ParticipantWhat do you guys think they’re talking about when they say Rumpel does something in the season finale that forever changes the relationship between him and his son. Not sure do they mean it in a negative or positive sense but former seem more likely.

Hello all, this is my first post….
germanpearl, I’m definitely in the “they did” category. Either way is possible, of course, but I doubt that a grown woman and 300-something year old man who are madly in love would share the same bed (there was definitely an imprint on the pillow where his head should have been) and do nothing but make goggle-eyes at each other. Especially since she was wearing a nightie the size of a hanky. And she looks like Emilie de Ravin.
Anyway, I know that’s an old debate but it does play into what I think now….I actually disagree that Rumple won’t let things go too far and then stop himself from giving in to Lacy’s advances. (I’m assuming there will be advances from her, due to the suggestion of “sexy times” and her nickname “racy Lacy”). I think the opposite. I think that Rumple will TRY to be good, but….well, we all know he ain’t that good! 😆 If the woman he loves is throwing himself at him when he’s been trying so desperately to get her back, I really can’t see him turning her down. I certainly don’t think they’ll SHOW anything graphic (Sunday night programming, after all) but I so think that’s what’s going to happen.
Of course, this may be wishful thinking. In two seasons we’ve seen a total of 3 Rumbelle kisses and one of them was IN A DREAM. Arrrrrrrrrrghh! 😡
Completely agree with everything.

ParticipantI love him. He is my favourite character from the show. Not sure he falls under the good ot the bad cathegory he is more a grey area. I mean he is no saint but I always thought Regina is way more evil than him.

ParticipantWhen did the soldiers say that Bae isnt his son? I remember the Dark One asked him did he ever wonder is Bae his son and he called him a bastard but I dont remember the Duke or anyone with him mentioning something like that.

My one main criticism with “Skin Deep” is, although she stated she’s been there months, that the story seemed rushed. This series seriously likes to drag stuff out and BAM! the whole story happens in one episode. I realize why they did it that way story wise. And it makes sense, but anothe part of me thinks it would have been more impactful if they had drug it out like Snow’s story.
I think the reason it seems so rushed is that they only had 40 something minutes for that episode. I heard that Skin Deep was 18 minutes over the time limit so they had to cut out some scenes.

ParticipantI would love to see that happen but find it unlikely. Even if it does happen I doubt that it will be during the series but rather during the ,,and so they lived happily ever after,,. If the magic that Rumplestiltskin released turns him into the Dark One again they wont be able to kiss let alone make babies 😳 . But who knows we are talking about fairy tales . Anything might happen.

ParticipantHe didnt know who he was. The writers confirmed it in an interview. When he heard Emma’s name was when his memories came back. That is why he wanted to know her name

As wonderful as it would be for Mr. Gold and Belle to live together, I have to wonder about Moe. How will Belle react when she learns that he was beaten up by Mr. Gold? It does depend on her feelings toward her father. But I don’t see Maurice as a horrible father–that is due mostly to the fact that he is still underdeveloped an a character. And we know that Regina lied about Belle dying. The possibility of Maurice banishing Belle is still open, or perhaps Regina had come along and either threatened or managed to convince him to give Belle to her.
I agree with you. I voted for Mr Gold but there is that problem of what will happen when she finds out what Rumple did to her father. I think she is very close to him and I believe that everything Regina said about how her father had hurt her was a complete lie.

So, I’m a little dumbfounded at Rumpel’s response to Belle concerning him brining magic into our world.
I TRULY believed that he realized the price of magic after telling people copious amounts of times it’s consequences, him losing his son, and Belle. Like… part of me wants to believe that it’s for a good intention, like breaking a bigger curse, or stopping something WORSE from happening, but the way he says “magic is power” maliciously, makes me think otherwise.
I don’t know…. I wonder what would have happened if August really was Bae in “The Return”.
Thoughts?
I think the reason he needs power is to find his son. I believe if August really was Bae that he would have given up his powers for him. I dont think anything changed just because it turned out that August isnt his son.

ParticipantI noticed a bit of venom in her voice when she told Gold that Regina had locked her up. I suspect that Belle is not the same person she was before she was imprisoned. I would imagine that being unjustly locked up for at least 28 years (plus however long she was imprisoned in FTL before the curse) would change a person. And while I don’t think she has transformed into evil Belle, she is in the perfect position to become the axis of righteous rage (similar to the Count of Monte Cristo) in the storyline.[/quote]
I read similar posts on other sites. A lot of them think imprisonment has really screwed up Belle. Some say she may become more darker and evil now although I really hope that doesnt happen. She was always sweet and caring and kind. I would hate to lose that part of her personality. -
