If your heart is crushed YOU DO?!?!?! I can understand flashbacks, but him in SB wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.Jamie can always return as Sheriff Graham in flashbacks to Storybrooke before the curse was broken.

I wonder if Greg is a reporter…………
This reflects my initial impression (mentioned elsewhere in the forum) that Greg might be a food critic. Like reporters, they travel as well. I also suggested that HER on his phone could be his way of addressing/identifying a much disliked lady boss. We cannot assume HER is the person he was having a conversation with on the phone at the end, as we did not see who that contact was.
I am very interested to see how this plays out when the show resumes.

frankly it would be bizarre to have the same actor playing two different roles, especially in Once Upon A Time, it would make no sense at all
Yes, I agree that it would not make sense for Jamie to play both Graham as well as Hook during the same time line, especially when Graham is supposed to be dead. Like many fans, I was quite saddened when he was killed off, but Jamie could always return to the show as the Huntsman in flashbacks, as well as Graham to flashbacks of Storybrooke before the curse was broken.
Colin O’Donohue is a welcome, and very talented addition to the show who I think is going to stick around for a while. He makes an excellent Hook, just as Jamie made an excellent Huntsman. I hope very much that the latter will return in flashbacks, in future episodes.
carolanneParticipantI love reading all the different theories, and each one seems to have merit. My first impression was that Greg might be a travelling food critic (may explain pics of food in his phone), and that HER on his phone might be his female boss – one he intensely dislikes. I can imagine him hearing his phone ring and thinking, ‘Oh great, it’s HER again,’ so that’s how he assigns his boss as a contact. Also, it isn’t certain that he was talking to HER at the end. Actually, we don’t know who he contacted. Honey could be a girlfriend, wife, or even a daughter. What he said he saw could be anyone, or any thing. We’ll all be guessing for the next few weeks.
Honestly, I don’t know who Greg really is, or where he really comes from. I’ll only quote what Henry said when he brought his story book to the table.
“Frankenstein isn’t in here. It’s not even a fairy tale. That means it comes from another land with different stories. If the curse went to places with other stories, then who knows who else is in this town?”
carolanneParticipantOkay, if Neal is both Baelfire & Peter Pan – Is it at all possible that Hook and Peter met [in Neverland] and actually became friends, as opposed to enemies? In “The Outsider” when Hook is preventing Belle from stealing back Baelfire’s shawl, he says to her, “What makes you think his son wants to be found? I’m doing that boy a favour.” It hinted, to me at least, that he knew Baelfire very well, and that Baelfire shared confidences with him.
There are twists on this show. Here, Red is also the Wolf. Rumpel is also the Crocodile. It could be possible that Hook and Peter are good friends, not enemies. That’s my impression, anyway.
carolanneParticipantHope you have a great time with us. Welcome.
carolanneParticipantPersonally, I think Hook might try to get Belle to fall for his charms, but in the end, I think the writers will have Rumpel wooing her all over again. I think his genuine feelings and his determination will win her over. If all else fails, he can always rely on good old magic. He’s already concocted a potion that allows him to cross the town line, and that’s pretty powerful magic.
Okay, so as much as I feel Hook might try to charm Belle, I believe true love will triumph at the end. It’s the how and the when that will have fans speculating. I just hope this development is resolved by the end of this season, and not the beginning of season 3. That would surely drive me up the wall.

I have to wonder if while Rumple is busy in NY if Hook & Belle won’t end up bonding while in the hospital together. What a twist that would be! Ultimately, we want to see an end with Rumbelle but so much can happen before that.
My, my, I hadn’t considered this. Hook and Belle in the same hospital, Hook using his charms to manipulate Belle into falling for him because she would essentially be “meeting” Hook for the first time. Hook wouldn’t be genuine, of course, but the idea of a romantic development between the two would be even more devastating to Rumple. If Hook wanted revenge, that would be one way to go about it, wouldn’t it? By taking away the one thing Rumpel really cares about.
carolanneParticipantI agree about the marathons. I am planning on saving the last 4 episodes so I can watch them in succession. I don’t know if I can actually go through with it, the show being so addictive, but that’s my plan. In any case, welcome to the forums.

Carolanne, I’ll have to keep an eye out for that pirate symbol next time I watch. This kinda detail stuff is so fun to find, like a treasure hunt.
I agree completely. These days, I like to re-watch an episode just to see if I can spot something that might be a clue, or have a special meaning. And I know I’m not alone in doing this. Can’t wait for the next episode.
