I also agree that August is really Pinocchio. When I re-watched the episode “7:15 am” the other week I thought it was interesting that the mysterious box that held his typewriter was made out of wood and looked like it was hand made and polished. Maybe the wood the box was made out of is the same wood that Pinocchio and Gepetto used from the tree that hid Emma, as well as the same wood that created Pinocchio, himself.
Ooo! I didn’t even think of that! Good catch! 😀
Yeah, wow…..I agree. I have not noticed either. Rewatch time! 🙄
[adrotate group="5"]charmingParticipantOk. Timeout. Parenting issues aside and custody issues aside. Back to Operation Cobra. We can deal with Operation Single Mom v. Married Mom and Operation Birth Mom v. Adoptive Mom another time. What till they actually have a custody battle and we’ll revisit this. Right now everyone in Storybrooke does not know who they are so the last thing on their minds is who gets what rather who am I?

I can’t imagine they would do Shakespeare, but they might have those character names in passing. Like having Pongo be the dalmatian. I don’t think they are ever going to do 101 Dalmatians, but i think it is a good passing reference.
Yes,I agree doing a story on Pongo would be like them doing a story on the bluebird.

Right now I can say it is like chess the pieces of the game board are being set up—-Operation Cobra. No real major moves are really being made right now—-phase 2 an un-named phase. Phase 2 and 3 all moves and positioning will happen. Phase 4 & 5 are the endgame and checkmate phases. Then winner takes all……..a happy ending>
Hmm, I’m really liking your version of chess right now. 😆 I’m anxious to see what phases 2 and 3 entail. I have a feeling the curse will be broken at the end of season 3 and then the next three seasons will revolve around the characters tryingt o get back to Storybrooke.
Yes, I am obsessed with Lost. 😆
Phases 2 and 3 are all of moves and positioning. Taking of pieces. Most of the dissappoint happens here. Oh….I lost my queen or knight!! Most of the upsets, untimely departures. Ends of minor stories and eliminations of minor character. Those moves and positions sets up the endgame and checkmate phases.

charming – do you mean that Emma and Henry act like children together?
I know that my opinion is not a favorite on this topic but that is part of what I struggle with in the whole “Emma will end up getting custody of Henry” scenario. While I do think that is obviously something that will somehow be addressed at some point – I wonder when and how because I do think that Emma and Henry act like kids together. BUT I think that has been done on purpose. I think they have made Regina the parent who adopted Henry as a baby and taken care of him but, as far as we have seen anyway, isn’t warm and fuzzy with him. Then we have Emma at the opposite extreme who is lots of fun to hang out with – the kind of person who would let you eat chocolate cake every morning for breakfast. She would love you like crazy and give you lots of hugs, but you might also be late for school every day and never have to wear a coat when it’s cold outside (although she would probably buy Henry a really cool leather coat).
I don’t see Emma being ready to be a parent yet – I believe she even said that in the pilot. Being concerned about Henry’s well-being, and being concerned that Regina isn’t the best parent doesn’t necessarily make her qualified to be a parent herself. At this point I think it would end up as some very bizarre situation where a woman who is raising her child is living with her mother – and her mother is the one who is really raising her son because she is the better parent. Only in our case the woman wouldn’t know she is living with her mother and the grandmother wouldn’t know she is really parenting her own grandson.
yes, well put.

Kitsis said to pay attention to the lemurs. Lemurs are animals that reflect light, which metaphorically could mean light = good. The did not reflect any light when August looked at them. Could this mean August is baddddddddd lol
Remember even members of the good guy squad can do good but have evil intent.
charmingParticipantCan anyone say or spell red herring. Those have red herring all over it. Like all red herrings they can remain so until one day when we least expect it there it is a real storyline.

I think Midas’ and Prince Thomas’ kingdoms are separate. I haven’t heard of a ‘high king’ mentioned in OUAT, one king to over rule all the other ones.
I understand as you said that they are separate kingdoms. I question at the time of Snow’ wedding to the curse; representatives of Thomas’ and Midas’ kingdoms are not present. are they under Snow and Charming’s control as one kingdom.
charmingParticipantHas anyone noticed; just on an aside not concerning Emma, that she and Henry at times acts like children together and the same with her and Mary Margaret. Henry and Mary Margaret; act as though they are grandparent and grandchildren except not quite because MM has not even accepted Emma as a daughter let alone Henry a grandchild. She wants more than Emma to treat Henry like ason than she’s willing to treat Emma as a daughter.
charmingParticipantTrue the lines between god and bad are very unclear. Every character has demonstrated both good and bad behavior which resulted in good and bad circumstances. Rumple/ Gold is clearly on one side and one side only; his own as well as his agenda. His endgame is unknown. His gameplan is undefined. His methods are unorthodox but gets the results. He’s the ultimate wild card. He’s likeable because he seems to have fun. That’s why we like him. What he does can border on the hate side. Remember he works both sides. Who know knows if he has a side picked or if he will ever pick one.
