There have been many Princess Bride references this season so far, with the sexy pirate Killian Jones finding his inner honourable man again, thanks to a certain lady Swan. The Neverland arc established that Killian is not only in love with Emma, but for him she’s his True Love. She made him find hope again, and we all know that finding your happy ending always starts with hope. Charming really should have warned ‘his mate’ that True Love’s Kiss never works, when your other half can’t even remember who you are. No wonder his attempt backfired, when he tried to make Emma remember.
Emma’s biggest character development during the Neverland arc, was that she finally started to accept that she’s worthy to be loved. Not only the love from her parents, but also from a pirate who’s fallen head over heels in love with her. Killian promised that “Not a day will go by, that I won’t think of you” just before they had to part. To which she replied “Good“. And in that precise moment, he knew that she cared for him. She’s the first person in over 300 years who actually cares about him! No wonder he was beaming when he saw his Swan again, as she opened the door a year later. She might not remember him anymore, but that’s just a matter of time.

Yeah i would agree with that. It gets easier to ignore the bad CGI as well lol 🙂
