In the Pilot when Charming and Snow visit Rumple in his cell. The moment the two of them removes their hoods remind me of the Star Wars ep 1 to 3 whenever there are two Jedis about to confront an enemy prior to fighting. Ep1 Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan when they arrived in the Trade Federation ship to meet the Viceroy.

I will say that if they are nothing at all only that of the hairs of Charming and Snow will play a part. It may end up being for something every single one of us had not thought of too.
charmingParticipantEmma came from FTL to our world in a magic wardrobe.
Right now we cannot confirm nor deny if Gold has magic. We know not a thing of what he is capable of.charmingParticipantWe like to think that those bottles are the dark curse but how do we know he wasn’t making the cure for the curse?? Are you going to create something like that and not create a cure? It could be the curse creation but also the cure creation.

Well still it is the best theory and is most likely right. Though they could just throw in some random usage that has nothing to do with anything and doesn’t relate to the greater plot of the show. And i think not showing a body is a whole different thing. I agree that no body means not dead, but just because something isn’t said and is instead implied is good evidence that it is the case. It was heavily implied that Emma is more powerful then you think and then they show Rumpel making the bottle of love heavily implying that that bottle of love has to do with why it is Emma that has power in the real world and that heavily implies that that bottle of love has to do with the curse.
With respect to the Dark Curse…we have a timeframe as to when it was created. Regina and Maleficent traded it Dark for the Sleeping. Maleficent seems older than Regina. Maleficent dealt with Sleeping Beauty when she was about the same age as when Regina dealt with Snow White.
Depending on how much older Mal is to Regina, dark curse was created before the Sleeping Beauty story and in and around the same time Sleeping curse too.charmingParticipantWho was surprised to see DA Albert Spencer in SB? Who was shocked to see Kathryn in the alley? Who will be shocked to see King Midas in SB?
Me. I never saw King George die so surprised more like a whoa. Kath, I knew she was not dead but was expecting her to walk in the courtroom at MM’s trial and say, “can I say something for the defense?” King Midas in SB. No. We do not know his fate nor did we on the two priors. There was no hard core evidence proving of their deaths. There was clear evidence of them being absent. Being absent does not make you dead in the tv world. That theory hold true for the bottles. We know the shoe fits but first you need the foot and then the shoe.

I am not disagreeing that we don’t know for certain that Rumpel bottled the love for the curse, but give us another reason? What purpose? The idea that it is for the curse fits the plot of the show. I would love to hear another reason.
I don’t profess to know. Yes it does fit. No denial there or anywhere. It even makes sense too. The mere fact that no character made mention of it means to me that all of our theories can hold true and it can all be thrown out of the window because the reason he has the bottles are of a purpose none of us thought of. That’s all. We can’t predict death without a body and the things the character does is not so until confirmed by 2 characters one of which is themself.
That said Bae being August fit as does, Pinnochio, White Knight and maybe he’s one of them or none of them. Just saying because the clues fit the conclusion but because there is no trail leading there you cannot say it is so until that trail is clear. All roads lead to Rome but but first you need to be on the road and heading in that direction.

I have never heard of the White Knight until it was mentioned on this board so if he is the White Knight then that is like being a non character in my opinion. That is not being someone so they could then do whatever they want with the character. I am fine with a non character fairytale character.
Have you ever read Through the Looking Glass? Glass is the second book of the Alice adventures. The first one is Alice in Wonderland. Lewis Carroll’s books are mathematic based with logic, equations and math theory. The first book was modeled after a card game; hence the Queen of Hearts, knave of Hearts and so on…. The second book was modeled on a chess game. Chess board being 8 squares by 8 squares. The rows are called ranks and she starts on the first rank and end in the eighth where she, Alice gets crowned a Queen after having checkmated the Red King by taking the Red Queen. The White Knight was her guide from rank 1 to 7. Going to the last rank she had to do herself and did.

What other purpose would Rumpel have for bottling Snow and Charming’s love other then something to do with the curse? You are right we don’t really know, but there has to be a reason, so what?
This is one of the tv situations. A character is not dea until you see a body. We never saw Kathryn’s body and forums blow up about this and that her being dead, I hope they don’t kill her blah blah blah. This is no different. Rumple is such that unless he says it we can’t tell what he does is for that purpose. Any character in this story. Unless they say it or another character said so it may or may not be true. Imaginations are great to have because I want to grow wings and fly around all day but I will never grow wings. I may learn to fly a plane one day.

In the theory I’ve promoted about August, his magic trumps Mr. Gold’s and he will assist Emma in strategically breaking the curse. So it would behoove August to scope out Mr. Gold’s shop and psyche to gain a competitive advantage. He does not need to be related in FTL to be in the shop in SB. Mr. Gold is appropriately apprehensive about August, since Mr. Gold has made many enemies. That does not mean that August has a vendetta against Mr. Gold, only a mission to break the curse.
Good point. Know your enemy.
