… Suddenly I had a flashback of little Bae and Rumpel…. Awful, just awful….

ParticipantI think it’s going to be a boy, as for the name that one is difficult because they could literally use any name but I am going to go with Charming’s father name.

ParticipantSad day for Neal fans. 🙁
Both Neal and MRJ deserved better. I don’t believe for a minute the death is plot driven. He was the main reason for the curse and everything that followed in the first place, Rumpel’s son, Henry’s father, Emma’s love interest…no story left to tell for him? Yeah, right! There are billion of other characters on the show they could have killed and who have far less significance to the story. They “revived” Blue and Archie but Neal they just kill off easily. The saddest thing is that they didn’t even bother to write the episode, and he pretty much died for no reason what so ever. If he simply died after because he brought Rumpel back that would make some sense, but he just died because they needed the WW’s name. Completely pointless! Are you really telling me they couldn’t have found some loophole and separated them while keeping Neal alive? And poor Rumpel, when I saw him how he came back in that cell…. 🙁 He saw his son die after everything he did to find him and even worse he died because of him. Too much…..

ParticipantI get your frustration, but like Rumpelsgirl said they keep leaving out these important moments out of the show. It is sad Adam and Eddie don’t think it’s important to include them. Personally I am more upset that none other than Archie comforted Belle when Rumpel died in the midseason finale. I agree that comforting could have happened off screen between the episodes but there was really no excuse to not show it at that moment. There was the destruction of town to think about but still…..
P.S. I think hell would freeze over before we see Regina comforting Belle for Rumpel’s death. 🙂

ParticipantLeast favorite moments from tonight’s show……all the moments where nobody seemed to care that Rumple is “dead”. They don’t mourn. They don’t rejoice. They just don’t care one way or another. He was a bad guy, but come on, at least acknowledge that he helped save you all from Pan’s curse. Dreamshade cure, etc.
This 🙂

ParticipantI am starting to believe more and more that Neal dies. Which makes me really sad. 🙁 At this point I would trade any other character for him (except Belle). I know nothing is confirmed, but not seeing Neal anywhere, the graveyard scene with everyone but Neal there, and this article ( Hook “not going anywhere” ( honestly it seems to me like Adam is doing damage control) and when asked about Neal they are like “his character will grow”and then go to say Graham also had growth…. really????). They may be fooling us and if that turns out to be true I will be more shocked than I ever was. But I doubt it. Usually when spoilers come this way they are what they seem to be. I remember for example when someone posted a spoiler during the filming of the last episode of the 2nd season that Rumple left Belle in Storybrooke and when Adam was tweeted about it he was like “it may not be what it seems” or sth like that and all the while I am thinking “yeah, right, it’s exactly as it seems”, and I was right, so I’m not holding out too much hope now.
What I do know is if they kill off Neal I will never believe in a million years that the death was story driven. If it was someone like Hook I would believe it (even though I love Hook and I really don’t want him to die). But if it is him I don’t care how many times Adam says it was planned, I won’t believe him. Fake killed him ten episodes before just to kill him again now? They couldn’t even make some very minor deaths stick like Blue Fairies, but hey lets kill one of the most important characters and pretty much the catalyst for the whole story? Yeah, not buying it! Sorry, I don’t want to bring anyone down, just trying to express my opinion.
