Am going into extreme OUAT withdrawal. No spoilers or anything to tide us over. Ugh.
So i’m going to go crazy with the gifs etc. guys. Hope that’s okay lol.

The thing is … the end of “Going Home” was a GAME-CHANGER
Hook kissed Emma on the bare HOPE that True Love’s Kiss would restore her memories. There’s no going back from that. He just declared it to the world, with that one, that she is IT for him, that whatever he feels for her is strong enough that he believes the power of True Love might be enough to save her. This is no fling, this is no passing fancy. For him, this is everything. And this is after a year of being separated from her. A year of not seeing her face or hearing her voice yelling at him (except in his dreams) … and it’s still all for her.
No, the kiss didn’t work, but that doesn’t mean anything. The kiss didn’t work on Snow or Belle either, as has been discussed a billion times. That’s not the point. The point is, you don’t go in, guns blazing, thinking you’ve got a shot, risking EVERYTHING on this, if you don’t believe it.
From a plot standpoint — making him attempt a TLK on her — that pretty much says it all. For him, even after a year without her, she is it. She is the only one for him. There’s no competition for Killian’s heart, he’s made it known now, that he’s for Emma, and Emma alone.
From a writing and storytelling standpoint — you don’t take one of your most popular characters “off the market” like that, unless you plan for that to go somewhere. They’ve painted Killian into a corner with this — Emma or nothing. And he sure the *heck* isn’t gonna end up with nothing.
He loves her like Charming loves Snow. Like Rumple loves Belle. That is not some idly made storytelling choice, and it’s not something that is just gonna go away.
And the thing is, when Emma gets her memories back … she’s going to remember that. And where we go from there, if you’ll pardon me, well, that’s when the fun begins. Finally.

The only gif I would have swapped out in this set is the medusa thing for the troll bridge when Snow throws the bad fairy dust like Emma throws the poppies but other than that, it’s great!
I actually think this is MORE appropriate!!! That scene in 2×06 was about them acting as “quite the team”. In both of those scenes, Hook/Charming were distracting the “monster” so that Snow/Emma could take it out!
Soooo many parallels, and actually there are more than this lol.
