Hmmmmm… found something interesting. Especially since we have confirmation that the pirate/navy doll was placed in Emma’s nursery on purpose. I think from that we can also assume that the beanstalk pictures etc. in her nursery were also placed there deliberately to foreshadow Killian. More possible Killian foreshadowing:
Marine garage.
A helm in the bakery window (a helm? in a bakery? a bit odd wouldn’t you say….. đ )
A pirate keychain.
But what is reeeeeeeeeally funny is that the men in all these three pictures?
Were pictures of her past suitors.
I don’t know. Seems like too much of a coincidence to me.

@annwyn – I wasn’t offended either! Agreeing with what everyone has said. I also think that the haters from both sides are actually the minority on both sides – they are in NO WAY representative of the whole ship, they just happen to be the loudest. I like to think that all of us here are nice and reasonable and rational etc. (although I can get carried away sometimes but that’s just a facet of my personality lol).
@oncemusicfan – love that you love the gifset! đI donât count Emma becoming a bail bondsperson or the saviour a direct result of that relationship. Neal was gone when Emma took control of her life to make it better. She did that on her own and Neal doesnât get to claim that and if him leaving her was the only way she could accomplish those things, it only proves my point â that relationship was not true love because it wasnât going to bring out the best in both parties when they are together.
This is a VERY good point. And it only outlines for me how Killian and Emma are so good for each other – Killian is constantly supporting Emma and giving her faith that, yes, she can save her son. He has also helped her open up to trust again. And Emma has brought out the Killian from the darkness of Captain Hook.
Emma has a beautiful smile and Hook seems to be the one that gets her to smile.
^^^^^^ I posted a gifset a while ago that shows Emma smiling in NL – she only smiles genuine happy smiles with Killian.
I know some people like to claim that Hook is only interested in adventure and try to discount him being an acceptable partner because in their eyes would value adventure over love, but I think he desperately wants a family and a place to belong, just like most of the other characters.

Hook/Killian has always been intended to be a romantic character – he became a pirate out of love to get revenge on his corrupt king, he became a villain out of love in order to avenge Milah, and he is changing again due to his love for Emma. Love is his principle driving force. Everything he has done has been because of love, or because he didn’t have love. I think, for me, his biggest flaw is his tendency to go straight to vengefulness. But AGAIN, that’s what makes CS so good together, because Emma has tempered that tendency – he gave up his revenge for her.
True love doesnât let you down, especially in your darkest hour. Â Emmaâs darkest hour was giving up Henry while she was in prison. Â Neal wasnât there. Â Nothing is going to erase that. Â He didnât try to come back to her once he knew she had broken the curse. Â He left her alone when she needed him the most.

My feelings on this subject are quite raw at the moment. The stills from 3×09 about killed me. All I can think about is Emma. I’m pretty sure i’m going to die from Emma feels in 3×09 despite it being Regina-centric.
But in fairness to Neal, he didn’t know about Henry. But I often wonder what he would have done if he HAD known.

Like, that sums up the entire thing perfectly IMO. I don’t see what Neal did as some brave, noble thing, and will never be able to, because the truth is that he left. Leaving her with no explanation, no choice. And he NEVER came back for her.
Hook waited 300 years for the true love to strike again. Â Neal fell in love with and got engaged with Tamara, even after knowing Emma broke the curse.
^^^^^^ And no matter how some on the other side twist and turn it, Adam has stated, Adam, the creator of the show, that Neal moved on and was genuinely in love with Tamara. There is no getting around it. It does not matter that she was a villain, it doesn’t matter that she was “fake Tamara”. He moved on and fell in love with the Tamara he knew. That’s it. End of story.
He compliments her, which must be nice for Emma who grew up without that affirmation.

But to me he seems to like and respect women.
I agree with this, especially women who are tough and resourceful like Emma. Apart from his scene with Belle in her cell, he hasn’t done anything that has bothered me. It will be interesting to see how Belle reacts to him once they get back to SB in 3×10. They seem to be working together in a few of the scenes in 3×11. If Belle can forgive him, then i can let it go, and that should also be good enough for everyone else.
I guess my point is that itâs supposed to fun and itâs all about a fictional show â sometimes I think people need to be medicated due to the degree of anymosity they hold toward people on the opposite ship.
I largely agree lol, but i do tend to get very protective of Emma, fictional character or not!

Iâm not too worried by the out come, so much as the fact that Iâm stoked that of all the couples to even get nominated from the show, let a lone then be the actual couple who makes it into the final round of voting for Peoples Choice, it was CS & like you say- they arent even a canon couple yet .

But you see, Hook wasnât able to really believe there was hope until Emma told him: âYou can join us, and be a part of something.â
And Emma was angry at her parentsâ optimism and not feeling hopeful at all until Hook told her: âAnd you will [save Henry]. Iâve yet to see you fail.â
These two cynical, broken people – they give each other hope. Enough hope to support Snow and Charming when even they, the biggest optimists around, seem to be giving up.
