am impressed you read the SF thread – I peeked once or twice and I just felt icky afterwards.  The horror I feel about SF happening was just too much to stomach.  I am sadly wayyyyyy too invested in this ship.  LOL.

SAME! But i think i recall that @Aurora didn’t allow herself to get emotionally invested until she(presumably she) had gotten all the facts from both sides 🙂

I agree. Not to mention that he didn’t take any opportunity to tell her he loved her.

grumbles and complains about a fictional character not telling my baby that he loves her even though it was his so called ~biggest regret~ because clearly it wasn’t all that big of a regret at all since he hasn’t told her he loves her once since meeting up with her again

THIS. It would have been could be interpreted differently if they had her say “I love you, I always will”. THAT might have meant something for SF.

I don’t see how Emma saving Neal isn’t confronting her past. I think all the characters in Ariel did that, Hook, Snow and Emma.  Their darkest secret was thematically linked to their past.  And Emma’s confronting her past in the literal sense, talking to Neal in a cage about what seeing him again means to her now and why she wished that he was really dead.

And not to mention the dialogue they used in that scene.

I love you, i PROBABLY always will. I mean, that’s important. That indicates.. “I’ll probably always love you, even if we aren’t together”.

And then there’s the SF scene outside the cave. Where Emma says she “can’t change her feelings” about hoping he was dead so it would be easier to put him behind her. Honestly it seems like most SFers completely ignore this part of Emma’s dialogue and only focus on “I’ll never stop fighting for you”. And then a couple of episodes later tells her he’ll stop fighting fighting for her (bugging her) if she doesn’t show up for their date.

I mean….?

(i’ve totally broken my moratorium on not talking about SF lol oh well)
