Rumple’s request of Emma is probably much more simplier than we think. Emma is a Princess and Charming and Snow’s heir. She has the potential to be very powerful or is already. Rumple has done dubious things to others to get what he wants and to accomplish what he needs to do. Perhaps his request of Princess Emma is just simply to be forgiven for even pardoned for any wrongdoing. Rumple’s MO is that the ends justifies the means……what if the ends is that everybody who is still alive by the very end has their happy ending but getting to that end more people either gets hurt or even killed; only a royal can issue such a pardon for these crimes and that is Emma.

I agree with you about the BF. I don’t trust her. But as far as Geppetto and Pinocchio were concerned though, Geppetto made the decision after the BF told him that Snow White was going into labor early to send Pinnochio to the other world anyway.
I agree with everthing on the list execpt for separating Emma from her parents. That was entirely Geppetto’s doing. He extorted safe passage for Pinnochio in order to make the wardrobe, otherwise he was not going to do it. Given BF did not do enough to fix it but nevertheless blame for this falls completely on Geppetto and not BF. Besides you have to give this one to the BF.
I do think that there is potential for Bae being Henry’s father but eventually the writers can run the risk of writing themselves into a corner. There is more storyline possiblities if he were another man. There are limitations when you start making every character related to another one, plus you start entering into corny territory. Just saying.
I don’t think knowing Mr. Gold’s first name has anything to do with having power over him. Its the dagger. It was proven both in FTL and SB if magic came back. Next, Prince James’ real name is James because everyone calls him that and finding out his real name will just be like finding out Gold’s real name.
True Love’s kiss from Bae may have worked on Rumple if he had a chance to do it. First, he was scared of what he has become and he also never got a chance to. Plus he did not know about it either.

It doesn’t mean that’s a bad thing. His statement that “magic is power” is true. We’ve seen that with Regina and with the Blue Fairy, who is supposed to the oldest power and the “good” power. The question is what does he plan to do with that power. Rumple’s desire for power/ magic cost him Bae and Belle. He’d rather keep power than to forsake it and be with them. So was it a bad thing? Is it not going to be a roadblock in his new relationship with Belle. After she questioned him about why he wanted magic back and he said power, Belle did give a strange look.

Maybe its confusing because she herself does not know too much about him. Youngs girls these days do get knocked up and not do know anything about the baby’s daddy.
