I didn’t think of them as brother and sister, but it’s an interesting idea. If they were brother and sister, though, you’d think grace being her niece might have come up. Obviously not in an actually loving aunt sort of way, but a uninterested “how is my niece?” seems likely instead of just calling her “your daughter” whenever she mentions him to jefferson.
Yeah point taken. She does stress the importance of family. Grace/ Paige is always refered to as your daughter. Then it has to be a connection to Jefferson, Regina and the Queen of Hearts, whom we know not of her identity. I think its either her sister or Cora.

I’m with you Midnight Dreary, I think that’s his whole focus. I don’t think he gives a fig what the townspeople think of him. All he’s interested in is his son. Which makes you wonder, depending how the finale works out and if he finds out about Belle, how will that effect his plans?
Well, it dependes. What exactly do you mean by that? I don’t think Belle will hinder Mr. Gold’s search for Baelfire. I’ve heard that argument before, and personally, it confuses me. 🙁 Can you elaborate please? 😀
The curse. We have only seen Emma, Henry and August come and go from SB. Emma did it twice, August and Henry once. We have never seen Gold anywhere but SB. Regina too. I’m positive that Bae is not in SB. He’s had 28 years to find him in SB and he owns the town.
charmingParticipantTrue but he is stuck in SB and if Bae is somewhere else that can’t be the prime focus at the moment. The first thing he needs to do is to get out of dodge and that is to have the curse broken so he can be released to find Bae. That was what I meant by side mission, It more like a secondary objective which he cannot get to untill he finishes the primary.

I think that Jefferson, a man of magic, could potentially act as a guide for Emma. It would be a great way to make him a regular part of the show next season. Once he has his daughter back, perhaps his sanity will be restored, especially if Emma helps him. IMO, Jefferson would be a much more palatable guide for Emma than Rumpel, who isn’t exactly trustworthy and may have an ulterior motive that isn’t in Emma best interests (e.g. her death).
On another note, I think it’s possible that Maleficent’s SB counterpart, who may remember FTL, may have a role in helping Emma break the sleeping curse. She did make it in the first place. She may tell Emma to wake Henry with a mother’s true love kiss.
Finally, I definitely called that Henry would eat the poisoned apple meant for Emma and that her kiss would most likely revive him, thus causing her to believe. Added to that are August’s words that only Henry could make Emma believe. The promo stills of the finale add weight to that in that we see Emma leaning over Henry's hospital bed to kiss her son on the forehead, followed by another still of Regina's hair being blown back by a force of wind, as if the kiss breaks the sleeping curse. In the promo, we also hear Emma say the magic words, “I love you, Henry.” Her true love will save her son. Also, the episode promo reveals that Henry's book is glowing as Emma touches it. I think that is the moment she actually believes and magic comes to SB.
Jefferson is not a man of magic. He needed Emma to make the hat. The hat in FTL already had magic. If he had magic why doesn’t he just get the heck out of where he is and why would he help Regina?
charmingParticipantI think he is leaving the same reason he tells Regina to leave. If everyone remembers who they are, they are going to be out for blood. Gold may not be in the book but they will remember who he is. Baelfire is just a side mission at this point, survival is a primary mission. Curse breaks they can come and go from SB and everyone will be all over Gold and Regina like white on rice.

Admiral Ackbar in Return of the Jedi.charmingParticipantTrue we can’t fault him for giving up. He is turning to wood and can’t really move around and Emma does not believe. It is his fault Emma does not believe and he knows it. He knew it was too late when he was in Phuket, Thailand and Emma showed up in SB. Can you blame someone who has not seen their father in many years to just want to reconnect. How much more convincing can he do for Emma. Right now it is up to her in that department.
charmingParticipantI am more likely to believe Jefferson is Bae than Bae being henry’s dad. If that is true there is a reason why he has not contacted Gold…..and that is they left not quite in good terms. He called Rumples a coward and telling him how he broke his deal with him.

We now know that FTL still exists in some form, since Regina spoke to Jefferson about the possibility of returning to it in episode 21. Before Jefferson even reached through the hat to a time and place in the past in FTL that was, Regina spoke as if FTL is a place that exists in the present. She mocked that Jefferson would have to return to his little hovel and sell mushrooms at market to support himself, or he could simply remain in SB in the mansion she gave him.
That is good point. It is also something new we’ve heard concerning FTL. Up unitl that there was only speculation of its fate post curse.
