I didn’t think of their kiss in Camelot being an attempt at TLK either, but that is a fantastic thought. The only problem I have with the thought that if they had kept the kiss going it would’ve worked, is this: with every other TLK in canon (except for Rumbelle’s in Skin Deep, which I can forgive because it was Season 1 and they were still working out the guidelines of magic for the show), we’ve had instantaneous gratification (short kiss, rainbow fwoosh, curse=broken). The length/intensity of the kiss hasn’t mattered in the past, so why should it now?
(Unless we’re gonna go with the explanation that TLK just works differently on the Dark One Curse, in that it takes more time for the True Love magic to turn a person light again since said person houses the embodiment of Evil and if they choose power over love at any point from getting TLKed to being completely un-cursed then it will reverse the process.)

There’s been some talk about how CS can’t be True Love now since the kiss didn’t break the Dark One curse, and I have to admit, I’m not totally sold on Belle’s argument that a curse isn’t a curse if someone chooses it. However, even taking the Dark One factor out of the picture, I don’t feel like CS has hit True Love yet. I think they’re well on the way to that point, but if one of them got put under a Sleeping Curse or something (again, taking away the Dark One factor), I don’t think a TLK attempt would work. So I’m not letting the kiss not working kill my hopes for Captain Swan. 🙂
Also, I LOVED that Killian didn’t stay with Emma after the kiss. I think that’s such a great illustration of how much his character has grown (Season 2 Hook would have stayed, I’m pretty sure).

I haven’t been on the forum much over the hiatus, and apparently I’ve got catching up to do!
Day 1: Favorite Female Regular – Skye (Or I suppose I should say Daisy, now… but is she gonna be called that by the team now? I hope not…)
Day 2: Least Favorite Female Regular – Raina *shudder*
Day 3: Favorite Male Regular – Coulson. I’m in love with Coulson. lol
Day 4: Least Favorite Male Regular – Ward. The first words out of my mouth the first time he showed up in the S2 premiere were “Kill it with fire”. Yeah, not fond.
Edit: I almost forgot! I’m LOVING Agent Carter so far. It was great to see Dum Dum Dugan last week, and the Black Widow training facility was terrifying and awesome. (I had a feeling that Dottie was shady from the minute they introduced her.) If there isn’t a second season of this show, I will be VERY put out.
I introduced a friend to AoS recently, and we just finished watching Season 1 last night. She’s getting really frustrated at all of my cryptic remarks about all the things we know by the middle of Season 2. 🙂

I’m curious to know what kingdom Queen Sonja hails from originally. (I think it’s safe to assume that the teal and purple coat of arms with the gold floral motif is the official coat of arms of the Arendelle royal family. It is displayed very prominently between Harald and Sonja, but you can also see it above King Olaf, who is Harald’s father. Therefore, Sonja would have married in to the Arendelle royal family.) *ponders*
Something I really enjoyed on an old fan forum I was on was a thread for playing Hangman. I don’t remember how we set a limit for when people had to stop guessing letters if the word/phrase hadn’t been guessed, but that could be figured out fairly easily. Then, whoever correctly guessed the word/phrase got to come up with the next one. We set up the posts thus:
Wrong Letters: A C F
S _ O _ _ _ _ O O _ _
This, for instance, would be “Storybrooke”. As another example, “Granny’s Diner” would be set up so: _ _ _ _ _ _ ‘ _ / _ _ _ _ _ .
Another forum I used to be on put on balls throughout the year. Invitations would be PMed to everyone a week before and a day before each ball. People could go into a special thread that would be open for a certain amount of time and post pictures and recipes for food and beverages, and also pictures of the outfit and accessories they would wear. The ball would progress as a role play type “game” so everyone could participate and mingle. The book series that the forum was for was about fairy courts, so there were four balls each year, on the solstices and equinoxes. Maybe we could have balls thrown by different monarchs, or themed for different realms? (I found a picture of a pair of heels on Pinterest that would be PERFECT for an Oz themed ball. 🙂 ) I can PM more details about the balls if you like the idea.

I was really excited to see that she was in Minnesota! (Though I am admittedly biased since that’s where I live. But I’m not in Hopkins, I’m a couple hours north. 🙂 )
So this is our third Minnesota reference.
1) In 1×02 (I think…), Regina goes to see Emma at Granny’s and gives her a basket of Honeycrisp apples. Honeycrisps were developed at the University of Minnesota, and are the Minnesota State Apple. (The actual apples in the basket were not Honeycrisps, but I digress.)
2) In 3×07, John and Michael’s car had Minnesota license plates.
3) 4×05, Young Emma ran away from her group foster home (in Boston?) and ended up in Hopkins, MN.
I love Once Upon A Time because fairy tales have always been my thing. When I first saw a commercial for the show I got SO excited about the concept. And of course, OUAT brought me here at the beginning of Season 3. (And it also brought me to the Welcome to Level Seven podcast!)
Emma is not only my favorite character on the show, but might possibly be my favorite character in general ever. I just love Emma. That is all.
Captain Swan turns me into a squee-ing puddle of happy feels and it’s wonderful. 🙂

I just… I really like this season… 🙂 (Also, does nobody actually read the contract that Rumple is having them sign? I mean, they think they make a simple deal, then the contract has like, TWO FEET of writing on it, and they don’t think they should maybe check the small print? *face-desk*)
