I think you are right, it is a dream sequence. Looking carefully at the birthday party stills, Mr. Gold does NOT have his cane in his hand in any of the shots. In the Belle dream sequence back when she dreams about Gold giving her a necklace, then kisses him and Grumpy comes into the shop (I think it was “The Crocodile”), if you look closely, Gold never has his cane in his hand then either.
Ooh 😯 good observation. I didn’t even notice it.

ParticipantNo, trust me you’re not the only one. 😆 If we’re lucky we may just get to see it. 😀

ParticipantI am now 99% sure that the birthday thing is Gold’s dream. I thought it the first time I saw the pictures and now with Adam’s twitter answer I am convinced. Besides the fact that Regina isn’t there the fact that Henry’s birthday is that soon and more than anything that they are celebrating it in Gold’s shop seems to indicate it’s just a dream. It just doesn’t make sense to me. My guess is he dreams harming Henry (that’s why they are all so shocked in that one picture) and wakes up from a nightmare. I believe It was mentioned by Robert previously that Henry being his undoing will be mentioned once again in this episode and that he doesn’t know what to do. On the bright side if I am right we might get to see what Mr. Gold sleeps in. 😉

ParticipantI am so glad. If we couldn’t get Jane at least we’re getting the next best thing.

ParticipantYeah, it does make me feel better when everyone keeps saying we’re getting season 3. The truth is I really don’t know anything about ratings and before this show I never, ever worried about them. Now I find myself worrying constantly. It’s by far my favorite show on tv, if it was up to me it would run for 20 more years. Sad to see people quiting on it. They do have some moments that are not so great, but then again they have moments that are beyond amazing. I just hope we can get more of those.

ParticipantThis is just such a major ratings drop. Not just for this episode, but in general starting from In the Name of the Brother. At first I really thought it was just a major competition, but now….. Maybe if we’re lucky they can rise because it’s the last 4 episodes but I doubt it at this point. I remember when months ago Jane had an interview and said the show is doing really, really great. Wonder what she would say now…….Kitsis and Horowitz really need to take a hard look into the show, and fix whatever is wrong next season if there is one.

ParticipantGreat, just great 😥
At this point I’m not expecting anything anymore…..

ParticipantI don’t know was this said before but, as we know August will be a boy at the end of ths episode which seems a little bit to convinient for some people, mostly Tamara if she does have something to hide and August is the only one that is aware of that. Also she may be responsible for the fact that he's dying in the first place. I mean I know he's wooden but he seems alive and well. Why is he suddenly dying in Storybrooke? Pinocchio could live just fine as wood so my guess is someone does something to him. Is it her or someone else we will see.

ParticipantMakes me think of the poor Jefferson. He said to Emma he was stuck in the house for 28 years with every day being the same. I would have totally lost it by the time Emma came to town. Even though each day wasn’t exactly the same and there were visible changes the main aspects of the day couldn’t have changed all that much if after 28 years Mary Margaret was still giving that bird house lesson. If Archie Hopper passed by me every day and kept saying the same thingg would have strangled him in the end. 😆

😮 Rumple is such an please avoid obscenity. Snow White just saved his life and he just got back Baelfire! Nothing has changed with him. The fact that he views Snow (and possibly Henry) as collateral damage is very disturbing and dark. Also, that clip of Rumple and the Charmings makes me wonder if he didn’t intentionally allow Regina to make Henry think he loves her. In Rumple’s mind, it might be for the best of Regina regained custody of his grandson and so removed him as a potential threat to him.
Exactly what I’m thinking.
