I just noticed something that I think is important. I can’t figure out how to paste it here but when the curse rolls in and Henry is looking back, the final shot shows that it has engulfed everyone but Snow, Charming, Regina, and HOOK!!!! Once again Hook is included with the Charmings but Neal isn’t – and this is even the last image that Henry sees before his memory is wiped away.

Okay, I’m sorry but this is officially my new headcanon
We have spoken about Killians face but look at Emma. Yes she is surprised to see this man dressed as a pirate at her front door but it is the look of surprise that she knows this face. She recognizes him. Almost in shock to see Killian.
Emma probably dreamt of his face. To her it was her imagination creating an image of man that didn’t exist. Now there he was standing in front of her. Saying her name. It took her by surprise that he could actually be real.
This could explain why when Killian kisses Emma she leans and closes her eyes for a brief moment. There is a part of her that knows him.
That same part the reminds her of who Killian is may also be the same part that reminds her that she like cinnamon on her hot chocolate and wear Grahams shoelace everyday. They are just important moments in her life that are ingrained in who she is and no memory loss can take it away.

No sorry 🙁 maybe she’s just reading in the park or something? Lol idk
The only thing I feel I can speculate on with any “authority” is how Emma gets her memories back haha

Okay, the way he looks when he says he can make her remember and then grabs her and kisses her – I could stare at that forever. It’s like that mirror in Harry Potter that people have stared at for so long that they grow old and die in front of it. That’s me. Growing old and dying as I watch that clip. At least I know what I’ll be doing during the hiatus.

To me, if Emma really wanted to have another shot with Neal or still loved him ‘romantically’ (because there is a BIG difference between loving someone & being ‘in love’ with someone IMO), the sentence structure would have been reversed- ie- something along the lines of ‘My secret is ‘I was hoping you were dead, because you hurt me so much, but I love you, I will always love you’ – to me that say’s ‘you hurt me, but not enough that I cant get over it, as my love for you is stronger than the hurt’- the 1st part might be true, but it’s the 2nd part that is actually the truth (I would have honestly been VERY worried for CS if they had worded the “I love you” as the but).
Me too!!! Agreed 100%. It’s all about the framing of the dialogue.
And kinda like that, I have an example: I was a tad anxious when the kiss sneak came out and there was no music. I knew when the episode actually aired that no music = not TL. BUT IT HAD OUR THEME SO ZERO WORRIES. 😉

We got so many CS moments – SF just doesn’t exist at all in a romantic sense, in a family sense – absolutely. But other than that, I honestly see nothing else from either Emma or Neal to suggest any kind of lingering romantic feelings.
I agree. I mean, they love each other and always will, but you can see that the love is changing to a very different kind of love – that between friends. At least that’s my opinion.
That goodbye between Neal and Emma was 0% romantic IMO.
Because that moment coupled with whatever happened in the year they were apart resulted in a very different Killian showing up at Emma’s door.
Omg yes, I so agree. It’s so interesting, because Killian and Emma have only known each other for a couple of months tops, and now he feels confident enough to go around trying to bestow TLK???? I think her “good” gave him SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much hope, it kept him focussed, focussed enough to not spiral at losing her or possibly never seeing her again.
I’m 99% sure Charming is the one who told him to try TLK, because he’s the only one who could have really. And Killian knew it was a “long shot” because I’m sure Charming would have warned him that it may not work, having experience with it himself.
Sooo, somehow Killian and Charming have become convinced that Emma and Killian are TL. HOW? I MUST KNOW RIGHT NOW. Possibly Tink, but there isn’t any fairy dust left??? Idk, soooo many questions.
Speculation alert: the back up plan to failed TLK must be to go to Neal’s apartment to see the dreamcatcher – this is how Emma will know for sure that Killian is telling the truth. Which must mean that Neal is in on this plan too!!!! Neal must ALSO think that CS are TL, or he’d be going himself.
And taking CS completely out of the equation, if Neal isn’t crossing worlds to find Emma, if he isn’t the one trying to give TLK…. well it just shows that he isn’t her TL. Because half the battle is the belief. And we have ALREADY been shown that Neal does not believe in his and Emma’s love “your belief in love wasn’t strong enough to overcome your fear of rejection”
And Killian, KILLIAN SEARCHED FOR EMMA FOR A YEAR, KNOWING THAT TLK WAS A LONG-SHOT, BECAUSE HE BELIEVED IN THEM

Also, did it break anyone’s heart when Hook asked whether Regina could stop the curse or if they should start cleansing their souls or something like that because his was going to take a while.
See, it’s what CSers have been saying for a while, we KNOW he doesn’t always like himself, whereas everyone else thinks he’s just a cocky pirate who loves himself.

My only beef is why did no one console poor Belle when she was hysterical over poor Rumple in the middle of the street?? I mean, not even a hug, a quick shoulder rub? Nothing?? Her boyfriend just vanished into thin air and is presumed to be dead having sacrificed himself to save the entire town and everyone just ignores her? Geesh!!
Maybe everyone was just in shock…?
