I actually teared up & I cried- I honestly cried this time- it doesnt happen often, but Emma, Killian & Regina knocked it right out of the park this time- heartbreaking stuff!
And Rumple!!! I cried when he kissed his father, even after all the crap Malcolm had put him through he still had love for him *sniffs* yeah, this episode was an emotional roller coaster, I cried the hardest at the scene where Emma KEEPS Henry – the love and happiness shining out of her face, ugh, I cannot think about it without tearing up
Killian’s eyes get intense & full of love as he says “There’s not a day will go by, that I wont think of you” Emma’s face loses some of the brokenheartedness as she responds “Good”. To which Killian responds with a beautiful, heart warming, hope fulled smile, & Emma responds with her own little bittersweet, tenderly hopeful smile as they gaze into each others eyes …. can I just say it is AMAZING how many times in one ep A&E can kill you dead with CS feels- they break your heart, you die of feels, your heart starts bleeding again, they have you explode with hope, then they kill you dead, before they build you back up for some more death by feels lol

I agree with everything you said about this. I mean, it’s fairly obvious what couple they want you to root for. I mean really.
Loved that we are proven right yet again, with Tink pushing the fact that Killian loves Emma, she may even be a bigger CS shipper than Regina is LOL

Oh, just another thought to add to the whole TLK thing….. would TLK even work in our ‘world without magic’?
I think it would.
1)When Henry was born Emma MUST have used magic somehow because the lights flickered. I’m pretty sure her emotions were all over the place. And Emma’s magic IS TL, so I’m pretty sure TLK would work, because if any magic would work in our world, the “most powerful magic of all” would.
2)The Dragon not only gave out magic potions, which I agree may not have been made in our world, but when Tamara confronted him about the potion he began to change form. So he could use magic in the land without magic.
I don’t know, hopefully we’ll get some answers soooooooooooooon 🙂 maybe we can submit a question to Matt at the Paleyfest about it

It’s not clear cut. It is very much, like someone noted earlier, like Han and Leia. “I love you!” “I know” – that’s one of the most accurately romantic lines ever! He didn’t need to say anything else because he said it non verbally, but audiences had several years of fangasming between Empire and Jedi to dissect whether he meant “of course you do, I’m the best thing since sliced bread” or “I know you love me and I love you”
Yeah I agree with this!!! But either way, it’s good for CS 🙂 COME ON you lean a bit towards Captain Swan, admit it 😉

I’m sorry if someone already pointed this out but… the episode was called “Going Home”, and it literally ended with Killian returning from the place he should’ve called his home and going back to Emma, because SHE is his home.

I’m working on a meta right now but I wanted to quote Charming’s letter to Snow here. I’ll finish my write-up on this and link it later but someone pointed this out on Tumblr and it is JUST TOO GOOD! Dearest Snow. I’ve not heard from you since our meeting and can only assume you found the happiness you so desired, but I must let you know not a day goes by that I have not thought of you. In two days time I am to be married. Come to me before then. Come to me and show me you feel the same and we can be together forever. And if you don’t, I will have my answer. Snow showed up and then had to turn him down and LIE to him that they could never be together and he STILL risked his life and went after her when the safer thing to do would be to marry Abigail. He couldn’t marry someone he didn’t love, his true love was out there, and her showing up even to turn him down made all the difference. The letter even said he’ll have his answer and they hadn’t even KISSED at this point. She showed up and it gave him enough hope and faith to track her down.

Let’s not go overboard! The details weren’t ironed out that far in advance and we have a lot of SFers here who are our friends and are as into the details as we are. There will always be those that dismiss what we see as important as we dismiss things they see as important.

And I just have to laugh
Not actually trying to be mean or anything I promise, I just find it amusing
But the parallels and foreshadowing are woven into the storyline – this is a planned story (evidenced by the fact that I predicted we’d be getting a CS kiss after the Snowing scene in 3×03 – and look we did! And we got a drink toast too) and the parallels and foreshadowing DO mean something
I’m just so happy right now 🙂
