I heard the following theory over on Jeff and Colleen’s Live show….
Gold is in no hurry to break the curse… because he scheduled the curse to occur before Bael arrives in the Real World. By arriving before Bael arrives Gold will not miss out on his sons life. Bael will still be about 14 -15 years old and no he would not be Henry’s father.
What do you think… feasible or not?

Really? How can any of us know this? There is no proof there was a timeline for the curse to happen. Yes, he created the curse and it was given to Regina who then traded it Maleficent for the sleeping curse. Regina then took it back and enacted it. There was no way that this can be planned that way. This was also the same man who thought August was Bae. I think he was just trying to get to the same world as Bae and find him dead or alive. At this point he seems to not care about any of this because he released magic in SB for what? Power. Once again he chooses power. Leopards do not change their spots.

2. It seems clear Bae is not a priority at the moment. Once again he chose power.
8. Perhaps Bae has to seek jim out. it goes back what Henry said to MM concerning John Doe/ Charming. You have to stop looking for him at let him find you. I think it can apply to Rumple’s case too.charmingParticipantMaleficent says what she said because whatever she does to Snow and Charming whether it be revenge or not it is still not going to bring Daniel back. That is the hole in the heart that cannot be filled. Even if she wins this fight, what does she really win? Regina will still not have Daniel. That was what Henry was trying to tell her before she ripped his heart out. She needed to get over it and move past it in order to heal herself. A famous man once wrote before seeking revenge on another you first must dig two graves.
charmingParticipantAnother example is Regina; she wanted something tragic to happen to Kathryn but never specified death as the answer. Gold says being abducted was tragic enough. I’m sure had she said I would like her dead she would have been so. You need to be specific when dealing with Gold wevery detail makes all the difference.
charmingParticipantIf Regina expects to get a lot out of holding Belle she needs to find a way of negating the please clause. That is the only thing that Regina from having an advantage over Rumple because with one please everything she has planned can be undone. She needs to play it smart and I believe that was something Gold has been suggesting to her all season with every deal they have made. It should have been crysyal clear after the failure to frame MM for “Kath’s murder”. That was clearly a hint and a half without spelling it out for her, unless she is really thick.
charmingParticipantHas anyone considered that there are many authors to the book but only one person put it all together. It may be that everybody wrote down there own story like August wrote and put in his own story…..not Cinderella’s, not Red’s, his. Everyone’e story was wriiten down and someone put it all in one volume. What do you all think???
charmingParticipantI assume the Blue Fairy owes Grumpy one fromtaking Nova away from him. In the episode where Charming was going after Snow, Red took off her hood and he asked what are you doing and she said buying him more time, she turned into a wolf.
Maleficent and Regina traded curses, Mal got the dark for the sleeping and Mal said it did not work blah blah blah. It was in the second episode. When the two of them were in a witch fight.

I don’t think the Blue Fairy was lying when she said that there is no way to get to Bae. I think she did not consider a curse as a viable option to getting to Bae. Cursing the whole world which is what Rumpel did. Then Rumpel mentioned it so she was like oh well maybe that would work.
I agree the BF said he considered a curse when he should have considered a blessing. I think that was a key line that should not be ignored. We are all jaded by the fact that Rimple/Gold is such a charismatic character that we think he can do no wrong even though right now he seems to be the bad one. Certainly if we all hated him we’d think so much differently.
charmingParticipantLook ultimately like Rumple says there is a choice just make the right one. He didn’t that’s why he tells everyone before they make deals with him that. He did not and is paying for it. It was his choice to not follow Bae. He was like Bae said a coward and still is, if he were not then he’d up front and help Emma to defeat Regina if that his goal. He isn’t offeing anything unless they come to him. I think he is a coward and will be so until he can come to terms with whateve he has done.
charmingParticipantIt was the Blue Fairy’s fault that Rumple was too much of a coward to jump in the vortex and follow Bae. The choice was his to make and chose not to but regrets it after the fact. The BF did not force the decision on Rumple but he did it on his own, nor did she intend on separating Bae from Rumple. The plan was simply to have Bae use the bean and take Rumple to a land without magic, so they can be together.
