Wow. And Neal wasn’t cursed! Dialogue is very important on this show. When they repeat stuff, generally it’s because it’s important and has meaning. Like how many times have we heard “hope” or a variation of it mentioned this season? Tons! I even go back through the transcripts at some point and do a tally of how many times we’ve heard that and who said it. I think I will do that.

And how many times have we heard the word “hope” with regards to Captain Swan? At least 5 I’d say!!

Yeah, great idea!!! Although the transcripts for 3A aren’t out yet I don’t think (I looked for some in order to get my parallel correct – had to go and find a link for the episodes so I could actually watch them lol)

Holy *stuff* guys I think I found a whopper of an anti-Snowing parallel (I started season 1 rewatch, was bored!!!). I submitted it to onceuponamirror in case it’s been said before but i’ll post it here:

1×03

• Kathryn said she didn’t stop David when he left her – it was “the worst mistake she ever made“
• She didn’t go looking for him – she assumed he left town
• she wanted to say something she had waited a long time to say – “i’m sorry”
• Kathryn to Snow/Emma “Now we get a second chance“

3×01 (inverted numbers interestingly) and 3×03

• Neal said he didn’t go after Emma when he had the chance – it was “the biggest regret of his life“
• He didn’t go because he assumed she’d never forgive him
• He wanted to say something he had waited too long to say “I love you”
• Neal to Robin in 3×03 “This is my second chance“

Um, it seems like a pretty big parallel to me… would you agree?

I also predicted that Bae told Hook about the dagger and was a Darling—and though I more specifically thought he was John Darling, it’s still more or less accurate. [x]

There’s definitely some stuff I got wrong, but in the details. In terms of overarching brush-strokes, I was pretty much right. 9 months ago.

That kiss was just so…I mean every time I see it the first thing I think is just wow lol

Yeah, it was legitimately the best kiss on the show for me, even better than the Rumbelle one we got in 2×22

I just have a lot of feelings about the kiss

Okay but everyone is suddenly describing the kiss and MURDERING ME HELP

This entire kiss is amazing, but these few seconds are my absolute favorite…Look how slow he is to cup her head, how exceedingly gentle.He slides his pinkie along her hair for a second, and then carefully places the next finger against her hair, and the next. He’s handling this kiss, this gift of touching her, like she is a holy object and worthy of veneration. And then, when she lets his hand fully rest against her head, he slides his forefinger along her hair again, tentatively savoring the silken slide against his work- and sea-weathered skin. You can see her arm move in the background, as if in response to his hand on her head, she shifts her fingers in his hair for a better grip. And that’s when his shoulders rise, like a person desperate to breathe, but afraid that moving any closer to her, letting the skin of their chests brush against each other, even in the slightest of ways, would either be too much for him to bear or in some way sacrilegious.

UM WOW SO THIS PERSON KILLED ME…………..

  

I just can’t get over this part of the kiss (and I probably never will)!

They stay there with closed eyes, noses touching, lips only a hairsbreadth away, both not able to comprehend what just happened because they both can’t handle it. Can’t handle the feelings the kiss elicited in them. Both are stunned, shocked, can’t believe it. But they are still holding on to each other. Even seconds after the kiss.

And even when they open their eyes they are not looking at each other. No!

They are both looking at each other’s lips, the urge to kiss again almost too strong. Even when Emma tells him that it is a one time thing she still sways forward, their lips almost touching again before she pushes him back. And the whole time their eyes stay at each other’s lips because they both feel the pull, the pull that is still there, that didn’t go away with the kiss. It even became stronger.

And Emma fights it, a part of her knows if she kisses him again there will be no going back because she is drawn to him and if she doesn’t put a stop to it now she never will.

So her brain tells her to speak it out loud but even when she says the words her body is still closing in on him, so she pushes him back as if she almost needs to force herself to let go of him.

The kiss was awesome. Passionate, hot, hungry.

But this moment … that is the moment they both realized that the feelings they have for each other are much deeper than they both thought.

This is the moment Killian realizes he has fallen in love with her, this is the moment Emma realizes that she has feelings for the pirate.

For these few seconds they had both dropped their walls. For a few seconds they were just Killian and Emma. Without their past. Without their scars.

And that is the beauty of this moment.
