WHAT WAS SHE GOING TO SAY????
“Hook—” she stuttered. His face was so wrought with pain, and she almost felt like crying.
Until I met you.
The words pierced through her, making her feel queasy and giddy all at the same time.
“It is not important now, love,” Hook spoke softly, averting his eyes towards her parents, who were preparing themselves for their own reveals.
“But it is,” she responded, her gaze flickering up from beneath her eyelashes. “Did you mean it?”
She asked the question, knowing full well that the movement in the cave meant that it was true, that he loved her, cared for her, released a memory he’d held for 300 years for her. For her. Yet, she still needed to hear his confirmation.
Hook donned a crooked smile, and a breathless chuckle escaped his throat. “Every word.”
Emma’s eyes welled with tears, and for a moment she forgot she was in the Echo Caves, and that she was the Savior, and that she needed to save Neal. For a moment, she was just Emma, accepting this love that she wasn’t sure she deserved. She wanted to hold him, kiss him, confess her own feelings, but Snow began to speak. The pirate smiled reassuringly, his eyes never leaving her frame as she turned to give her attention to her parents.

Must’ve missed that… sorry @Vanessa! Hm to be honest it’s not at all plausible to me. I DO wonder why she went to NY though. When she first met Neal in Manhattan she said “why else would I be in New York???” and the line seemed a bit odd and out of place to me in that conversation. It sounded to be like she doesn’t like NY for some reason – and I’m wondering if that could be to do with her childhood or something. Guess we’ll have to wait and see! We may not get any explanation.

I hadn’t heard the ‘Emma in NY due to Beanstalk/NL adventure with Hook’ theory- that’s a different take on it, but as hard as I ship CS, I think it’s a bit of a stretch for me to buy into at this stage
