Yeah this is what i think too. My shipper heart wants her to turn to Killian about it

could u just imagine her on the beach or something like when David came to talk to her but this time it’s Killian reassuring her and helping her work through her issues

Do you ever just re-watch something and get super emotional then you have to talk about it!? That just happened. So bare with me.It’s simply imaginable what this scene meant on Hook’s end, to be of use, to be her partner because canonically, that’s what he is in this scene. They are sitting around a fire with her parents. Yet, he’s the one taking care of her with the subtle gesture of offering a drink and proving that he is in fact, always a gentleman. The fact of the matter is, from what we’ve seen on screen, Emma’s always taking care of others but with Hook, it’s all about her. I read somewhere that we often talk more about Emma’s happiness, but that’s sort of what’s so great about Captain Swan even right now when they’re not yet a couple. The thing with Hook is, he’s so in love with Emma that these little moments undoubtedly mean the world to him. When she allows him to be there for her, she gives him irreplaceable happiness.
His love is written all over him – the way he looks at her crystallizes how wonderstruck he is. Based on instances like this one, it’s gorgeously evident how immaculately happy loving her makes him. It ceaselessly inspires him to be better and because his world has been filled with such incandescent beauty, it’s impossible not to do everything in his power to be a man worthy of her heart.
When you think about it, this scene really isn’t that big of a deal, they kissed two episodes later and an elaborate confession followed, there was plenty of other things he could’ve done – ie: catch up with Tink (old friend right?) -, but as the audience, we saw him sitting next to Emma with the Charmings. They may not have been cuddling like Snow and Charming, but they were comfortably sitting next to one another sharing a drink, establishing a form of intimacy. These significant fragments tell the story. We get to watch them get closer, find hope with one another, and ultimately work as an unwavering team. This is a show about fairytales; therefore, most of the time, the hero and heroine fall in love rather quickly, but their pace is incredibly wonderful for a series. Their story is presented too gracefully not to find them enchanting beyond words.

“What’re you doing?”
“Getting ready for a fight.”
“I’ve never known you to need to get ready for a fight. I always though it was a natural state.”
